Hmm actually 12 v systema battery gives u a higher ROF than ur 11.1v firefox lipo battery and therea colin ur talking shit, u cant charge ur lipo whenever u want but it actually dun over power than a systema 12v battery, and lipo is abit dangerous it may explode if not handled properly but lipo is good for normal airsoft guns that cant handle a 12v but is lipo ready and for the record i own a systema m4 super max with a m160 cylinder, silver colour 1 and its ROF is higher than urs.

ummm of course its not that big of a difference over stock...if anything its worse because PTW comes with a 12v ...and thats an 11.1v. Voltage is voltage regardless of mAh ....

nice systema.... i only got a kwa and it works perfect with 11.1v... ive had a firefox fail on me. You should try out the G&G ones. Is a ptw worth getting?

0.0 you seriously need to read about lipo before you throw it into a gun and dont have a clue about it. Lipos must systain a minimum voltage. i believe its 3.4v per cell. if you go below that, BOOM! burst into flames. never NEVER NEVER use a "kinda dead" lipo battery. expecially in an expensive systema gun. any the tamiya connectors, thats a fail point because its an unconsistant connection. the 11.1v's could melt it easily and cause a short, and cause another boom -_-

There is a difference between a stock battery (9.6 or 8.4) with a lipo semi is instantanious pretty much which I really like, and with full auto it's not horrible for the gun it's just unnessesary because in 10 seconds you have shot 100 rounds and all the people you are playing with probobly have just shot 50

yea although it still seems a tad slow for a systema.... firefox batterys might not put out as much power as nicer lipo's or i cud be wrong but that could be the case

lol, my KWA M4 w/ a 3 cell lipo fires faster than that. But...i really like the fact that it has the bolt catch for when the mag is empty.

when i fire a few shots w\my new sys it stops firing, like a lose connection,

so i take off the battery, inspect the connectors, re-connect it (it's charged)

It fires 15 or so flawless, but something about holding it level to the ground, loses the connection some how????

-someone mentioned switching to deans connections, but could it be further internal??

The magazine used in the gun is a stock Systema 120-round magazine.

Yes, I realized after the fact that my camera positioning wasn't exactly the best. You'll have to keep in mind though, this video was mainly shot for a friend who was curious about the performance of the lipo pack in the gun.

I may update this series later with a new video, now that I have a better camera.

Lithium Polymer batteries have numerous advantages over the VERY old nicad batteries; They don't have a 'memory' effect during charging, you can charge them whenever you like, in fact, it's recommended to charge them whenever not in use. The packs can be MUCH smaller, and put out MUCH higher amperage, and they're inexpensive. I switched to Lipo batteries over 2 years ago, and I've never looked back.
