@reddot44 i hate to correct you with facts, but clinton didn't have a deficit. the last 4 years of his presidency delived surpluses. those surpluses were the first the country had seen in three decades. Bush 2 started two wars (you may not realise this but wars cost money), lowered taxes three times, and failed to adequately invest in education. why dont you pick up a book before you embarrass yourself again.

Clinton did nothing during his presidency and I challenge you to find one bill that he imposed that made it through Cognress and had an effect on the economy. During his presidency the Conservatives ruled both houses of Congress and called every shot like NAFTA, Balanced Budget, and Welfare Reform(Which I might add Clinton took credit for) The economy stayed successful during this time because of the technology boom, not because of him.
