A great version. I do feel LP have gone a tad too commercial now. Dont get me wrong, i still love a lot of their work but all that JZ shit,....c'mon! Its not needed and theres too much technology working Chesters vox here on this song. Not raw enough as it could be for a live version. Just look around YT. Theres plenty better versions out their that dont sound "fixed". Hell, im sure i can here the odd bit of auto tune here and theres too much echo mastering and reverb on his vox too.

@TheCavedaddy No if you had perfect hearing, like me, you could tell that they are subtle differences, for example, Chester's voice is slightly higher and less clear, and he holds the line "across this new divide" longer than the studio version and his voice sounds more natural than the studio version, and you can also tell that the way he pronounces words is different than the studio version

He somewhat screams a bit on some word he doesn't on the record, you can also notice his breathe much more than on the record, maybe he's just trying to prove everyone who's telling things like "Chester is losing his voice" that he still can sing, but for some reasons (medically apparently) he has to rest !

The thing is LP started at the era of modern day music and because they were so good at it they developed a large fan base but so many were doing it that loads if bands struggled so LP were one of the first to mix their old music style and mix it into a new type of music and that got them through those struggling times developing a larger fanbase but all the other bands saw what they did and did it themselves only caring about the money whilst LP changed to something that they feel suits them
