Freaking awesome. I'm curious, is there any way to get rid of the boxes that occur when it tries to create a character that it can't? Is that the font doing that? I'd rather have them gone all together, but going through thousands of characters would take forever.

@Quizzicality I figured it out, pretty simple really, just use the replace function and replace them with nothing 1 at a time. Before long you'll have trouble finding them, and soon after that you won't be able to. There's 20-30 characters that display as boxes. Also, it's easier if you change the font and increase it's size. You can do it in 5 minutes. Recommend you delete 90-95% of the text file before you start replacing characters.

Dude, I did the second have of this tut with one of my cool backgrounds and a picture I found online. I can't get it to look as cool as yours. It just looks like I colorized the original with my bg img and then just screen blended it on. The distortion is hardly noticeable. I am such a dork. (Yes, I followed all your instructions.)

If you on a mac and drag a photo to text editor, then your mac copy the photo, if you want the text, copy the image and delete "JPG" and paste "txt", than you have random text =D ;)
