Love it. Satriani is my favorite guitar player, Anthony is second in my book behind Maiden's Steve Harris, and Haggar is the first live gig I ever saw back in '78 warming up Boston. Still got the 8-track. Good energy, no wimpy stuff like VH ended up playing.

It's a shame that such seasoned musicians keep trying to revive their past instead of trying something different, step out of the formula and really make a song. And the technical ability it's really not impresive, chad's drums are always the same 4/4 shit, the bass is the simple rock n roll bass that doesn't require much else that following the guitar, and satriani is reeeeally keeping it simple for the rest.

Love it. Satriani is my favorite guitar player, Anthony is second in my book behind Maiden's Steve Harris, and Haggar is the first live gig I ever saw back in '78 warming up Boston. Still got the 8-track. Good energy, no wimpy stuff like VH ended up playing.

It's a shame that such seasoned musicians keep trying to revive their past instead of trying something different, step out of the formula and really make a song. And the technical ability it's really not impresive, chad's drums are always the same 4/4 shit, the bass is the simple rock n roll bass that doesn't require much else that following the guitar, and satriani is reeeeally keeping it simple for the rest.

Firstly, did you listen to the guitar playing on this track? Secondly, when people play in basically any musical group from a rock band to an orchestra, they have to *underplay* or it would be chaos. It's not like the main riff on this song is the limit of satriani's skill. Thirdly, even if you can play the notes, can you play them with the same consistency and quality? ;)

@H3Vtux i agree except for one point. Rap can be good. Not like Lil Wayne and Ludacris and the main stream shit, but Atmosphere, Common, even Wale. its up to who you are that determines that stuff. Personally, I like a whole lotta different kinds of music, but Chickenfoot, man Chickenfoot is a new era of Rock. When you have satriani and smith in the same band, miracles are bound to happen. I love it
