@himynameisoleander there are several ways to do it. I've seen a few documentary crew do it by using shark cages and extendable tripods that they use while on a boat. In one case I also seen a camera crew that made a partnership with local research facilities and attach camera on the creature they target to document for the show. The rest is all about choosing the right footage and the right angles to shoot. Note: Those guys sometimes spend months to get the right shot, isn't as easy as it looks
