  • ta mudo ////??

  • @sacura48

In these videos I don't talk because... in my opinion it isn't really needed and English isn't my first language...

  • ta mudo nao sem som algum?

  • i tried to share your wesomeness with my friend but i guess to much is too much....furchk too many postings

  • @tonyajburch

The generousity of your words and intentions just rewards me more than I can say!

Origami may seems too difficult, at first... also, sometimes it's a matter of finding the right model for the right person at the right time, making he-she think "I just *need* to try that... now!"

I really, really thank you for your enthusiasm and passion!

    :-)

  • muito ruinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

  • @Dany44136

    "Ruin"?

  • that is gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • @jhonybam

The best think I can wish you is to mature enough, one day, to realize how senseless and poor this comment of yours is.

Maybe you don't realize, right now, that origami isn't something for women or girls.

Origami is a form of art, through which you express and emulate the beauty within this world!

Can't you get the beauty in a crane, real of made of paper?

I'm really sorry for you, if that's the case.

As I said, I wish you to be able to perceive all of that, one day.

  • you got this from that rob guy

  • @wertastic

    I invite you to Google:

    Thousand_origami_cranes

and check out the first result (it's a wikipedia link).

You'll find out that this origami model is traditional, and at least a couple of centuries old.

Hence, I didn't got this from Rob, as much as he didn't got this from me.

  • @danbergam Hence, I didn't GET this from Rob, as much as he didn't GET this from me.

  • @puffle2love1

Sometimes, my inner English translator doesn't work... and sometimes I setup a sentence in a certain way, then I change my mind and the sentence too, but I forget to vary the verbs accordingly...

  • @danbergam Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t realize. Sometimes I get really annoyed about things that don’t really matter...I’m trying meditation to change that though.

  • @puffle2love1

Don't worry, your correction is more than right!

And, you were and are polite, which is great.

Believe me, there are people, as some comments demonstrate, that would need meditation and calmness waaaay more than you!

    Thank you!

    :-)

  • @danbergam Lol, I’ll say. Some of the comments on YouTube are brutal! And thanks, you’re very polite too. :)

  • @puffle2love1

    You're so welcome!

  • Dear danbergam I have to make 60 cranes for charity and I'm terrified to mess up or not to be done in time. Please wish me luck! -yona ps. Your videos are awesome!! :P

  • @yona9rues

Dear yona, first of all let me apologize for having seen this only now (where I am, now, it's 10AM)... but I wish you all the best for your mission: really, what you're doing is a great thing! May you succeed, may you not mess up anything (but, old latins used to say - repeating helps -) and get the work finished in time! I'm sure it's ending or it already ended like that!

Thank you for your very kind words and for putting a smile on my face and some warmth in my heart!

    :-)

  • @yona9rues

60? Go for a thousand to get a wish, that's what I heard.

  • if anyone has trouble just perfecting their cranes, like this stats and i'll make a demo on common mistakes i've done. i just completed 1000 cranes so from the first 3 folds i know exactly where each part of the crane is. just like and possibly comment on a problem you have and i'll show you how to fix it :)

  • @TasteOfAugust

I wonder when did my videos turn into an advertising space for your vidoes...

I mean, at least you could have commented on mine, before advertising yours.

    :-\

  • @danbergam hey no hard feelings, you were the one who got me into cranes. back in january, i believe i did comment when i first started folding, but i'm just saying you make great videos on how to fold it and i might try to make videos if people need extra help. i'm really sorry if i offended you. i didn't mean it like that :/

  • @TasteOfAugust

No hard feelings from me too. And you didn't offend me. Any new tutorialist is welcome, there's place for all. It's just that it's hard to build a reputation by working hard... and I think that it's a little too easy to direct people visiting my videos so that they visit yours.

My advice is: if you feel like making origami tutorials simply do them, by taking care of each single detail.

Trust me: their quality will be the best possible advertisement and people will come!

