Instigal, 1. Your conflating insults with wholesale murder. No where in this video does the creator even hint of any kind of advocation of violence. The video is sound clips from public figures and protesters, as well as pictures of various protests around town.2.The police are an institution not a national, racial, political, or cultural group. Your history teacher must be incredibly disappointed. From my understanding, the slogan ACAB is aimed at the police as an institution and not each one.

Citizenwill, I appreciate that you see through the Mayor's obfuscation and were disappointed by the report as well. However, these images aren't slanderous in that both the Mayor and Police Chief are public figures and that the video is not presented as fact. I'm not quite sure what squeeze the pulp images is a reference to. But just to assure you this isn't a false flag video.

This video is extremely disturbing and as a student of the history of genocide raises many alarm bells for me. This is not a "liberal" thing, this is a call to kill other human beings. I am a Carrboro liberal who supports the police of Chapel Hill and Carrboro and appreciates all they do to keep us safe from people like this. Thank you for taking all the crap you take. Given the anonymity of "acab" and SqueezeThePulp images, it wasn't obvious who was posting or why. If someone wanted to stir the pot this "satirical" video would be a good way to create CHPD supporter outrage.

I don't find the images of Mark K. holding a shotgun or Chris B. under the banner "cops pigs murderers" humorous. I disagree with what happened at Yates and am disappointed in both the subsequent report and the Mayor's obfuscation but neither justifies these slanderous images.

Also, the poster of the video posted a link to an actual article describing the chain of events. One could easily read that if they wanted to find out more. This clearly isn't part of a "disinformation type effort."

This video and song are clearly meant to be humorous. This isn't a news article, it's a funny video making fun of the mayor and the police. To say that Chief Blue was treated unfairly in this satire, after he released a paramilitary force on unarmed protesters then lied to the entire community about his rational, is just plain pathetic.

This video is dishonest in its treatment of Chief Blue and misrepresents the subsequent events. It's easy to try to get a rise out of people but not very productive. If you are trying to make real change you should lose the vitriol.

Of course, it's unclear who produced this video. I guess it's possible it's part of a disinformation type effort.
