  • nice job! i jsut started and im hoping ot add some more muscle mass as well so i started the mass building plan tony posted in a newsletter so the workout plan is a bit different but same exercises... did you aim for the 6-8 rep range with the weight? and for the max rep exercises did you sitll go all out or did you like wear a book bag for more resistance? great job man!

  • @BEYONDILIMIT Yes I recorded my weight and reps and when I was able to do 10 reps I knew to add more weight and if I couldn't get six reps I dropped weight. I did use a backpack with weight in it for push ups. Thanks!

  • Awesome results man! im also in college do you have an example of your nutrition and supplements you used. ik in college its easy not to eat healthy.

  • @billypuddels The mass gaining plan on the teamripped website is a good one. As far as supplements, stick with the basics. Whey protein, creatine, and a complex carb powder. Thanks!

  • @jobu1415 Glad to see another under Coach Wayne. Keep it up!

  • You look great, man! AWESOME JOB!

  • @professionalblogger Thank you!

  • I'm trying to ditch my old barbells for a new adjustable set—what brand is that out of curiousity?

  • @sneakypuma Lifesmart adjustable dumbbells.

  • That's impressive. I'm 5' 8" and weight 125lbs. So if I substitute kenpo with lift, and yoga with core, and only do plyo once a week, while using protein shakes, I should see similar gains?

  • @HholyDiver42 Thats a good plan! But don't forget about nutrition. It is important to folow a solid diet.

  • @HholyDiver42 then what would your schedule be? because you can't workout the same parts of the body back-toback. i', curious because i was going to do the same tthing

  • Justin is my Cousin. He has Motivated me and steered me down the right path! Because of him i am now on a steady workout schedule and have went from 160lbs to 190 lbs! This video was made a while back, You should see Justin now!! WOW!! He is a beast in the weight room!!

  • @ThePF711 Thanks bro! Keep up the good work!

  • And also lol @ the Jesus Christ bullshit at the end. LOL. Praying to an imaginary ghost is fucking super helpful...ROFL.

  • @AirJordansDetroit Praying is another way to express your hope to you yourself, spastic.

  • I can't stop lol'ing. The body can put on about 1lb of muscle per month if you do everything perfectly, and that is only plausible for beginners. After the first year or two of strength training the amount of muscle gains start to drop and it becomes exponentially harder to gain muscle. The most actual muscle you could have put on in 90 days is about 3-5 lbs lol..

  • @AirJordansDetroit HYPBEAST WASSUP

  • hey, very impressive transformation. Im planning to do the same thing but did you modify the original p90x schedule at all? if so what did you change? thanks !

  • @yagrooza Yes I substituted Kenpo with another lift workout and did Core instead of Yoga.

  • @jobu1415 do you also substitute the cardio workout? _

  • @yagrooza The only cardio I did was Plyo once a week.

  • how was your calories and die like?

  • @RealspitHiphop604 I tried to get 3500 calories every day. Basically, it was50% good carbs and lots of lean meat at lunch and dinner. Check out the teamripped website and look under the Nutrition Zone tab for a full days sample.

  • @jobu1415 ty

  • holy fuck quality mass, so it can be done...

  • @94TurtlePurple The first month I took whey protein and a multi-vit. After the first month I added creatine, a pre workout, and a mass againer

  • Hi Justin. Great video on the p90x, defo one of the best ones i've seen. Quick question if thats ok ? I would also like to gain some size as opposed to lose it. Did you stick to heavier weights/ lower reps? And if so what type of rep numbers would you recommend. Keep up the great work !!!!

  • @sampling247 Yes to gain mass you need heavy weight with a rep range around 6 to 8 for failure. Thanks!

  • tell me man, is this routine followed with a diet meal? it looks like promesing, and can u make results even if u cant follow the diet?cos i eat what i can i live in a poor country :)

  • @TheArifovski Just try to get as many calories as you can from good carbs and lean meats and you should put on some mass.

  • Did you do a 3 day split?? Or did you workout more then 3 times a week? and in the first week did you start seeing any gains?

  • @OsidePenguin32 I worked out six days a week following the P90X schedule. I did not really notice gains until I compared my day 30 to my day 1 pics.

  • I'm a really lazy person and can only stick to the program for a few days before quitting. I also struggle to make it to the end of the workout as I'm too tired and just give up! Any advice for a slack ass like me? Also how much of an adaptation did you make to your diet?

  • @scammelltoe Set a goal of what you want to look like at the end of the program and find some sort of motivation. I wanted to be able to go home and people notice a bigger, fitter me. The major change of my diet was cutting out sweets and white breads. Once you start eating cleaner, you will have more energy! When you start seeing results, it will be worth it.

  • what was your meal plan

  • @gamerfever94 I always got some kind of grilled meat and rice or potatoes with vegetables.

  • bro this is SICK im the position you WERE in...i just cant stay motivated..i want to get muscular BAD but lazyness is overcoming my desire...tips?

