Probablt problems with your drivers. Have you tried with either newer or older drivers to your GPU? If you're using the latest drivers, try installing older ones, that often helps. But if you're using an outdated version, update!
@Tornapartband the problem is i have the game about 2 years now i think and i tried it multiple times wit my gforce 7600 gT with the Geforce 9800GTX and with my new one i tried it with the newest drivers with every GPU but the 7600 shoul be old enough and the two years old 9800 to so i dont think thats the problem .... pherhaps the game want to tell me i should watch the lp and dont try playing it
@MrMigueis Consider also that Venetica had a fraction of the budget Oblivion had, and that DTP Entertainment is one of Germany's leading game publishers, not one of the world's publishers. For it's money, it is a good game, and I liked it's combat system based on dodging and blocking. It was simple and effective. Besides, Venetica is NOT open world and you ONLY control Scarlett.
Of all the games I've ever played, this is probably the worst one (well, one of them). I personally wouldn't recommend it to anyone, it's unfinished and will stay that way.

@angel89legna And a great comment from you... Shouldn't you play the game first and THEN comment on the AI? I can assure you that not all the opponents stand in front of you and wait to be killed. Besides, this is at the beginning of the game, consider it a training mission.
@angel89legna Is more that at this point in the game you meet easy opponents (this is at the begining of the adventure). Later on, some opponents are really annoying with their shield block. Also, weapons are used to counter other weapons... Like using an axe or mallet will do more damage and break through an opponent's sword block, thought will be slower to swing. Swords have 7 hit combos, while spear and shield will only do 5, and axes only 3. Well, maybe you'll give it a try...
Certainly not a top-notch game, but it's not terrible. Even if the block system is not the best atleast this game allows you to block, (Damn you Dragon Age)

You cannot record accurate FPS with a program due to various factors being involved that don't allow them to so. Just because a program records a game at 120 FPS doesn't mean that's what it's actually running at. All games run at 60 fps regardless of what the program says.

So the incident that happened with everyone's Graphics cards melting and getting fried because Blizzard did not lock the FPS in Star Craft II didn't happen? People had thier GTX 480's and 520's melted due to that.Google the issue and go onto Blizzards Forums and it's all over the place

@MPC4Utube mind you blizzard stated that the melting happened due to INSUFFICIENT COOLING on the cards.I use 2xHD6870 in crossfire(aircooled) and i never had problems with the high framerates in SC2. Heck had games that had cinematics running in the high 4000fps(according to fraps)
GPU's Frying due to heat is badly made cards.most cards have a build in shutdown code when it hits a certain level of heat

I hope this steakhead is using an Nvidia card because if they aren't, they aren't running the game at max. Also the uploader makes a comment about the game running at 60all games are locked in at an FPS of 60 fps without fraps like he is able to get more FPS somehow.
The only way to get a higher FPS is to decrypt the entrie game and reprogram it to a higher FPS. I love how people say they are getting over 100 FPS not realizing an FPS that high would actually melt/fry the GPU.

It's a budget game !!! People need to take this in consideration , I paid 10 bucks for it and I personally feel it was worth what I paid for. It was made by a very small developer so of course it's not going to be as epic as "Fable"...
I play both pc console, just played through the witcher on pc. Great game. Also just finish dragon age the 15th playthrough on ps3. Both has plus and minuses. Pc takes the cake with mods and cheats. Console are just ready to play an auto upgrade on most features. Real time games and movement I go console stategy and sims I go pc. Definitely console as far as budget.
What difficulty was this game played on? Looks like the game is just starting and these guys are blocking and parrying like crazy. Also that first mini boss took like 30 hits to take down! I am interested in this game for the PS3(letting loose the obligatory console bashers from their cages) but if it is going to be this difficult at the beginning of the game, I don't even wanna think about later on in the game when the real challenge begins!
My verdict: The developers could've put more content into the game. The combat doesn't seem very fluent and seems rather repetitive. Dode roll, block, dodge again and loot the bodies. The character pop in and lack of NPC interaction in town gives the game a lack of feeling. It might be a fun play through, but certainly isn't a buy for me. At the most, I'd say rent it. :D

while the Exploration is ok and Our Heroine, Scarlett is Modestly Hot, it bothers me that the Voice Acting is Mediocre and Character and Landscape Graphics could have been better,
In conclusion, it's sort of a mix between Elder Scrolls and The Bards Tale and while it's not that good, It's at least not the Worst game out there, although you will need an aquired taste for this sort of gameing.

It's a budget game !!! People need to take this in consideration , I paid 10 bucks for it and I personally feel it was worth what I paid for. It was made by a very small developer so of course it's not going to be as epic as "Fable"...

I play both pc console, just played through the witcher on pc. Great game. Also just finish dragon age the 15th playthrough on ps3. Both has plus and minuses. Pc takes the cake with mods and cheats. Console are just ready to play an auto upgrade on most features. Real time games and movement I go console stategy and sims I go pc. Definitely console as far as budget.

What difficulty was this game played on? Looks like the game is just starting and these guys are blocking and parrying like crazy. Also that first mini boss took like 30 hits to take down! I am interested in this game for the PS3(letting loose the obligatory console bashers from their cages) but if it is going to be this difficult at the beginning of the game, I don't even wanna think about later on in the game when the real challenge begins!

My verdict: The developers could've put more content into the game. The combat doesn't seem very fluent and seems rather repetitive. Dode roll, block, dodge again and loot the bodies. The character pop in and lack of NPC interaction in town gives the game a lack of feeling. It might be a fun play through, but certainly isn't a buy for me. At the most, I'd say rent it. :D

I would consider it in a sense; Average.
while the Exploration is ok and Our Heroine, Scarlett is Modestly Hot, it bothers me that the Voice Acting is Mediocre and Character and Landscape Graphics could have been better,
In conclusion, it's sort of a mix between Elder Scrolls and The Bards Tale and while it's not that good, It's at least not the Worst game out there, although you will need an aquired taste for this sort of gameing.