    ^_^

  • @danbergam k thanks! :)

  • sadako and the thousand paper cranes ! :D by the way, THANK YOU! :)

  • @PeanutButterWithEs

Definitely, the story of Sadako and her dream will not be forgotten! :'-)

Thanks *to you*, for being so kind!

    :-D

  • doing this to my girlfriend will get me some sex?

  • @guillermo8706

"To love is to give, without waiting anything in return".

  • @danbergam If only that were true, sadly people don't seem to work that way...

  • @kahlan1amnell

It's true, many seem not to work in that way... but I want to hope that, if we do our best to open their minds and hearts, they'll find out what Love is!

    :-)

  • hablan español?

  • @nicolaxo222

I don't know much more than "buenos dias" and "muchas gracias"...

    ^_^

  • @danbergam entonces... buenos días y muchas gracias por subir este vídeo!! :D

thank you so much for sharing this video!!

i'm spanish but i prefere speak english

  • @alberlos

Many thanks to you, for your kindness and for your amazing support!

    :-D

  • I wasn't quite satisfied when you didn't start out with a normal square piece of paper.

  • @bcbooca

Sorry about it, but there's a reason for my choice.

Back in those days, YT did put a limit to the max length of a video... 10 minutes, actually.

Now, because many models include a few stages (let's say: preliminary base, crane base, crane itself) and lots of steps... doing everything in 10 minutes would have made these tuts too fast for to be followed by everybody, beginners included.

    Modularity was my choice.

You may find the links to the previous parts in the description.

    :-)

  • @1234567891010534

No preocupe, mi amigo, días a veces malos suceden. Su último comentario le honora. :-)

  • @danbergam

muchas gracias usted parece un buen hombre lo felicito!!

  • @1234567891010534

    Muchas gracias usted!

    :-)

  • why put them in lessons? just make individual videos of how to make stuff...

  • @ShadowAssassin887

When I began these tuts, videos' max length was 10 minutes: showing the whole process from the plain square to the finished figure'd forced me to rush, making my instructions useless for beginners.

Doing - let's say - the crane base by itself gave me the chance to use at its best the 10 minutes at my disposal, in order to make it (and each step) as clearer as possible.

That's my humble opinion, by the way, and I perfectly realize that each one of us has its own ones.

    ^_^

  • @danbergam Oh :o well you were nice about it :D

  • @ShadowAssassin887

    You're so kind!

    :-D

  • @danbergam Your are to! :D <3 keep up the videos:)

    -Justin

  • @ShadowAssassin887

Hehe, I'm keeping it up, indeed! :-D

For example, my latest tutorial is an eagle/bat I personally designed!

    ^_^

  • what the fudge am I watching?? I thought this was an origami video, not some base and stuff! AGHCK!!

  • @EpicWolfCutie

The crane base is an origami figure: it can be made by following lesson #1 and then lesson #10, as the beginning subtitles say... and the links to those parts are in the description.

  • @danbergam Wait, but why do you need 10 episodes JUST to make an origami base?

  • @EpicWolfCutie #1: Preliminary base #2: flapping bird (needs #1) #3: frog base (needs #1) #4: iris flower (needs #3) #5: heart (needs #1) #6: frog (needs #3) #7,#8,#9: a base, a star, a pegasus, one needing the previous (removed) #10: crane base (needs #1) #11: crane (needs #10) Each time I introduced a base, a figure needing that base followed. Anyway, the videos needed are immediately accessible in the description: #10 or #50 doesn't really make much difference, imho...
  • @danbergam ookkkaayy...????

  • tenesque ponerlo desde el principio

  • @bfcg123

    [Automatic translation]

    0:38 un subtítulo dice

    "Basa Grúa

    (Vea lecciones #1, #10)"

    ^_^

  • Hello, everybody!

I would be happy to know your opinion about this video... just don't be shy!

  • @KiwiEmu000

Your kindness is even more cool!

    Thank you so much!

Thanks to you for your very kind words!

  • DAMN THESE ADVERTISMENTS

  • @LemonHead414

Please calm down, there's no need to act like that.

Maybe you haven't noticed that you can close them.

