people need to remember the 3DS is not a DS it has nothing to do with a DS it's like the jump from Game boy to Game boy Advanced. It has a completely new engine and you cannot play DS games on 3DS though there is a slot to play DS games on the 3DS just like the DS had a slot for GBA. So remember this is a successor not just a new version.

It's proabibly just me but the music used in this trailer (especially from 0:44 to end) sounds similar to "Dog Fighter" from SDF Macross. I'm not saying it's bad or anything; it actually helps the trailer give the viewer that "optimistic/adventure" emotion.

Too bad it'll be awhile until the OST is released :C.

You have to remember this is early in the consoles lifespan too. Graphics usually improve as people get to know the hardware more often. Look at the PS2, compare early titles to something like Persona 4. o:

In order to properly render 3D a large amount of processing power is required If you were to see Wii standard graphics you'd need the power of 2 Wii's to pull it off as you'd need to show 2 different displays plus extra.

This graphics wise looks better than the Wii ...

Who gives a shit if this is more powerful than the PSP or not? It's clearly in the same realm graphically, and yet it can do a lot the PSP can't. Yes yes, I know the PSP plays movies and music and whatnot, but if I wanted a terrible PMP, chinavasion has about a million for sale. What I want is a machine that plays fun games, and the PSP aint it.
