It's not surprising that they used the same engine since it can take long for that to come out (for example Half life lol) but hopefully they do come out with a better one next time around so they can actually make the game seem new and not just a couple of new guns, perks, and killstreaks. Can't wait for white ops and mw4! lol

A lot of my friends have become a Battlefield fanatic...but for me it does not matter they are both really good and awesome games and I am REALLY looking forward for this game it will be very very good!

to me, MW3 is more of an arcade shooter, more for people who like to have fun with the game, whilst BF3 is about strategy and co-operation, for people who want a challenge. with that said, shut your mouths, grab a controller and enjoy yourself.
i really do think that bf3 has something on this game. black ops= utter shite. modern warfare 2=utter shite. cod4 and waw are the only enjoybale classic cods!
but what must be said, is that cod4 will NEVER be beaten. cod4 pc is just a one of a kind.

I dont think mw3 will be as great as bf3, partially because the battlefield storyline is brand-new whereas mw3 is just another sequel (its like the transformers movies - by the 3rd you're pretty much over it).
Another reason is that bf3 is made for a PC audience compared to mw3's Xbox 360 audience (at least the majority).
One final thing is the graphics - they're pretty close, but mw3 is a little behind as their dark environment doesn't really show off their graphics in comparison to bf3.
Just saying, what's the point of jumping out of the car AFTER it went over the cliff? Hell still die anyway unless he has a parachute or somehow grabs a helicopter and survives XD

@AwesomeInDaHouse What I meant by new multiplayer system was the improvement they've made to balance multiplayer gameplay (weapon proficiencies, strike packages, and yeah, maps and weapons).
As for the engine, MW2 ran on I.W.4.0, whereas MW3 will run off of I.W.5.0, which apparently has better streaming capabilities and overhauled audio and graphics and larger regions, not stuff that can just be patched into I.W.4.0. That's what I understand, anyway.

I really love CoD, even though its always pretty much the samethings with better graphics and different features. Its like madden or any sports game, its the same thing yearly, but every one still buys it. And then people complain and say its aweful, only to buy it again the next year.
The thing with Call of Duty is, the campaign's only fun for the first playthrough, because of all the surprises you don't expect the first time around.

Yes Battlefield n00bs, we know. Battlefield 3's gameplay is as good as MW3's trailer. You can go away now. Besides, if BF3 is so great, why are you wasting time trolling on a bunch of MW3 videos and spaming the dislike bar, when you could be playing your beloved BF3?
And to those who say this is the same as MW2, let's think about that. New campaign? Check. New multiplayer system? Check. Updated engine? Check. It's a new game.
Enjoy MW3 for what it is, not what it isn't.

@AwesomeInDaHouse What I meant by new multiplayer system was the improvement they've made to balance multiplayer gameplay (weapon proficiencies, strike packages, and yeah, maps and weapons).
As for the engine, MW2 ran on I.W.4.0, whereas MW3 will run off of I.W.5.0, which apparently has better streaming capabilities and overhauled audio and graphics and larger regions, not stuff that can just be patched into I.W.4.0. That's what I understand, anyway.
