@svberry : the "marine" hi def antennas I searched for $200 - $400 and the ones under required power and I didn't want high cost or powered antenna so I made my own: click the "boat parts" link in the video description and plug Winegard 1080 HDTV in the second search box (non UK) you see. $26 dollars and a tube of silicone gets you a "marine" antenna. Connect and goop over all electrical connections, seal the plugs. We love it, get 60+ channels at times when we cruise.
@flagold : cont: we teamed the antenna up to a 12v Naxa TV (110 also) so we can watch TV without a generator running or an inverter humming - one of the better purchases, along with buying that little welder in the top left of the page and welding up our ladder instead of paying close to $800 for one.
@firstfitnut : saw your post in the Prairie section of Trawlerforum (dot) com and answered you there as best I could, but wait for others to chime in. The Prairie (I know this is said by everyone with a boat but in this case it is true) is an extremely strong boat, it was built with solid FG, there is no wood used for stringers, etc. They will be cruising long after we're all gone, so enjoy and take care of it, they've already held up far better than other boats 1/10th their age.
You are really living the dream, I am aspiring to live your life at some point in the future, clearly I still have an enormous amount to learn, but I am doing my best to chip away collecting knowledge and saving to purchase a sluice, a detector and a Facetron, I especially want to thank you for your videos on providing 'crash proof income'. A boat will have to wait but thanks a million for everything to date! Take care. Time to explore the German Alps for financial freedom!
@RatkoUSA : I would suggest plugging "Prairie 29 Yachtworld" into your search to see what they look like in pictures, the video is compressed which skews things a bit. They are stable up to 25 knots wind on the aft quarter and then you have a handful after that.
@flagold It's a neat looking water craft. And the possibility of the video squeezing the image did cross my mind. But knowing nothing about boats I asked out of curiosity wondering if some type of ballast was involved, like lead or concrete near the keel for example.
Got to love that "marine" humor. lol

Can you tell me anything about the hi-def antenna. Make, cost, where to get one for a marine app.

She looks very short narrow and tall. Is it stable on the water?

Don't throw away the 4 blade. Your gains may not be that much & you might miss the smooth running.

@hustn99 : duly noted - and we may do just that. The four blade has worked superb so far.
