  • ok and oso i wana know.. do u feel nice bass? does bass have that nice vibrate with these. im buying mine this week. please lemme no how is tha bass.i like heavy bass

  • hey man im thinkin of buying same set up. is ur krk's connected through xlr cables to ur PreSonus FireStudio Mobile infront?o atback PreSonus FireStudio Mobile using trs connectors?

  • Fuckin PHAT beat!!!!! love it. well done

  • Can you control how much bass you want through a little controller or something?

  • mate if this song had GOod drum sounds in,, it would be SIK!!!!

  • what is this song :)?????

  • i like it

  • Good futuristic beat dude!!!

  • what can the personus run on? [Noob Question I know]

  • @LegitWun it will run on protools 9

  • is Rokit RP6 G2 worth buying ?

  • @GmlkZ yes, i have krk rokit 6, and they sound nice, buy them

  • Wow Where Yhu Got Dhat Red Axiom?

  • @ExplizzitBeats red aniom, u have to disassemble it and have it painted at a body shop, it want cost much. i had my novation keyboards painted red, to match my red limited edition KRK rokit 6 speakers.

  • damn i need a power cable from this rokit 8

    i aint got none,mines missing

  • HA GTA SA---BEST GTA EVER....

  • @jhealey80 actually, you can run Protools 9 with almost any sound card. We installed it on one of our StudioBLADE keyboard workstations a little while back and we use the Firestudio Mobile for the soundcard. you can see videos on our channel.

  • Can the Presonus Run Protools :S

  • @JHealey80 unfortunately no :/

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER runs Studio One Pro, much better than protools :-P

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER yes it can… PT9 supports all asio/core audio interfaces

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER it can run protools 9

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER They can if it is Pro tools 9. Pro tools is no longer stuck to avid, or m-box. It should work great with the presonus equipment.

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER ProTools 9 works with any interface.

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER ok can the fast track pro run adobe audition 3 ?

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER with ProTools 9 now you can use the presounus with protools.

  • Rockin those stock reason sounds lol nice though

  • @Zombbg4 lol yea made tht track wayyy back... lol

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER its your track m8? dope what style of music is that?

  • that song is hella sick brehh breh

  • @AuroraSunset thx fam! it's up for sale on my website, techrisebeatz(dot)com

  • I got Saffire Pro 24 instead of FireStudio...Heard that many people had issues with running FireStudio on a PC.

  • Excellent vid man, i have been thinking about what monitors to get for a long time and i think i will go with these. The track is also banging man, i'm assuming it's your own?

  • @RaVe4EvR122 thx bro! yeah, i have it up on my site, techrisebeatz(dot)com

  • i also had the firestudio mobile but i returned it and got apogee duet.

  • @terry947 why would you do that? the firestudio has been tested in side-by-side comparisons with the duet, and the firestudio was determined to have the highest-quality, lowest noise preamps, and more features.

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER because for me mic pre-amps dont really matter. When i hooked up my monitors to the firestudio to me it sounded meh.... with the apogee duet im really satisfied. the firstudio has too many inputs for me and from what i've read i heard that the duet gives a "cleaner" sound quality in term of recording and output. But in the end it depends on the persons tastes. The firestudio i really good for its price though... where did you read the test between them both?

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER The Duet has better converters.

  • does the firestudio mbile daisy chain so you can hook two of them togthr?

  • @cary19642003 yezzir!

  • myspeaker makes a weird noise why is thaty?

  • @daviddot5 prob a bad connection between your pc/interface and the speakers themselves

  • Clean Beat homie

  • @Dmt4030 thx fam!

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER

I am about to buy the PreSonus FireStudio Mobile.. is it good, do you recommend it ?

  • @madedd02 it does its job amazingly well! especially for the price! all-metal build quality and everything w/ super-clean mic preamps! i'd definitely buy it again over any other interface in its price range.

  • I got the 8's.. They sound great...

  • @crownill no doubt!

  • I used my "first series" set of RP8's to DJ a small bar one night with 50 people before I got my QSC K12's. No one could believe how well they sounded, you should've seen their faces.

  • Nice, I'm getting the same set :)

    Btw. that production is awesome!

  • nice beat

  • XLR or TRS connection?

  • @Spoonzrock both and even an RCA connection, at least that's what my first version's have.

  • can ESI U46 XL support them to be their "master volume device" ? maybe a stupid question but i have to ask :P tnx

  • @Duci1990 yes, as long as it's a stereo audio interface!

