I mean, they're not choosing to be that way because we've both acknowledged that they aren't capable of that, so why do they do it? The point was to show that homosexuality is widespread in other animals as well, and as such cannot be considered 'unnatural', and cannot be considered 'sin' or 'a choice' because most other animals (presumably) don't have the capacity to understand those concepts. Good talking points, however, Geronami is not advocating for the criminalization of homosexuality. He is simply iterating that God is opposed to it and the real-world research bears that out. Sexual deviance does not preclude one from being influential (Lincoln) or intellectual (Shakespeare). Homosexuality is simply not a healthy, or Godly, way to live your life on Earth.
