the big 4 is a pure example of what pure metal is about.

some people will get mad at me for saying that, but that kind of old-school thrash is at least music you can actually listen to. unlike listening to extreme metal.

you can't hum the growls, there's too much noise and a cacophony of riffs, they won't be stuck in your head.

But once I listen to Fade to Black, I can't concentrate at anything, the riff, the lyrics, the harmonies, the melody... are just stuck in my head
