I think the copyright issue thing is bullshit. So, a few songs were based off or had similar parts to other songs, which is interesting, and they put some Beatles stuff in there... but really? The Beatles now has music on Itunes! The RPG business is obviously more popular now than it was back in the days of Mother 1, and maybe even Earthbound (in the West).
