AH i hate that blue and vaders tie, its not accurate to the film, anyway my wings and all my ties except the bomber are loose and it really bothering me, should i glue them in?
@VaderFan777 If they're already loose it wouldn't be too bad to glue them in place. But there are a few other things you could try first. Just cram the holes with Duct tape and force the wings on. The extra pressure might hold them in place and it wont damage the vehicle.
The reason why Kenner switched from the white TIE Fighter to the blue version in 1983 was because the blue TIEs started showing up in ESB and ROTJ. The ANH white version was in fact seen in that movie. Kenner updated their toys to reflect what they looked like in the current film. The TIE Fighters were so awesome, but they missed out on doing the TIE Bomber until Hasbro made it in 2002.
@Bluesnaggs I used to try to make a tie bomber out of two Tie fighter cockpits, but it didnt look right. Thanka for the info, next time I watch ANH i'll look at the color more closely.
@micahc6v8 Lucas had the TIE Fighters in white in ANH supposedly because blue ones would not work with blue screen effects. Not sure how they overcame that problem in ESB and ROTJ though, since they used blue screen there. Its neat that Kenner made both versions. The more the better!