  • @Randomness562

Right below the player there's the first line of description, with a double arrow pointing down: click on that double arrow and in the whole description you will find those two links!

    ^_^

  • fuck you .. you didnt show me how to do the first thing idiots

  • @natnik100

    At 0:38 a subtitle says

    "Crane base

    (See lessons #1, #10)"

and in the description you may find the links to those previous parts.

You should blame yourself for not paying attention to everything's needed, before rudely and senselessly insulting me like that and making a fool of yourself!

  • es una mie***

  • @rodrigo14125

I'm glad to have been able to help!

Many, many thanks to you, for your kindness!

    :-)

  • could you do it even more slow? :O

  • @papartynas96

Hmm, maybe I could, one of these days... anyway, I thing this tutorial is already quite slow!

If you're having some troubles following it, you can always press the pause button on the player, in order to take all the time you need to make a step before going on with the following one; also, a good trick could be to first watch more than once a step, in order to understand it and memorize it, and only then to apply it on your piece of paper!

    Hope this helps!

    ^_^

  • If someone likes to make a crane with a 3D-body try this:

    - Don't fold the wings (Step#18)

    - Instead hold both wings and pull them apart.

Then form the wings how you want them.

    Kind regards, DiLa. :)

  • I didn't know this trick: thank you for sharing with all of us!

    Kind regards

    Daniele

  • You're welcome. :)

(I was searching for an Origami-wallpaper and then I saw a picture of such a crane so i tried a little and found out how it works. I'm happy that i can tell it other people who like doing origami. ^^)

  • ^_^

  • wow origami is easier than i thought. thank you for the free tutorials

  • Well, there are many very complicated origami designs... but, luckily, there also are many ones good for all the possible skills levels!

    You're welcome!

    ^_^

  • ur great man and too kind

  • @999rahim

*You* are very kind as well!

Thank you, for putting a smile on my face!

    :-)

  • @danbergam thanx ! can i be ur friend cuz its hard to find friends like u

  • @999rahim

Thank you very much... it's my pleasure and honor to have a kind human being like you as a friend!

    ^_^

  • I couldn't help but notice that the crane has a tendency to tip over onto it's face. The center of mass is not centered properly. I figured that a possible solution is to turn the tail into a standard. You'll have the alter the angle of the tail a bit (point it higher up) and flatten it out a bit. If he crane still falls over, the wings can be bent back just a bit to shift the center of mass onto the tail. This way the crane will stay in a posture suggesting it's about to fly off into the air.

  • Respect to you, for such a smart and polite observation!

    Thank you for sharing!

    ^_^

  • I didn't like how quiet the video was, but the tut itself really helped, I got a crane! Thanks x3

  • About the quietness of the video... well, you're always and obviously free to listen to whatever music or sounds you prefer, while watching my tutorials and/or doing an origami model.

    I'm glad for your satisfaction!

  • I know, it just seemed so strange to go from a very loud video to your quiet tutorial XD I don't mean to bother you & thanks for replying!

My desk is covered in cranes now Xp

  • I think silence it's good... especially in a world like this, where every single moment is filled of sounds and noises!

Naah, you didn't bother me at all! ^_^

    Hehe, origami is quite infective!

    ;-)

  • Only 983 Cranes Left To Go..... Im Tired GoodNight!

  • I admire your will! I'm sure that, a crane at a time, you'll succeed!

    :-)

    P.S.

    Good night... and good day!

  • DID YOUR WISH COME TRUE

  • thanx you for posting this video =)

  • Thanks to you, for being able to say - thank you -!

    :-)

  • Made my first one! :D Now Only 999 more cranes to go!

  • I wish you to succeed! ^_^

  • Thank You so much! I've wanted to do this for so long C:

  • Thanks to you in return... and congratulations: you've done it with your own will, patience and hands!

    :-)

  • made my first crane, thanks :)

  • Thanks to you for letting me know: to have a finished origami figure you just made all by yourself is always a great satisfaction... kinda magic, somehow!