  • @TURTLEDUDE919 Set some goals! Do some research on nutrition and supplements and plan ahead. Know when you can workout and when you will be able to get your meals in. Take some pictures and watch your progress. As soon as you start seeing results and getting compliments, you will look forward to your workouts and eating clean will get easier!

  • Looks like you gained the freshman 15, but PURE MUSCLE.

  • @TheShoxsta011 Yep, I reversed the trend!

  • Good job bro'. I like the plug for Jesus towards the end there. Not to mention your other supporters, Coach Wayne, teamripped, friends, family, etc.

  • @mred915 Thanks!

  • The video is good. You do have a great body transformation result their on your body. I wish I could have that kind of body too. I do wanted to share a link of a site that some of you might be interested with. Its about a link that offers workout plans and information on how you could effectively increase your muscles and loose body fats in order to develop a lean muscular look you always wanted to have. Youtube won't allow me to post the link but you can check it on my profile.

  • @mabalasik1982 Thanks for sharing!

  • God bless bro, good job. I advice buying the X vest or any weighted vest so you can put more mass on the chest. (Body weight pushups will get you shredded but any additional weight will get you big)

    Keep up the good work

  • @danielrfuster Thanks! I started using a an old backpack with some weights in it after my first month.

  • looks like u did good but with better form would have done so much better. your shoulder helps u start lifting on your bicep workout, your going too heavy

  • @redv8jeep I didn't realize how bad my form was until I saw the film, I was just trying to lift heavy weight. But I learned a lot from that round.

  • What sort of weights did you uses cos right now I just have 25pound weights which are starting to get light

  • @MegaJust4comments Lifesmart adjustable dumbbells, they go up to 55 lbs.

  • Thanks Man.. I'll take any kind of advice I can get.

  • Hey man, how many calories do you have a day? I just started P90x and using it to gain muscle mass also.

  • @Daboy201987 I tried to get 3500. I didnt always reach it though, but using a mass gainer supplement helped me.

  • Hey, im 17 i was fat last year but lost a lot of weight this year (now im quite skinny) but i feel i still need to lose body fat , although everyone is discouraging me telling me im too skinny, so i just bought p90x, im scared if i use your bulking diet i would get fat again, but im also scared that i would look anorexic if i do the p90x cutting diet, what should i do.

  • @TheShoxsta011 I recommend measuring your body fat first with a caliper. They are cheap and easy to use. If your are under 10%, I say go ahead and bulk up. When following a bulking diet, record how much weight you gain per week. You should be gaining one pound a week. Anything more than that is probably fat. So see how much you gain the first week and tweak the diet if you need to drop or add calories.

  • wtf type of dumbells are thos :3

  • @sertwert Lifesmart adjustable dumbbells

  • @jobu1415 Thanks man i get tired of the big dumb ones i use thos look small and compacted i like'em

  • @sertwert They are worth it if you do not have much space I did.

  • Did you do the all cardios, jumping excersices aswell? Or you just did the weights and pull ups with a mass gaining diet?

  • @09Zufar I did Plyo once a week. It was the only cardio I did.

  • @94TurtlePurple No problem!

  • @94TurtlePurple Eat a surplus of calories, with 50% of them being carbs. Lift heavy weight while shooting for 6 to 8 reps, and use a weighted backpack for push ups/pull ups if they become too easy.

  • what time of day did you workout?

  • @xdojox 3 pm

  • Aww no credit to tony horton? lol Good job dude im on day 39

  • @metalrayne1 Yea he helped too lol, keep it up!

  • Awesome results...thanks for sharing!!!!

  • @MightyZocalo Thank you!

  • Perfect thank you so much

  • @motocross363 No problem!

  • What supplements did u take?

And what kind of weights r those I love em

And btw. U are one of the only people whos arms got bigger in the 90 days lol. I take it u did the 8-10 reps

  • @motocross363 I took whey protein, a pre workout, creatine the last two months, and a mass gainer. They are Lifesmart adjustable dumbbells and they go to 55 pounds. I would try to get 6-8 reps, if I could get more than eight reps I would go up weight next time.

  • Man. I just Thiught p90x just toned from photos and stuff. Man. I had no idea u can get these kind of results. And I was convinced that cardio like plyo was bad for bulking I guess not I can't wait to get results like these.

I have had it I have gone on it off and on and now I an really gunna do It everyday

You legit inspired me to be committed to this. Thank you! Great work!

  • @motocross363 I really appreciate it! Stay motivated and committed!

  • ok thanks man! your my new inspiration and my goal is to get the same results u got!

  • @THEUNGUlDED Im glad to hear that! Thanks and good luck!

  • nicw work mate keep going! dont let anything stop you! not even yourself on lazy days :D

  • @joka232 I appreciate it!

  • Wow! Well I don't have a high metabolism...so this wont happen to me will it??

  • @THEUNGUlDED It might, just push yourself on the cardio to burn a lot of calories and eat clean. Also, on Ab Ripper X, I did it three times a week and I would get every rep. Even if you have to pause it, make sure you get all 25 reps per exercise

  • i know u gained weight with coach waynes bulking diet, but one thing that boggles my head is how did you gain all that weight and still get ripped abs?

i thought its normal to gain SOME fat while bulking?? plz tell me

  • @THEUNGUlDED I have no idea! I was not expecting to have abs at the end but I guess it is because of my fast metabolism.

