I have to agree with the thumbed up statements. I have an interest in dances tied to culture and religions and that express the dancer. These dancers look confused and scared. The one keeps checking to see what the other is doing and the audience is jumping around like it's the first time they ever saw a young girl show her midrift, which seems to be the only reason they are interested in what is on display. I think the girls have potential, but they need better outlets than this stage.

I can totally tell that they are not hula dancing, because my old friend can do way better than that crap. They only did that to impress the guys or something. Um, sorry but i do dance hula, and have for years. I have also started tahitian, and there is a lot wrong with this performance. They were wearing tahitian costumes, had some tahitian hip movements, and some hula hand movements that didn't match the song. Remeber, when you call this hula, you are insulting a culture. This song was written for the last king of hawai'i and has certain movements that go with it. This is not true hula. And i respect those who point it out.

the moves in some parts were ok (but i havent seen very many perfesonal hula dancers x_x) it didnt seem like u practiced a whole lot and it had no feeling to it u just did the moves.

And i would say i do know a lot on the subject, seeing as i am Hawiian and have danced hula since i was a little girl. But whatever. I don't need to prove anything to you. I'll let it go.

actually there shouldnt be that much curve because of the side muscals you have to use because it more of hip and side muscal movment in hawaiian dancing

the moves in some parts were ok (but i havent seen very many perfesonal hula dancers x_x) it didnt seem like u practiced a whole lot and it had no feeling to it u just did the moves.

@rickyfan3956 i agree with you .. this is an insult my mum was standing behind me watching it and was critisising how bad it was and usualy wen i dance the hula and other pacific islander dances the only thing shes telling me to do is smile but thats it .. lol wen watching this she had soo many criticisations that i stoped counting at 23 and thats alot for just one dance so the only thing i have to say to these girls is lean the dance properly or dont dance it at all
