  • it looks like a behringer mikro

  • you're very fluent, but you need to slow it down so you can better express it.... otherwise, spotless...

  • Id say this is too fast... but very nice played :D

  • Sehr gut gespielt!

  • wow are you trying to catch a train? you should play this slower, it will sound better and you'll make less mistakes

  • lovely, but why you don't play the original notes written for cello?

  • Just wonderful!

  • respect to you and J.S..... love it..... the intensity of the ending is so nice to listen to....

  • An excellent interpretation, thank you very much.

    Many greetings from Bach's homeland

    Jo

  • new strings? or always sounds like that ur guitar? great work :)

  • 41 people do not know what Heaven sounds like.

  • Sweet brilliance, I'm groovin' at home, dude.

  • fantastic interpretation

  • Nice work. Thank you! Don't forget a bit of visual communication with your audience - it all helps. It's harder to connect without eye contact. IMHO.

  • @SmalltimR its not about the room its about the music dude if yew paid attention tew all that then there was no need for yew tew even view this video. thats quite shallow that yew said nothing positive about this video or the music that this very talented man plays.

  • @SmalltimR yea, you missed something. the awesome music.

  • @SmalltimR I'll tell you what you missed my friend, you missed the brilliance of the cover song! maybe next time listen with your eyes closed? just a suggestion ><

  • @SmalltimR

You forgot to mention your ignorance.

  • For a song like this, reverb is not needed.

  • Ethereal... simply beautiful!!!

  • Where did you find the right tablature for this song?

  • @2migueis skip the tab get the real notated music.

  • @scottguitar28 That's what I mean... I don't want to read those numbers, I want the notes in the partiture

  • @DaNorthernLight he does have a website with some songs tabbed out though.

  • @DaNorthernLight yeah, I read, play piano and guitar. But I can't play guitar music, it's a real pain.

  • @DaNorthernLight even if you could......

Guitar is a monster to read for.

  • Amazing preformance, would you happen to have the sheet music for this wonderfull piece?

  • perfect :)

  • I was chosing words...Bach says it through your hands...

  • love your videos!!!

  • Very nicely played and a very melodious piece of music. I would agree with another comment that the tempo was just a little too fast. The right hand could be used more to strive for tonal effects by moving it up or down along the strings more rather than in a fixed position.....i.e. forward for mellowness then back for harder tone depending on the passages within the piece. This is an extra difficulty and I appreciate that .Anyhow well played and thanks for posting.

  • wow i can really play this on cello, bout not as good as you can on the guitar lol

  • WOW....BEAUTIFUL!

  • would you ever consider tabbing your arrangement of this?

  • Thank you for sharing your performance! Check my rendition on my page!

  • All the huge stretches required in classical guitar playing severely hurts the tendons in my hand...it sucks!

  • beautiful, but i think a bit slower will make it charming as well...but no denying a very good performance!

  • very good

  • check out my video. v=U2pmB_FbbwA

  • Your hands are so swift and graceful. I'm sure you have years of practice in them.

  • muy sucio el sonido.... mucha papa frita como decimos en guitarra...

  • Although the sound recording is not optimal ( too much reverb), the only comment I have is that it is, according to my taste, played too fast. And sometimes at an irregular tempo. Most manifest in the last part of the piece. Technically there is no problem for this guitarist playing this piece, but musically.......

    Joe.

  • do somebody knows a link where i can find this kind of partitures for free?

  • @tomviolenceisadream you can find it on scribd.com (I have a version by Duarte from there)

  • it enchanted, I believe to me that you put feeling and your style to him, is very good the interpretation.

  • What I heard was marvelous and the hammers and pulls were his interpretation of the music and were executed tastefully.... I would love to hear this person live to see the passion put into his craft. Thank you for sharing USAguitarist....

  • beautiful

  • what kind of mic could he be using? if anybody knows.. please tell me. ^^

  • @moncmon whos the hell would know that? ask him yourself!

  • @norman201 if it doesn't concern you, i suggest you just shut up.

  • @moncmon lol, i know i should have just did... hehe...

  • @norman201 ^^

  • Correct but he needs to stick to the count. Though i guess soloists can do watever they want huh lmao

  • wow he was really good. i thought it was going to be untamed but my...