    ^_^

  • your suppoused to pull the wings apart at the end

  • Well, it seems to me that, in effects, at the end they are pulled apart.

  • Wow, thanks so much! I just made my first crane. ^^

  • Thanks to you for stopping by, and... congratulations! ^_^

  • Thanks

  • You're welcome... and thanks to you, for your kindness!

  • u r awsome

  • Thank you very, very much, your feedback is just amazing!

  • Well, it took me most of the evening, but I finally got it! With a little patience and the help of your tutorials, I got myself a crane :-) I think tomorrow I'll go buy some proper origami paper and keep building; this is one skill I don't want to have to relearn! Thanks for your help, and nicely done!

  • Thanks to you, for such great words!

That's right, it's all a matter of patience and will... and, well, if the instructions are clear it helps! ;-)

    Happy folding! ^_^

  • Thank you very much , author. Sometimes it is hard to do something, but if you have a wish, you can do it sucesfully.. Thanks

  • That's so true, really.

To wish it is the first thing needed for to make it.

    That's so true.

    Thanks to you!!!

    :-)

  • Hi i messed up my friends now she is really mad at me and i can't understand your way helppppppppp

  • First of all, I'm sorry for what's going on between you and your friends: I can't do much about that.

About my tutorial: what step can't you understand?

  • for some reason this video makes me think of "Daft Hands", if you haven't seen it, just search for it and watch, it's awesome.

    Good video, thanks man!

  • Oh, I have seen it, when it came out!

Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment!

  • Hmm, I don't know why...

what I know is that origami is something where a little imprecision now may turn out in a big imprecision at a later stage.

  • thanks it's very easy ^^

  • Thanks to you, for having kindly let me know your appreciation!

    ^_^

  • ur tutorials r gr8, def the easiest to follow... ive managed to make all the folds but not so good yet, ill keep trying ;)

  • Oh, I'm sure that with the next tries the result will get better and better!

Thank you so much for your kindness, I'll do my best for to keep up the quality and the easiness!

    ^_^

  • u know how to make a cherry blossom? tutorial?

  • I have the instructions for it and I've also tried, a while ago... but it's too hard for my skills and the result is not that good...

    :-\

  • haha, i guess is too hard for me too then... too bad, but at least i can do the crane now ;)

  • By the way, let's not despair: it may happen that someone comes out with an easier tutorial... or, that we improve in our origami skills!

    ^_^

  • KONNICHUWA DANBERGAM SAN!

hola! (wait thats spanish!) its moi again (and thats french -.-)

Your figures look...pefecto! (not sure what language or origin that is -.-) compared to mine!

Is it a matter of practice?

Origami is one of my hobbys! (now) thanks to you and your videos. Yours actually explains stuff!

I sometimes go onto other peoples and their hand covers the figure 0.0 sso i cant see what they are doing!

Thanks to you i can do everything i can do now =D

  • Part 1

    Konnichiwa, amazing fromagefreya!

[Oh my, it's great (and funny!) to talk 1000 different languages in one sentence!]

Ciao! (and that's italian!) Dank u (in dutch!) pour tous ton merveilleux commentaires (a bit of french too, hehe!)!

Oh, let me grant you that my figures are very far from perfection: first, because my printer used to print squares that weren't *exactly* squared... and, most of all, because I tend to rush (shame on me)... origami requires calmness and *precision*!

  • Part 2

The more you try to be precise while doing each single fold, the more the final figure'll look good!

I'm so glad to have had a little part in making of origami a new hobby of yours: it just takes a piece of paper and you can see almost everything come out from your own hands... it's like magic, somehow: a precious thing, I think!

    Thank you for your great words, but I still need practice for to make clearer tutorials... ^_^;;

Thanks to you, your words have put a big smile on my face!

  • hi again danbergam =)

    another excellent video ;)

i just have a few questions, if you could answer..

    1) are you going to post more videos on new origami figures?

    2) what book did you get these origami figures from? i mean, this style, with the preliminary base, crane base, and all that stuff. i thank you for reading my comment and congratulate you on your videos ;)

  • It's me that I thank you, for leaving me such a kind comment!

