FYI to depressed people, Try fitness and eating a little healthier. It changes your views on so many things. But you have to do it to know what i mean.
Ive always known this, its crazy this is the first time i hear some one shed light on what i believe about MENTAL DISORDERS.... there is no such thing as mental disorders, the only real mental disorder its schizophrenia, and that to me is a disease not a disorder. MENTAL STATES, YOU PUT YOURSELF IN THEM, AND ONLY YOU HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE IT. I work in a pharmacy and i feel bad for people that take dumb ass drugs like lexapro, lorazapam..cialis wellbutrin etc.
@LoyalAbvAllLawz What about Autism/Aspergers then? I myself have Adult ADD. It is not a 'MENTAL STATE' as you put it. I have been eating better and working out for a while now and have seen NO improvement in my ability to focus or other symptoms of ADD. Aspergers is very similar, it is like our brains are wired differently. We have to work so much harder to get where Neuro-typicals do EVERY DAY!
Psychiatrists and the medical drugs industry are really criminals.
Criminals masquerading as agents of health promoters. But this is a system that involves many people, from the floor of the factories of medical drugs, the pharmacy counter attendant, doctors and nurses, politicians, medias. It has many "good people" living about this villainy. All are criminals. This is the reality. Who eats the fruit generated by a crime, criminal is.
Psychiatry and Pharmaceutical Companies have created and perpetrated the biggest crime against humanity to make obscene amounts of wealth.
Thank you so much CCHR for being there to help and protect mankind with the truths about these industries.
I hope that one day soon the Pharmaceutical companies will get back on the purpose of creating medicines that help and cure actual diseases of the body.
Ok, but sometimes it is really a necessity to take some drugs. I know 2 people who have a disorder and if they don't take their pill, it's really bad...
@syndie I agree, being diagnosed as bipolar myself, meds CAN be a necessity SOMETIMES. However getting anyone dependant on phycotropic drugs (legal or otherwise) is bad. I look at my pills like a chemical/mental straitjacket, sometimes I need to wear it when things are dangerous, BUT I shouldn't get addicted to them, because the withdraw is even worse. Plus, there are serious life and spiritual lessons to be learned from overcoming a manic or depressive episode, drugs just postpone the "problem"
Thank you once again for having the courage to call it like it is. Namaste.
