Panic attacks, loss of appetite, the feeling of living life outside your body, the feeling of living in a dream, continuous negative thoughts, troubling and obsessive thoughts, excessive stress and worry, trouble sleeping. You are not alone. There are many others who have these experiences. I USE TO, but NO longer have them. I found what worked. I am NOT SELLING anything, I just want to share the process that freed me of anxiety. Please watch my intro. video for more info! Thanks, Stay positive!
OhMyGawd! =D I didn't actually think there would be a video on overcoming shyness and self-consciousness. You rock man!! I need to know how to overcome shyness because I'm a pretty outgoing person but I have my moments of self-consciousness and I hate that. Thanks man! :) Rock on!
Sometimes prescription drugs can interact with natural meds or each other. Also St. Johns wort works for me but it's not suppossed to be used for a long time. Exercise and diet helps, meditation. Yoga is suppossed to help but just makes me more anxious. Um lets see my refrences experience, (have diagnosis of anxiety and depression) Oh yeah change your brain change your body is a really great resource , the internet is also useful. Um Lucinda Bassett you should look her material up.
I'm not sure if they are sold in a lot of stores but they do have a website.Says on bottle for Larch that it's for greater sense of self esteem when you feel inferior , fear failure or lack confidence, Hornbeam is for energy and Willow is " to help you forgive past injustices and move on when you feel resentful and bitter, not sure exactly how willow works but it does. And by the way no affiliation with the company. I would suggest speaking with your doc about these before you try it.
Ironicaly enough,I went to an indoor farmers market earlier to find this stuff called Bach it's really good for all types of emotional stuff. I've really been having a crappy christmas( whole other story) but I've used it before and found it really useful. When I first tried it I was really skeptical because it's really a bunch of exotic dilluted flowers or whatever, but it really works.
They come in 0.7 fl oz bottles but go a long way. I have Willow, Hornbeam and Larch.
i love this video! i actually shed a few tears tword the end. you are right i don't need shyness anymore . i needed it in school to protect myself from bullies and the bad things that happened in my life. now i am an adult , i can take it from here, its doing me more harm than good.
@SuperPoetry87 Awesome!! Let that old shyness go!! That's great you had some big shifts from the video. It's interesting that most of our strategies that we developed when we were young (and dependent on older people like our parents, teachers, etc) actually become counter-productive to us living a fun, enjoyable, and successful life. We have to wake up to who we are now and consciously release old patterns, then choose a new attitude and mindset.
Hey man, thanks for the video its a good demonstration! And you seem pretty chill so obviously works well for you! Just wondering what were the legal reasons your TAT video was removed? Was keen to watch it
@SpearoKC Thanks man, yeah I had to remove the TAT video until I become TAT certified which I am in the process of doing. At that point I may post the videos back up but it might take a while.
If there's a medicine one day that can effectively cut down on SA and possibly destroy the receptors in the brain that are responsible for these over emotions then maybe.. I'm not doing this because I want to, but I rather stay away from situations that will embarrass me and make the situation worse. There's a HUGE difference between shyness and anxiety disorder, when I was a kid I wasn't like this but I became mentally ill not by choice.. Then depression comes in & other
@Cavin21 Hey I'm not knocking you for having SA, I'm just knocking you because I gave you a great technique that you can use in the comfort of your own home and you dismissed it without giving it a chance. Why would you want to destroy receptors in your brain? SA comes from the absence of the emotions to fill those receptors, so we just need to figured out how to get our brain to produce those naturally. Easiest way to do this IMO - Spend lots of time in nature.
@RyanRandolphYangTown Nature helps us to restore proper brain wiring and re-energizes us. If we can put our bare feet directly on the earth (grass, dirt, sand, etc) then we will recharge ourself even faster. I believe SA is a negative byproduct of too much technology (combined with staying at home too much) thereby splitting off our body-awareness leading to anxiety when we take our tv/computer-wired body into public. We have to unplug from technology and plug into nature.
@Cavin21 no disrespect but medicine! the same ones that have a bunch of side effects and are tested on lab rats. Alternative meds are way better and work way better on anxiety and depression, have fewer risk of side effects and are cheaper. There probaly is an alternattive medicine that works for social phobias that we haven't heard about yet.
Can you name a few? I heard of natural herbs that help too, I been taking benzodiazepines and depression pills and they work for a while but then become less effective and you have to switch to another. I wish I could just cure it and never have to worry about it again. It's the longest illness I have ever experience I think it's permanent.
@N3adz It's ok, lots of ppl have that problem. Start slowly by taking walks outside the house, get comfortable in your body. As you walk say hi to ppl as you walk by. Then start going to public places by yourself, like starbucks. Get a book and go there, then just sit and read or watch/listen to something on your laptop. Smile and say hi to people that you see. Do this over and over and over, until you become comfortable with it. Then start talking to the cashiers more each time you go.
@RyanRandolphYangTown Each experience builds confidence by creating nerual networks in your brain for social interactions. The more you socialize, the more confidence you have. Its tough at the start, and it may feel like it will never get better but it does.
@77ayoubi Lol, no just a regular guy who has studied psychology, spirituality, and all different kinds of healing methods for the past few years. I just use with my own experience and realizations to sort of pick myself up and get better...its worked pretty well so far.
Thanks for the comments guys, yeah sometimes I talk slow but I can't help it, my brain is releasing so many damn good feeling endorphins from using these techniques that I am like permanently high, lol.
@noizrulz You can do this as many times as you feel appropriate it for your situation. It depends on when you feel the social anxiety/shyness come up. If you ever feel blocked by it, use this technique, and keep using it until it goes away and you are able to take action. You can do many many rounds of EFT daily when you feel the uncomfortable emotions or blocks. For TAT, you only want to do a full session once per day (morning or night is best). Change the wording to fit your experience too.
man..i didnt watched this video yet but hope it wll work for me....my sister's wedding is on sunday and iam too much depressed how ican face other people....i will try this tomorrow..hope it will help..