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER Alright mate, what would i need to connect a microphone to these? i'm a bit of a novice when it comes to this but i would be using them for beatboxing and listening to dubstep, jungle, grime, DnB ect. is there anything else you could reccomend to improve my setup. Thanks

  • Can i connect the speakers to the E-MU Tracker Pre soundcard ? please answer.. i am buying these next week :) U should welcome me to the krk family :D

  • @vinylrockerz yes, you will be able to connect them! sorry for the late reply...

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER Thanks :).. Np bro :)

  • whats the price for the 2 speakers?

  • @drekB520 $500

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER guitar center??

  • Comment removed

  • you find these to be a little bit too much for a smaller room??

  • @frizbo0182 not at all!

  • nice beats man.

  • @TheGun4life thx!

  • hey man do you know if there is anyway to turn off the firestudio mobile without unplugging the firewire everytime ?

  • @Flipjunkie1 there is no way that i know of...

  • Comment removed

  • yo .. i have a tascam interface and i just brought my these speakers .. but i cant get them to work -__- .. help plz

  • @fresh50east pm me

  • do you use the 10 inch bass or only this 8s ? and is the bass enough of this ?

  • @WaldebeatZ just the 8's. the bass is wonderful, honestly. The sub will not give you MORE bass, per say, it will just go lower in frequency. I feel that this is a common misconception with studio monitors (that the sub will ADD volume to the bass, because it will not).

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER all right thanks mate

  • can i use Krk Rokit 8 with M Audio Fast Track Ultra???

  • @djtanzil99 yes, as long as it has 1/4" in. balanced TRS outputs.

  • Do the RP8 expose any noise from the transformator when you hold your ear close to the bass reflex hole? My RP6s do (even with no audio cables attached) and it's pretty annoying :(

  • @f90looksnice not at all. I'm guessing it could be a defect, since mine are silent.

  • i am baffled at why people are posting soud tests. it will give no accurate info on how they really sound, only how they sound through your speakers , nice tune though mate

  • @davetherave303 just to show the setup :P

  • is that axiom 61 or pro 61? its red!

  • @izaatmusic axiom 49 special edition red

  • i got the same setup, have to tweek alittle bit on pc but best out there for the money in my opinion, good shit

  • man that beat iz dope.... if feel that

  • @lionfan4lif thanks bro!

  • does this work with win 7 64 bit?

  • @ballsdanglin it should work with anything

  • would you recommend these monitors or different (same budget)?

  • @OnCall101Villa the rokit's are flat out amazing, and compared side by side with all other monitors in their price range, they win hands down.

  • @rell1531 thx!

  • haha i should have show the vid to the end next time before i write ^^

  • lol sounds like a reason beat recognize the to first sounds/tones

  • hey man its amazin beat rigt here i did go to your page on soundclick but didn't found this one there you should put it on or if you don't mind pm me with the link im realy interested in this one

  • @Dona010 aight, will do

  • Can you turn off the illumination of the KRK logo (while they are still on of course)?

  • @FesteringSack not tht i know of. idk why yu would want to tho, looks nasty :P

  • You just have to get a vidcam with faster autofocus and you're set..haha. I just decided on the rp8s and firestudio mobile today myself. Glad to see that its working great man. Oh, great music btw.

  • i've got krk rp8s

got them the other day. is the firestudio mobile good?

    what would you recommend?

  • @toiletbrush2 the firestudio mobile is a dream man, no problems whatsoever, and the audio quality is flawless. great buy!

  • what kind of controller is that? great setup!! how do you like the krk rp8's?

  • @islandboy40 m-audio axiom 49 and thanks man! i love mine :D

  • nice dude. i just got rp5's... what's the best way to balance them? also, i have a hissing noise if i turn them up.. its like a piercing sound

  • awesome beat yo

  • @gnayees thanks!

  • you need to sell your beats cuz that's dope! i have the rokit 6's for dj mixing and love them.

  • @DjTecniq thank you, i do sell my beats at techrisebeatz(dot)com

  • seriously sick beat. did you make that in Reason?

  • @TheBTxxX yes i did

  • beat is sick, monitors sound nice. Think im gonna pick up the G2 5's in a package. Lovin the use of Reason as well :D

  • @bipcfmusic hahaaaa, thx fam :)

  • they sound great. plus if you made that beat, homei, you are going places.

  • @IshProduction

thx man, i rlly appreciate it!

  • hey bro i was wondering if the presonus firestudio works on Mac computers only? I run ableton live 8 and was planning on buying a presonus firebox or the firestudio.. the krk rp8g2 im getting for sure!!! i'm just debating on the audio interface.. i appreciate your help!!

