  • How did you do that wiring?

  • Looks great! I recently just got my htpc set up working and couldnt get that audio pass through working on my nvidia card -_- MAJOR pain

  • What model integra is that?

  • Which media Center is this? looks too good to be WMC...

  • That big tv those litle speakers :D

  • hi, it looks fine, i have 2 questions:

    - what media center are you using?

    - do you use a remote control? if so, what kind of control do you use

  • Integra's are really nice 50.2 is next for me

  • THE ONLY TRU HD IS BLURAY ,,NOT STREAMING

  • @cactuskid007 not true. with high enough internet speeds, one can easily stream a compressed HD video.

  • @flyboy21141 still not as good "FACT"

  • were do you get your videos from

  • very nice setup, could you tell us your total cost for the system? Im thinking of doing somthing similar, if I can get my hands on a InfiniTV4 card.

  • @ranagill

I had a hard drive laying around but you can build this for sub 500 bucks.

  • @kkeithan - have you added a blu-ray drive yet? does it work fine without a separate video card? That is the same set up I'm looking forward to build with a blu-ray drive, but that is my only hesitation, unable to determine if 1080p playback will lag?

  • @polyglot1234

Yep, it works great without a video card. I love this setup, work great! I never needed a bluray drive, just a DVD drive. 1080p works with no issues, you will be fine.

  • @polyglot1234

No Bluray drive yet. Maybe I will order one for Christmas. I am streaming 1080p content from the drobo in my basement which has no lag what so ever.

  • do u play your Wii and if so what's your Wii number and do u got mario kart?

  • usb3.0 with an i3,... what a waste

  • @zaknanny what are you talking about? usb 3.0 motherboards are only 20 dollar more.

  • @zaknanny, why is that a waste, usb 3.0 is faster for backing up, doesn't matter wich cpu.. all those noobs on youtube, who don't know anything about pcs.

  • @zaknanny

Not sure why you think this is a waste. Can you explain?

I'm using 1Gb ethernet to stream my movies to the HTPC and don't have any current plans on using USB3, but I am glad it was included. The i3 should be plenty fast enough to use USB3...

  • @kkeithan

    Nice tv - i also have a Pioneer G9. It's awesome!

And i also have the same setup. I'm running Ubuntu, but it's too hard to get to function without getting the hands dirty in a terminal. Are you using Windows Media Center? - i'm at the brink of going back to Windows..

  • @Anima87 Get a Mac with Plex.

  • @Pepsiaddicto ROFL, why get an overpriced piece of kit when i have something that works great? - Installing Windows and getting it all to work took 1 hour.

  • @Pepsiaddicto MAC OS??? NEVER IN MY LIFE

  • What kind of movie files are you running? Also do you have to use any codec pack to pass the dolby/true hd sound to your receiver?

  • @smoothlarryhughes

I can play any file format but the TrueHD file was .m2ts extension and the DTSMA was .mkv.

I run the Shark007 codec pack for win7.

  • Sweet Set Up!

  • @cyborg251

    Thanks!
