The first set of stators did not fit the engine because I just took a chance with some miscellaneous Honda ones that look like they mite fit for $9.00 on eBay, now they also sell a new electric start kit for the 13hp Honda where they come with this kit along with the rectifier, and should fit this engine, so Ill try again next fall for $99.00.
@8tyman8 Hi, this turned out to be one of those 20/80 chance deals and I lost. The stators where about $6 dollars used off ebay so I took a chance, The stator flywheel kit is 199.00 dollars and you can get the hole eclectic start 16HP with the stators now for $ 299.00 delivered to the door. I'm getting ready to modify my golf cart in a video with that and all find out more when the time comes. thanks
I also have the safety bypassed on the 1032 in this video for test and setup operation only, they will eventually be reset back up in the episode on engine setup and Ill try to make it simple and easy to understand how they work in the video when we get to that point in the project. thanks 31pockets
Awesome job. I'm also in the beginning stages of restoring a 1032 like your's to give to my grandfather. I'm trying to use it, but I messed up the original wiring. Trying to bypass the safety switch and key switch with a toggle switch.
Thanks MrTractordude, We are expecting giant snow falls and super cold weather for about the next 7 to 10 years now in southern Michigan thanks to Al Gore sending us into another ice age with his big mouth and stupidity thoughts on the earth. Where trying the best we can with restoring the 1032 and Im glad it looks OK in the video, when you see it in real life its a little more ruff, but getting better. Thanks 31pockets
Awesome vid serie! Im curious how u did with the motorbolts. Did u weld them in place underneath? Thanks

@xcrdude , They are bolts going through the engine mount with lock nut's under the new plate that was welded in. Thanks for the comment.
