yeh tht was very unfortunate for our 2Ws... always poor pakistani fielding, most of their matches played on the dead batsmen friendly subcontinent soil, if abroad then such umpiring blunders against them and then politics as well.... all these must have cost them around 50 wickets each :( ... i hate it when they are compared to players like mcgrath bcuz he had the previlege to play most of his cricket on aussies soil which is too bowler friendly

I'm very glad that the quality of umpiring has improved substantially in the last 25 years or so. While the umpires of the 90s made some obviously blatant errors (such as this one), the standard of umpiring in 80s and before neutral umpires (for Tests) was beyond ridiculous. This is one area where, dare I say, New Zealand have perhaps the worst reputation among all Test playing nations.