  • It was well played except the HUGE number of hammer-ons and pull-offs. Not to say you shouldn't have any but you had possibly too many to give it a smooth and constant feel. Still very nice

  • Awesome guitarist and interpretation of this music. Bravo, usaguitarist!

  • i like this sound too.

and i think it should be noted that

'usaguitarist' is not 'USA + Guitarist' probably.

This name is just a word play with Usagi and Guitarist. 'Usagi' means a rabbit in Japanese.

  • Tocas bien pero suena mucho a uña.

  • I need the score of this prelude... send me the score please

  • great performance as well, really beautifully played.

  • going over bach in history this semester, so pumped up for it. I really wanna learn this on guitar.

  • excellent performance....... and that refers to the music, not to the idiotic commentaries

  • this is an amazing cello piece, never heard it on guitar, but it sounds awesome.

  • I love it:)

  • @Napoleontas Japanese isn't a race, idiot. lol

  • american subhuman eat your macdonalds stupidest people on earth and just shut up american monkeys

  • I'm the stupid one and you're the one who made a fuck ton of grammatical errors. lol

  • iam making grammatical errors but iam the one who is able to communicate in a foreign language you stupid brainless filth

  • @Napoleontas:

American's really are not the most stupid people on earth. There is ignorance in all culture, and America isn't free from that. Nor is Greece.

Don't judge a culture for what you see on TV and read online, please.

    @USAguitarist

Great rendition of Prelude 1, I've always loved this piece. Wonderful sounding guitar as well.

  • No havent created the opinion that the americans are idiots from TV and what i read online, i have created that opinion from the comments i read that are written from americans.

  • I just don't feel it's fair to lump us all together, that's all.

I mean, sure, opinions are great things, but don't say all americans. a lot of us are hardworking, honest individuals. and there are a lot that like to make us appear as fools.

(and just to say, reading comments is part of what i said earlier about reading things online. because, youtube is aprt of the internet)

  • you are disarming me with your way, even though the comments that i read is not an opinion of another about the americans but the opinions of the americans themselves , cannot do other wise but to agree with you

  • if i am american, and disarmed you, then i'm clearly not stupid.

lets just drop it. think before speaking upon an entire nation. there is stupidity everywhere, no nation is free of it. there is also intelligence everywhere in the world.

  • yes but point of views and general mind settings can be stupid and this is a thing that strongly characterizes the American mind set, there is stupidity everywhere certainly but intelligence? I don think that i will find any intelligence i really doubt that, intelligence in a sense of judging the general population standards and picking up the persons that are not as stupid as the rest and accordingly picking nations that are generally cleverer and thus rising the level of the individual

  • thats the most ethnocentric thing ive ever read in my life.

go on CNN's website where i read this:

The average US Soldier is more educated than the average european CITIZEN. look at the colleges and universities of America and tell me there isn't intelligence. I recognize the abilities of other nations. its time you do too.

  • Although i consider that kind average measuring quite silly, ill answer to that that the average usa citizen is 10 times more brainwashed than the average european citizen, and universities is a product of europe, "and the numbers of universities in such a vast continent like america is quite normal to be large, considering that american was firstly established by europeans" I dont have anything against you but please dont tell me that you believe such averages, the one contradict another

  • you contradict yourself in saying that if we were once european, then are we american? and if americans are europeans, and americans are all stupid and fat, then europeans are all stupid and fat?

do you not see how stupid an argument this is?

I believe you to be the brainwashed in this situation. you just buy into hate for no reason other than that you read comments on youtube.

  • i said that was firstly established by europeans, that is not the fact knowdays, i also say that the statistics of that kind are unrealistic, cause here in greece we have in average the most educated population in europe cause our population have the most diplomas and degrees than any other in europe, but that does not mean that our mind setting and our cultural standards are as high as in scandinavia or western europe for eg, The americans are stupid cause they are mixtures 1 and2 biased

  • And of course i dindnt said that ALL the americans are stupid BUT their average mind setting and mental outlook is overwhelmingly expressing symptoms of a general and undeniably brainwashing that is justly creating the opinion that americans are stupid. For eg i think that you are quite reasonable.

  • i happen to like europeans!

I'm just sad to think that the nation i love is hated by so many. I get passionate about it, thats all.

this conversation could have no end really. i can't change the mindset of others, but its ok.

let's here it for loving our countries, eh?

