@dawarror this series was originally supposed to be PART of resident evil... but they changed it because it didnt fit right with the way they wanted RE to turn out. So, having connections between the two isnt uncommon

They're just slightly changed... like how Dante leaves the island in an airplane with Trish while Leon leaves on a jetski with big mouth LOL
