Never thought the singers would sound like crap live. I don't it really matter's what decade the music from many singers don't sound very good live. I have watched videos of live performances and Styx doesn't sound very good live. The original recordings sound much better. Bonnie Tyler is an example of someone that sounds good live. Stevie Nicks and The Pet Shop Boys also sound good live.