    :)

  • I appreciate the love for your country, loving your country is the first and greatest step of making it better.

  • amen, take it easy brotha.

    good chit chattin with ya!

  • @Napoleontas

Anyone who dismisses and entire nation as brainless filth is clearly an apathetic piece of dirt. If you don't like America, thats fine, but don't think you're better than anyone else because being judgmental is one of the clearest signs of ignorance.

  • And there you come to justify my beliefs

  • Hah think what you want but you're only embarrassing yourself.

  • Yes they are not a race they are a multinational trademark, Stupidness rule the earth

  • And dont confuse the japanese with the USA , they ARE a race the americans are not.

    Idiot

  • Japan is a nationality. Asian is the race. Kids nowadays...

  • and what a surprise you are from usa!!! That is graphic ! There is no asian race anthropologically there is the mongoloid race and there are branches one of them is the japanese racial type.. americans as always...

  • I see we have alot of people hating the japanese there is no other explanation that ive got 7 thumbs down cause i said that japanese are a great race...

  • Nicee

  • Thoroughly enjoyed this! Keep it up!

  • Beautifully done! A delight to the ear.

  • But it's excellent

  • Comment removed

  • Not saying he's playing it wrong or anything, but it's just not the same without it being played on a Cello. :P

  • Nice sound! what guitar you use?

  • you are great bro keep it up

  • 1° Dedilhado sujo sem sentimento.

2° Faltou nota na escala decrescente.

    3° gravação Ruim.

  • Ok, I have a favor. If you're able to point out these mistakes then you should make a video of this prelude to teach him how to fix it.

Honestly, I saw your videos. They're bad. You have less than mediocre voice and you suck at the guitar.

    Ponto.

  • I have a favor to ask of you. If you are so ready to point out this person's errors, please make a video to teach the proper way to play this song. I would appreciate it.

Also, I saw your videos. You have a less than mediocre singing voice and you suck at the guitar.

    Ponto.

  • Hmm...at first i though you were just being rude or something but I have to agree. Though at the same time i dont own a camera or mic so i cant make my own videos to demostrate corrections. Posting something doesnt =credibility. It would just mean youre a musician who interprets music incorrectly.

  • My comment was intended for Carolpink20 who says more or less that the guitarist in the video is terrible, he has no emotion, etc.

I hate new youtube and how the message system works.

  • Do you have a tab for this version?

  • That looks difficult for the left hand!!!!

  • its harder on the right hand actually

  • hay pocos adjetivos para describir algo asi 1 y tal vez el mas apropiado es hermoso

  • that was fucking nuts man!

  • that is beautiful!

  • Nice to hear!

    Thanks for the music.

Maybe you like to hear some Bach music (e. g. BWV1006a, Preludium) on steelstring guitar from hungarian guitarist Pál Paulikovics, ifso, check my videos.

    Cheers

    Joachim from Germany

  • cool! currently learning classico.. and planning to learn this song! in the future..

  • I hope to be playing like this in 100 years

  • well played...

  • He is not showing his face because it is illegal in Japan to show your face on the internet.

  • why? it seems quite backwards

  • Are you sure?

  • not bad! keep working!

  • The piece is played too fast but the guitarist is good. What a lovely piece this is and how many intricate things the composer hasweaved into it leaving so much for the musician to study and interpret. Greetings from Ireland.

  • you're cool as hell,man.

the way you don't show your race, the perfection in your music playing, everything!!!!!!!!

  • Show de bola!! mto bom!

    Very good!!

    Congratulations!

  • again nice.

My only suggestion (me being a cello player) would be to even out the rhythms when you play two notes on one string pluck (what we would call a slur).

It's just refining the left hand rhythm technique. Your' right hand rhythm is superb, so I don't think it's that you have bad rhythm, just need more muscle training in the left hand.

Thanks for another great yt recording of the Bach repertoir.

    <3

  • not catching that in practice is due to bad rhythm. I never liked this guys playing to be honest

  • cello power!!!

  • dont see you with anything posted.. shut your fucking mouth unless you can actually do better

WD i thought it was pretty good

  • I love the speed at which this is played, and i think she plays it make a lot of feeling and dynamic :)

  • Very well played, although a little too fast.

