Never get tired of this ad. My favorite line is "Just let me move this..." -- I mean, why did I put this chair here anyway? It's just blocking your access to the spot!
The guy doing the shoveling is comedian Tony V. He was on WROR's "Loren & Wally" morning show explaining how it really did start snowing while they were filming it, and the California-based director thought the shot was ruined.
We stop whatever we are doing to watch this commercial. "Watch ya bumpa" has become a catch phrase. Whoever the ad agency is, they should win a prize for this one and the unwanted Red Sox ticket ad.
If you're not from here, you may not realize how wicked funny this bit is. Hint: The shovelling guy's reply is so totally, hysterically NOT BOSTON.
Man... you scarf somebody's parking spot that they've shovelled out (and blocked with a lawn chair, garbage can, whatever), and guess what pal-- you're gonna be wishing you'd left your car at home, and taken a cab or the T. We take our parking spots VERY seriously.
First time time I saw this, I fell over rollin on the floor. EXCELLENT
your comment's hilarious!!PRFAHAHAHAHA!!!i'm so glad i found this video!! i laugh like crazy everytime i see the commercial! Boston ure my HOME! god i love this city!! lol

I drive through South Boston all the time and this commercial is so hilarious. This is something that only Bostonians can truly understand. :-)

haha, I love Boston, the police confiscated like 220 place holders the other day.
Only people from Boston and some other huge cities in the north will understand this.

That's why it's easier just to steal cones. This way no money lost.
