@SASenglish no matter what? actualy it depends on the power of your pc and if it will be able to handle the game at full settings so in most cases thats why i prefer a console coz no modification is needed to play a game but at full settings on a capable enuff pc that allows the game to still be playable without performance hindering then yes the graphics are superior

@wkaine88 lol. even a £800 laptop can play games better then a console can, and we are talking about a laptop. things are tuned down in performance but yet they still do better then a console. graphics are always superior on a pc to a console. low settings on a pc is better then a ps3 or xbox in battlefield 3. plus they can handle alot more, 64 players when a console can only handle 24, which btw is still limited to 30fps, which is crap lol.

@SASenglish thats £800 and a xbox is only £200 with games included and in my opinion an xbox is quicker to pick up and play, i do have a £700 laptop to play sims 3 on and it is alot better than the sims i have for xbox but i have my xbox for games i can quickly pick up and play but on my laptop i need time and due to my laptop been used for other things its performance has slowed over time but my xbox still runs the same

@wkaine88 yes, thats all a xbox does is gaming, can u play with it on the go, around the house without having to move that massive power brick, all the leads and a tv?. thought not, and to ur pc being slow, do a disc cleanup, that seems to speed up things alot, or a disk defrag but that takes time, i personally prefer pc gaming, more features and better community, but i also play on the ps3, both are enjoyable, but prefer pc as it can do alot more then just gaming so.

What'd I'd like to see is a fast-swap between 3rd-person control (speaking for consoles only) to first-person control. Giving players the chance to send their army marching forward then taking control of a soldier and becoming the ultimate fighter.

@FlamingHotKittens Yeah but the game worked with that cap. They would have cut graphic quality which would suck. I am sorry but Halo Wars is by far the best RTS on any console. And for PC I would say RoN (hold your flame) but there are many I have not tried. Sins of a solar empire is great but never got into it. I would love to try starcraft though. AoE is great for it's time but very unbalanced! RoN is rise of nations if you didn't know :P

@FlamingHotKittens Really, when you think about it, Halo Wars' small scale can probably be seen as sort of a good thing as it allows you to more easily micromanage your individual units and use more complex tactics than you would on games like the 360 versions of the Supreme Commander games. Plus, the real reason it's so small scale in the first place is to keep the game from getting all lagtastic on you in the heat of battle, what with the gorgeous graphics and all.

Lotr does not revolve around the adventures you saw in the movie. There were many more characters and events happening even before the story of the fellowship unfolds. The movies only cover so much parts of the actual story. if you're not a lotr books fan, you can play this game and learn much more than what the movies have showed ya.

Actually on the xbox 360 version you are not able to create a hero. But there's plenty of heroes to go around for any of the six factions. I only paid 27 dollars for my copy and that was over two years ago. I'm sure it's a lot cheaper now. Also playable online. Great over all game. I still play it to this date from time to time.

the only complaint i have for this x-360 version is the reduced command limit. i can deal with x-360's lag more than the computers but in skirmish mode u need command points the most cuz some of the units have way to high of a command points needed to control it. u cnt even control a 1,000 man army