  • this piece is ought to be played at least at double speed

  • great job <3

  • come on show me your face !

  • dos tres

    en cello suena mejor xD

talves por q es para ese y no para guitarra

  • nice play. But bad arranging.

  • I'm not an expert on music like some of the people here; nor do I study it.

I found the piece overall beautiful, though differing from the original in a few ways at some parts.

  • There are no "experts" here. Only shut-ins with negative attitudes.

  • I didn't like his execution actually. Not smooth enough, and wayt too heavy on the 'appoggiato' on the lower strings. Plus in some parts he was accelerating too much.

  • simply wonderfull playing, awesome sound!! greetings and respect from Bram D,Holland (I sub"d)

  • Very good! I'd focus on your dynamics a bit, however.

  • GREAT, but where can I get the tab?????????????

  • GOOGLE "j. s. bach cello suite no.1 prelude bwv 1007 guitar tabs"

this one he played is in D major, so far it's also the best tabs I found.

    it's everywhere on the internet.

  • um, could you tell me how to put my guitar in D major?

  • In this video, the tuning is DADGBE, so called "drop D tuning."

  • oh ok, i know how to do that, lol

  • it was really good , i had seen this piece playing on the cello, before i saw ur video.,., and i like it .,

  • Hey man it´s so nice!!!. Here, in Spain, we say that good guitar players are the best with their right hand. That´s the hand that make music. But when I see your left hand moving, I don´t think so...

...A good video to learn how to play a guitar...

    Congratulations from Spain.

  • Really nice!! the vey best performance and arregment ever see for this song to guitar, i made mine time ago but this is just great, i will learn it. dont be shine ,show ur face!! :)

  • I don't know if it's just me but when I'm playing classical music I can't stop watching the fretboard

  • Well done.

  • SIMPLEMENTE HERMOSO!!!!

  • Nice piece. Where can I find the tabs?

  • sounds good

  • I'm learning this now. Good grief..it's pretty hard for me. I just started learning classical.

  • hmm i think this piece is on the grade 8 book for the royal conservatory. guitar repetoir and studies. so i dont think you should start on it considering 8 is the highest level.

  • YEAS IT IS, i am waiting for my book to come so i start on it,

  • and were do you go the tabs... ?

  • there are flaws here and there, but I loved listening to this and other videos of yours. Not the cold perfection of a professional DVD, nor the ugly mistakes of an amateur, just as I like it. Thank you for sharing. :-)

  • I don't think it is rushed at all...MrBlackBrown

  • you are great! ^^

  • patır kütür calınırmı bu parca yaw ayıptır

  • excellent!

  • Good job, man.

  • Nice work, man. I'm doing this myself in a couple of days. There's a few things we do slightly different, but hey, isn't artistic license grand.

Not to be too critical, but it's not a race. It's very good, but I think it would really be over the top if you slowed down just a bit - it feels a little rushed. Also, I'd cut the reverb back a bot too. Don't get me wrong, great job!

Too the guy that said it's easy, get real. Many of us learn it, but that doesn't mean it's easy.

  • I like guitar playing.

  • it is one of the most difficult to play with guitar me guess, you are really talented.

  • Actually, no. It's a simple piece to play. Most guitarists play it as some time or another.

  • Some of you people are too smart for your own good. Stop thinking so much & just listen!

  • you completely and absolutely rock!

  • You have talent!!!!

  • Yyyeeeaaahhh! Excellent, Wonderfull, beautyfull, brilliant!!!! you are th best!!!

    :O :D 5 stars of course :D

  • Hermosisima cancion clasica de mi maestro bach =D

  • TFA........dig the AKG

    sounds great !

  • yo this was well played, i enjoyed the sound you got a lot, i simply love this piece and did it for my performance piece in viola. great job and honestly if peeps cant just appriciate it for what it is your too stuck up to be talking about good music anyways. GREAT JOB!

  • will both you fags shut up

    and watch the video

  • lol

  • 髪

  • Difficult to improve on the original. The original notes played in C major on guitar works best.

In an effort to give this piece an unnecessary fuller sound this arrangement adds harmonically wrong notes in the base creating the wrong chords and the wrong inversions, with superfluous notes added in the treble. A workmanlike performance of a poor arrangement.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Especially if it was created by one whose talents and genius are vastly superior to one's own.
