dan is using an esp ex 400 model. with a emg 81 and 85 pickups. and push pull coil tap... and his guitar isnt painted, its tape neon green all around. you guys should check out my channel ive made an exact replica to his neon pink and green stripped esp guitar. the one he uses live for bleeding masscara.

u like syn better. hes melodic and he was a jazz player. jazz and classical are the hardest genres on guitar, no contest. dont even try to say rock or metal. dan still kicks ass tho.

We got their autographs and we almost got to meet Alex too but neither of us were thinking at the time and we didn't realize who it was until he was gone

I am sorry but I cannot stand Synyster Gates, or however you spell his name. He has the same blank look on his face all the time. He shows no emotion, it's like he has this "I just pumped the neighbors cat" look on his face. Plus, he plays the same shit for every solo. Watch them, they are all the same, no change. Plus, he can't sweep pick for shit. Yes, he is better than Zacky, but Syn had formal training, Zac didn't. They both blow ass in my book. Sorry Folks. Dan is great though.

Usually artists improvise their live solos. Sometimes it's better to do so...it can get boring hearing the same exact solo over and over and over.

Personally, I do better solos improvising than when I write them manually XP

Dude, how can you say Syn is better? Syn is sloppy as hell, unmelodic, and ultimately a boring guitarist. Also, his only "cool" thing are dive bombs, which get boring after one album. Dan on the other hand does tapping AND dive bombs.
