Hey Bill, listened to your last CD, comment will be given next time I run into you.
Stay cool, glad your mom and dad are ok as far as I know. Wally is still wally culp and I am still me and you are still Bill........stay cool Bill and I am thinking your son is going to be a hockey star. By the way, I actually had some of my math crap published and a few atta boys given to me. I'm wondering if you even see this comment? If you do, send me an e-mail and I'll return the favor for your CD gift
Perhaps if those who own the rights would publish the works they are holding there wouldn't be a reason to bootleg. Boot legging shows that there is unsatisfied demand and it is up to the producers and creators to get stuff available.
I grew up playing baseball with Billy and Lenny. Lived just up the street. I had guitar lessons when I was 12, Billy was 15 then and I remember he was enamored with my guitar. I always thought of him as a pretty good short stop and baseball player. I did catch him once at the Lung Fung. Great guy all around. - Roger Snyder
Loved this Portland band, this song and this scene. So sorry to lose BR&UG too soon -- would have been MTV faves. Thanks for posting this time capsule gem!
OMG ... so happy to see this. I spent many wonderful nights in the early 80s listening to Billy Rancher! Such a shame to lose such a rock star just when he was about to make it.
David Bowie and The Rolling Stones rolled into one, but with a better sense of humor. Great stuff, sad story - Rancher succumbed to lymphoma just after signing a major label deal. Post more of these.
so many flashbacks with that vid...thanks! i'd love to get a hold of David Jester's vids...asked him several times and he always says 'no problem' but still no vids. again, thanks!

Goddess a Go-Go.
Along with Jon Koonce, the most charismatic front man in Portland music.
Left a boring Huey Lewis concert in 1984 to catch these guys at Lung Fung.

Chances are pretty good that I'm somewhere in that crowd of dancers; I seldom missed one of Billy's shows back in the day. Thanks for sharing this.