  • @djCap the firestudio mobile will work on both Mac and Windows operating systems.

  • low frequencies are really weak

  • @SpezializedDemo8 it's the camera, all my vids have a weak low end... lol.

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER

I meant that not negative....i search for some studio monitors with great bass, for recording with my eguitar and also for casual stuff.( mp3,dvds,movies etc.)

For a subwoofer there is not enough place in my room and yes,i know monitors are not the right for me but i dont want to buy a crap logitech-creative setup.

  • @SpezializedDemo8 ay, it's all good, but imo, these monitors have a very present, but not overbearing low end.

  • nice. i use reason 4 with m-audio firwire 410, axiom 25 and the ferrari red rokit 6's.

  • @MBnjmn nice man, i wish they made the ferrari red rokit's in the 8" model, cuz i would have them lol.

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER the red 6's were on sale for $150 each i had to get them.

  • @MBnjmn wow, tht's a good deal! i got my 8's for $500 for the pair of em.... :/

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER i just got the 8's g2 today and i paid $350. for a pair on ebay. $425 after shipping. i also got an se electronis 2200a mic with the reflection filter for $450, and they're $300 a piece.......:)

  • @MBnjmn @TechRISEthePRODUCER i just got the 8's g2 today and i paid $350. for a pair on ebay. $425 after shipping. i also got an se electronis 2200a mic with the reflection filter for $450, and they're $300 a piece.......:)

  • wow, funny... I was just now looking on the Net for the exact same things xD and there you have it :)

so does this setup run good? I want to get the Firestudio Mobile, hook the KRK's on and a Midi controller...maybe some VST's?!

  • works like a charm with both reason 4 & logic pro

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER I have cubase 5... ^^

  • the firestudio will honestly work w/ anything lol.

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER what cables are required to hook the Krk's to the firestudio?

  • just two 1/4in. balanced patch cables.

  • @TechRISEthePRODUCER can u put a link with what it would look like please?!

  • We have the same speaker/audio interface setup :)

  • haha, yu hav good taste too then :)

  • Hey techrise! Thanks for posting this vid. The PreSonus interface has really captured my interest at the moment. I'm now really thinking about buying one. So just a quick question, what's the reliability like with this interface? I've heard way to many stories about interfaces in this price range just dying soon after they've come out the box. So I just wana know if you've had any problems? Cheers mate!!!

  • ay, in my opinion, the PreSonus FireStudio Mobile is one of the most rugged, reliable interfaces I looked at purchasing. It has an all-metal casing, with solid feeling buttons/knobs, and has worked seamlessly with my 2 DAW's (Logic Pro & Reason) since the moment I took it out of the box! I would hazard a guess that some of those stories of the interface "dying" could be software driver issues, or even having the internal clock set incorrectly. Overall, this is a great buy & i recommend it 100%!

  • I got M-audio Axiom..would program it as a software controller on sonar...any help??

I play and record Rock music in general..could the KRK do the right job to mix Pop/Rock/blues music!! ??

    would plug'em into Emu 1616M..

  • @blownspirit yes, use enigma to program your keyboard, or if sonar has a preset for it, that will work too. I use reason 4.0, and it connected after a quick scan for a keyboard (everything else was automatic). I'm sure sonar has something similar to that. also, yes, these monitors have a very flat, even response for the price, and really shine in all genres. I recommend trying these as well as many different kinds of monitors at a local music store to find out which is best for you though.

  • In my opinion, there are no best studio monitors. The price obviously determines many features and aspects but its all about getting used to what you hear. You gotta keep playing many music on your speakers and try turning them on other places and audio systems. You really need to be aware of how your mixes sound in your surroundings. Maybe listen to your tracks through the ipod or your car. Anywhere. It helps alot.

  • you may be right tht there is no PERFECT monitor out there, but with an acoustically correct room, monitors do the job much better than anything else. I would personally never judge the sound of a mix off my car stereo or ipod, however i would use em as a reference.

  • Yeah i meant to explain the chicken or egg matter. If you take your mix you got off your monitor and play it on someone else's monitor, you might notice a big difference in various frequencies. So that probably makes you think, am i wrong or hes right. In order to get you out of the confusion, it is wise to see how your mix translates to other environments. Just like how a top billboard music can translate into many environments and get recognized.

  • in my opinion, a good way to get a mix that sounds good anywhere is to reference it to a professionally produced track when mixing/mastering. that way, you can get your mix to match the quality of the pros.

  • wassup man.One question, how r the Krk's for hip-hop producing n recording?im between the yamaha hs80m and them...would be cool if you could give any advice.