    ^_^

    About your questions:

    1) I'll post more tuts, but origami is just one of my many passions & interests: for ex., I have original music & guitar playing vids, a short movie too!

    2) Most of these figures are traditional ones: imho it's the only reasonable way to teach/learn a figure, because it makes a bit easier to remember everything.

A book using this method, the one I own, is:

"Modern origami" by Dr. James Minoru Sakoda

  • my other bird dosent flap:'(

  • If you want, search in the comments for that video the three-four tricks I usually give for to make it fly... or, eventually, comment it and I'll reply with those tricks.

I can't post them here, on a different video, it would generate some misunderstandings...

  • hmm, wish come true... I'll be needing more paper

  • I wish you good luck, in case you'll try it!

I think it's possible, to make 1000 of these... it takes patience... and a lot of a paper, for sure!

  • very good

  • Thank you very much!

  • it doesn't flap??????????????

  • Well, this one is not supposed to flap its wings.

But I have another tutorial entitled "The flapping bird" that does.

  • If I've correctly understood (don't know Spanish language and the automatic translator I use didn't help), your crane results being a little different, even if you have checked each single step... it may happen: just check the previous parts as well... but I'm sure that next time you'll be satisfied with the result!

    ^_^

I'm learning from "Modern origami" by Dr. James Sakoda... and from Internet and YouTube!

    Thank you!

  • =O I was a huge epic failure when it came to origami. : D And now I can make them! Thank you for teaching me! ^^ I'm going to make a 1000 of them.

  • What a great thing, I'm really glad!

May you succeed in this quest... and may the Lord give you peace and happiness!

    ^_^

  • I always considered Origami to be really interesting but unreachable and impossible to do for me...but with your tutorial videos you proofed me wrong =)

You definately did an awesome job...

Thank you so much for your videos and for teaching me Origami =)

  • Comments like this always make me very, very happy!

Thanks to you, for having given me this smile on my face!

    :-)

  • hay q tener paciencia nomas!!!!!

    bueno el video capo!

    =)

  • Muchas gracias! ^_^

  • i like your works. you make possible unpossibles things. thanks. :)

  • You're very, very kind... thanks *to you*! ^_^

  • Holy wow, thanks man! I've wanted to learn Origami for such a long time, but I only knew really simple ones, but these tutorials are improving my skill every time I watch them =D!

  • Thanks to *you*!!!

I consider myself an origami newbie... and I've always been wanting, from the beginning of this amazing YT experience, to make tutorials that could actually, effectively help... it's always great to read that someone has learned from them: words like yours are just rewarding, a big, priceless feedback!

    Thank you!

    Have a great everything!

Oh, and... more origami tutorials will come!

    ^_^

  • Oh my goood!!!

    I am so happy now!!

thank you veryyyyy muuuuchh!!! *happy happy*

    woa really your talented man!!

    thank's!!

I have made 3 of your Origami, ahhh, really good explainations!

    *hug*

  • ...and if you're happy, me I'm happy as well!

It's always great to know that someone made one of these origami figures by following my tutorials... and it's even better to know to have been able to give a smile to a person in this world!

That's why I thank *you* very much, for your kind words and for the smile you've given to me in return!

    Have a great everything!

    *hugs in return*

  • finally i found what i was looking for. this is great!

  • :-D

Thank you so much, your words are a great reward to me!

    Happy folding!

    :-D

  • FUCKER

  • When you use rude words, you automatically lose the fight, no matter how good your reasons (eventually) were/are.

Also, if you go around in your life randomly spreading rudeness, hate and disrespect towards the others... what do you think you'll receive? Kindness, love and respect?

"As you sow so shall you reap"

    Meaning:

Your deeds, good or bad, will repay you in kind.

    Origin:

From the Bible, Galatians VI (King James Version):

Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

    Have a good day.

  • Thank you. This is the only video tutorial which makes the folds clear enough for a newbie such as myself.
