I don't think it's that hard to get into. It's very similar to Wolfestein Enemy Territory, and that's a free game. Everyone is willing to try a game that's free, and from there it's not that much of a step further buying this.

@BDNeon Its similar to Wolf ET but even that had a performance curve. The problem is not so much the complexity of the game but the general gaming population who have grown up on mindless twitch shooters (aka CS)

We'll see. Brink is the successor to this game and it looks as if it will be even more complicated controls wise as it'll be a mash between mirror's edge and Enemy territory.

certainly. its still a good game. not sure about consoles as the 10 bucks comment was regards to the PC version. someone did mention that he got it at Target and office max some time back at that price.

Personally, I ain't american. it costed like 60 bucks where I live (approximately 40 USD)

the players who play ETQW tend to be hardcore lol. often, you see the same people pretty often as its quite a hard game to take up.

just point it each time you need another place to be blowed....so enemys will not get - where is your position.

quick tip. you dont have to kep the fire button down when free targeting just click once and wait-makes it harder for the enemy to trace you. although if the target is moving it is a good idea to keep the button down and follow them

that works if say the guy is prone or standing still but i don't really trust the mortar till the first round hits lol.

well there was a rumor that you need like 6 players in the game before the stats are recorded or something...

hmm, that would explain a little bit... ive been watching it a bit more closely now and it seems like they stay sometimes and other times they dont

which really sucks because every time i play for hours and hours and get tons of xp, the stats dont stay :(
