My grandfather was an german paratrooper on a ju-52 in Stalingrad. C-47 looks like better ^^

That was awesome, I was there on the Saturday and missed this display. I wanted to come back on the Sunday, but had other plans. Check out my video entitled Battlefield, (watch on vimeo for better quality)

It was a display well worth seeing. Its totally changed my view of the C-47 as a display aircraft! I missed the best pass it made though, flying low and fast over a small clump of trees just out of view and then straight over the crowd. Brilliant display.

Yep. I always find it a bit of a disappointment when waiting at a show for the BBMF to turn up, and then a C-47 comes along instead of the Lancaster. But this will make me think again!

Great display. And yes, the P-51 is 'Furious Frankie'.