  • @GREEKGzzzzz I personally am very happy w/ my rp8's as a hip hop producer. I haven't heard the HS80M's however. The only way for you to decide what monitors you like best, would be to listen/compare them side by side at a local music store.

  • hey man great beat. I;m thinking of buying these monitors, is a preamp need to drive these?

  • no preamp, they are powered, so they don't need an amp. you will need an interface to run them through though, like the PreSonus Firestudio Mobile i use in the video.

  • I have a line 6 UX2, do you know if that would work? it's mostly for guitars.

  • if it has a "main out" on the back (1/4 in. balanced, rca, or xlr) it will be able to plug into the monitors. just be sure to get the right cables to match the output.

  • ayo ayo wats good fam im feeling the beat thats hot.. question tho how u liking that interface i was thinking about getting one is it good?

  • ayy, thanks man! and hellzyeah, the interface has great preamp quality on the mic channels, and all around shines!

  • that beat tight, sound like one of those fresh beat your hear on a good episode of CSI: MIAMI .. YEAH SUN !

  • @kirkstate haha, aight, thx 4 the cmnt fam!

    `1

  • I've been reading about the preamps being noisy .... what has your experience been like so far (u seem to love it)??

I'm begining to think tht the complains about noise has to do with crappy chipsets.

  • @rickylevar uhhhh, HELL NO!!! the XMAX preamps are the most quiet solid state ones presonus offers.... they are featured on their most expensive mixer/interface, the StudioLive 16.4.2. they have a VERY clean, high headroom, professional sound. i am actually recording a song with my Blue Microphones BlueBird through it tomorrow, so if you want i can pm u a link when it's done, because it sounds FANTASTIC!!!

  • I just bought a bluebird yesterday and have been thinking about getting this interface to use with it. I would love it if you could link me to your song using this and your bluebird! That would be extremely helpful! Thanks!

  • aight, i will pm u the link. i actually produced the track, my friend did all the vocals. hope you like underground rap, haha.

  • Would you mind PM'ing me the link as well? I would love to hear the quality of this thing. The beat is hot! Also, does this mean that you would NOT recommend the Firebox? I was thinking about purchasing one, but I haven't had any prior experience with it, nor have I heard sort of samples or examples.

  • sure, i actually have a newer track of me myself singing, so i'll send yu tht one instead (it also includes new and improved acoustics, since i just finished treating my room acoustically.)

  • coo track it sounds like a old video game a bit. so i have the 8 g2's. how do I go about setting this up? I'm running a an XPS 430. should I go for the presonus? what Kind of sound card should I get that will work with it all? Got $ for whatever.

  • if you have the cash, the Presonus Firestudio Mobile or any Firestudio interface would work the best, IMO. after a lot of research, the Presonus interfaces come out on top of the rest. I would suggest any of them except for the firebox or audiobox due to subpar mic preamp quality. However, the preamps on the Firestudio series are the XMAX model are true studio grade! BEAUTIFUL sound, i highly reccomend getting one of the FireStudio interfaces, because as a user, i think they are are flawless.

  • I am in the process of buying a soundcard that will perform too any names out there? I have an XPS 430 RAM 6 GB Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad. running FL9. sorta new to sum of this. will the presonus brifge the connection with a midi keyboard and the speakers? so far they tell me for FL the M-Audio Keystation Pro 88 Midi Controller is good. are there any others? I'm not a pro pianist or anything.

  • well, u won't need a sound card if u get the firestudio because it works as your sound card. u would plug ur keyboard into a usb port on ur computer, not the interface. and as for the controller, you could check smaller controllers like the M-Audio Axiom series, like i have, or others of that type.

  • So even though the keyboard would run midi I won't need the midi connection just a usb for the piano? I was told USB has more latency then the MIDI in and out. well I would want the 88 just because I like the full version and I have too much room on my desk. I appreciate the help by the way. Thanks. Finally come across someone who makes sense.lol

  • i have absolutely NO latency from my keyboard to my computer, and from what you told me about ur computer, u shouldn't either. and haha, np, any more questions, just hit me up!

  • I'm so used to FL studio..I don't understand yet how people put together tracks..more the beat part..wit programs like this..Fl has the track n spots laid out and seems easier to understand. This looks harder because it lays it out in sound waves. how do u edit it besides quantizing..

  • haha, u mean Reason? it's all MIDI. It has a "Rack" window and a sequencer window, a lot like FL. It is harder if u want to get further into it, but that will open up a lot of possibilities if you were to tweak some of the more advanced settings.
