  • I think whether or not something is satanic has everything to do with the inspiration. If it inspired by Christ, it cannot be satanic. Surely there are some people who are in the Christian music industry to make money, but it's not about those individuals.   • @UtubeLeeOh This video deals specifically with music, different things can be portrayed in a movie, they tell stories, like parables, so that is something different from music. All 'Christian music' that is a copy of worldly music is wrong indeed.

  • @jangel2771 You're right also. The genre of music caters to the audience that listens to that particular music. Once again, it comes down to the lyrics and appearance. Let's put it like this, if I see a christian rap video, I should be able to mute the volume and see the difference in what the artists portray. Whether it has a secular look or a portrayal of being a changed person in Christ. Being in Christ means you have changed heart as well as a changed appearance.

  • @jangel2771 If you are driving down the street bumping your music, who's able to hear the lyrics in the first place as you "pass by" them? When you bump your music loud, all it appears to be is someone driving down the street with a booming stereo system. In other words, a secular appearance. A christian change involves an overall change. The way you look, the way you think, the way you carry yourself, etc. Who would want to hear a minister teaching God's word with pants hanging down low?

And it's definitely not presenting your body as a temple of God. Besides, heavy metal is a topic I don't even want to touch. I know nothing about the music and not interested in hearing it let alone discussing it.

  • @tawnygirlwk37 Rap is a gift just as singing is. You have those that think they can rap and just throw words that rhyme together. Then you have those that are considered lyricists. Lyricists have a gift. A gift that can and has been used for ministering. To minister God's word. Transforming and renewing of the mind doesn't mean that I'm supposed to or should stop rapping. Once I've been transformed and mind renewed, then my gift should be used for work in God's kingdom.

  • @tawnygirlwk37 I've done secular rap for years. No gangsta lyrics, no profanity, no degrading anyone, but keeping it clean. Rap itself is not the problem. Once again it's the content of the lyrics. Don't stop at verse 2. It says more in chapter 12. Verse 6 says Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; verse 7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching.

  • @tawnygirlwk37 I think I spent more time on this than I intended to. You shouldn't condemn an art form of music because of what some have done to the art form. My aim is to be the difference. Making a difference in the eyes of the youth as well as adults. A good minister will give you the scripture, the message from the scripture, but also encourage you to study it for yourself and not just go on what he says. Don't condemn what God can use as a tool for ministering.

I'm starting a youth christian rap ministry which will teach the youth the history of rap, the different styles of rap, what it's evolved into today, and using rap to minister God's word. To also teach them to listen to lyrics first to know what you're actually listening to. Our purpose is to win souls to Christ. I totally agree that there is bad music out there. But for every negative, there's a positive.

For years, some rap artists have used their rap lyrics to make people aware of what's going on in America as well as in the world. Which also includes attacking rap lyrics that promote drugs, violence, and sex. Why can't the same art form of music be used to minister God's word? Hip hop never meant shake your booty. Hip hop is not a part of rap.

  • @tawnygirlwk37 The bible does not say that sinners couldn't be saved. Nor does the bible state that different forms of music can't be used to edify others about God and praise God.  A sinful thought is just as bad as physically committing the sin. Rock music and Rap music does not constitute it being evil. The content of the lyrics is what sets the standard. If you truly believe in God, does that make everyone that spreads the gospel a hypocrite? Because we all sin.

Now, what you do with the music is what determines if it's bad or not. Every man and woman is born with a sin nature through Adam's act of disobedience, which is the reason Jesus sacrificed himself so that we may obtain salvation. Whether you're a christian or not, the bible doesn't say that we wouldn't sin after Jesus' crucifixion.

If it's praise to God or lessons on a Christian lifestyle, then you are saying God is wrong. The Holy Bible NEVER discourages loud worship.   • A lot of people dont agree withe the christian rap and rock. They feel we sutppose 2 listen 2 the traditional music, but i've heard of traditional gospel artists commiting adultry and drinking alcohol as well as some christian rap and rock artists today. I feel no matter what genre of christian music we perform of listen 2 pray over it 1st and make sure its glorifying God 2 da fullest. I love christian rap but some artists I dont agree with, because the message isnt strong enough.

    I have no problem with agnosticism because it is very well "logical". But the fact that you stated "Religion is bullshit" shows that you completely throw away any reason of a doubt of there being any truth to it. Which actually goes against "agnosticism" because agnosticism only states that Religion cannot be "proven".

Me and a couple of my friends actualy made a christian rap group call D.O.G ( Diciples of GOD) and when we perform were not performing for the fans, I said at the end of one of my verses "were doing this for GOD were not doing this for fans".   • I look at it like this. Satan is everywhere, he's in the 'church building', he's as school, he's in rock, he's everywhere a sinner is. The only place, that has no place for satan, is in the Lord. I've heard some rap lines in christian music, that really hit me like, wow, that's definitly the devil, and in the same song, was like, yeah, that's definitly the word of God. I find, satan, and God speaking are spiritual happenings, and it's deeper than just a style of music.

  • If Jesus is not the one who sits on the throne than this means that God has a body. If so, than he has arms, also, legs, head, and a mouth. According to the scripture in Colossians 2:9 "For IN him dwelleth all the FULLNESS of the Godhead bodily" - Therefor making the Godhead exist within Jesus Christ. But in a book before that in Romans the 12 chapter verse 1 and 2 if you would take the time to read it you'd see that we're to present our bodies a holy and acceptable sacrifice because it's our reasonable duties than it says that we're to be no conformed to the world.   • My outlook is not correct? It says it plain and simple in the Bible! You don't have to baptized to be saved. Let me refer you to Luke 23:39-43. Two criminals were crucified with Jesus. One of them mocked Jesus just as the other Jews had. But the other accepted Jesus as the Messiah, and trusted in Him without getting baptized. Yet still Jesus said to him, "I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise" (NLT). Baptism is not a salvation requirement. It is a public proclamation.

  • My friend, Jesus was the Word. Which was God's spoken Word. The testimony of Jesus Christ is the Spirit of Prophecy. This utterly is explained within itself. Jesus was the redeemer, however, the man on the cross was under the Law. Seeing how it had been at the moment of the sacrifice, the Lamb being Christ (Atonement) Jesus was able to forgive him under the Law. Thus, he went to Paradise which was under the Law for the Saints of Old. He was under Grace yet, he was saved by the skin of his teeth.

  • I don't think so. You see, Jesus was tortured IMMENSELY more than the other two criminals. He had more open wounds on His body then skin. Therefore, He only lasted 3 hours on the Cross as the Bible says. However, since the criminals were in better shape than Jesus was, it's reasonable to believe that they lasted longer. Since Jesus released His spirit before dying, then technically, the criminal died in the era of the New Law. And since he was not baptized and still saved, it's not needed.

The Lamb for sinner's slain. but when I pointed out that he was the Word, I did not only mean the 'Logos' but also 'Re'ma' which is to be translated as "God's Creative" word. Meaning this, Jesus was able to speak it, and it would happen. It would be much easier to believe that all you have to do is believe and trust and be saved but that's not the case. You MUST be Born Againa of water and of Spirit -John 3:1-8

  • Ricky, I am not here to judge, I am no different than any other person. So do not turn this into judgement, use this as advice. God calls us to be servants, not dividers. First off, you can be baptized and still loose your salvation, so Baptize alone doesn't save, only Jesus Saves! water is a symbol of testimony of denying ourselves and accepting the Lord's suffering. God states everyone has different gifts, some will speak in tongues,some will be teachers, etc 1 Corinthians 12 "continued"