  • @jobu1415

    k thanks man!!

also im in school as well, and its hard to eat 6 meals day... how did u do it?!?!?

  • @THEUNGUlDED I would put some almonds, a protein bar, snacks like that to eat in between classes. Also, my meal plan gave me three meals a day.

  • Props dude, this is really encouraging

  • @absorbcreate Thank you!

  • Hey to keep it short and simple, im 16, 130lbs, a hardgainer. Im looking to build mass with X, heres a few questions. What nutrition plan/phase did you follow, and how did you calculate your calories? Did you follow a macronutrient ratio? What weight size dumbbells did you use? Finally what tips/advice would you give me?

  • @Noobykins I never tracked my calories, Coach Wayne's diet already has the calories, and macronutrients listed for every snack/meal. I knew I was getting the proper nutrition by following the plan. I would lift heavy weight on all exercises, to where I would fail by 8 reps. Pause between lift workouts, you want your to heart rate to slow down some so take a 45 sec to 1 min break between sets. Use a weighted backpack for pushups/ pull ups if you can to lower reps. Sub a lift workout for Kenpo.

  • @jobu1415 So would 50lb powerblocks be enough?

  • @Noobykins I would think so. I never went over 50 lbs. on any move during my 90 days.

  • @jobu1415 So with the added rest time between sets, the dvds would be even longer? How long do you usually spend for the resistance workouts?

  • @Noobykins Pausing for small breaks does add about 15 min to the resistance workouts.

  • just work on your chest and your good to go :)

  • @Jeremy671production I know, it's definitely my weakest area.

  • Excellent results!

It looks like you are using Finnlo Vario Tech dumbbells. Right?

Do you like them? Are the y very good for P90X or not so good? I'm not sure shall I pay 400 Euro for them if those are not good for the program ^)

  • @almalinov Yes, altough mine are called Lifesmart adjustable dumbbells but they look exactly like the Finnlo Vario Tech dumbbells.I think the difference is that Lifesmart is measured in pounds and the Finnlo is measured in kilograms. I do like them and recommend them for P90X because they allow for a quick change of weight if you need more or less weight and they only take up a small amount of space.

  • @jobu1415 Oh, didnät know those are sold under different names. Thank you for the answer! Do you find them reliable? Also, I was looking for a dimensions of these things in the internet and could not find any information. Could you measure the length of those?

I'm worried because there are some exercises in P90x where long dumbbells could be difficult to use.

  • @almalinov They are 17 inches long and I did have to adjust a few of the exercises bcause of their size but all in all, it was not a major problem. They are reliable to me and I am glad I found them.

  • Same here! Geaux Tigers!!

  • @ jobu1415 Thanks! Is that an LSU hat @ day 30?

  • @ponson416 Yea, Im from Louisiana and Im a big LSU fan

  • How tall are you? I'm 6'2" 165lbs, always been a hardgainer also. I ordered P90X a couple of days ago. I'm going for the same as you... Putting on mass. My diet is fixing to drastically change.

  • @ponson416 I am 6'2" also. Good luck!

  • Glad to see you're a follower of Christ as well, nice job btw!

  • @kylek1127 Thanks!

  • what calories in ur diet? how rep in ur p90x exercise? what' ur progression with the weights? integrator y or n?Ur workout is only p90x?.... However fantastic job!!

  • god doesn't exist. nice video.

  • So where can we get this coach wayne diet?

  • @studmuffin3264 Go to the teamripped website and look under the Nutrition Zone tab

  • you are an inspiration for skinny guys like me!

  • @Vnnss Thanks!

  • Dude, that was insane. Really great job man!

  • @vetten123 I appreciate it

  • I don't know you at all, but I'm f`cking proud of you. Keep going!

  • @Unison8 lol thanks!

  • Best video for p90x iv seen start mine tomorrow

  • @phunkyfreak88 Thanks youll enjoy it!

  • @jobu1415 lmao man congratulations, I love scrolling through videos like these, just shows pure dedication and desire! You're a beast, keep it up!

  • @GreenyGotSwag Thank you!

  • excellent job man.

  • @dbouchielsu thank you

  • You do credit to hardgainers everywhere! I started at 164 and now bulked and topped out at 174 after P-90X. I didn't follow the diet as hardcore as you so I'm not as cut, but it's still an awesome program.

  • @kicksit1980 Thanks!

  • Great job - that is incredible! Way to bring it! Congrats!

  • @Chairman7w Thank you!

  • Well done Justin -- congratulations! Thanks for the shout-out to Jesus in your credits too; your results are inspiring, but so is being 'not ashamed of the Gospel' -- carry on man!

  • @TodaysAudrey I really appreciate it!

  • So many shakes! Lol

This is my opinion, but I think its a little to much.

    However!! The results show.

    Great stuff :D

Btw, this was featured on the P90x Facebook page.

  • @WCMTesting I know paying for all those supplements gets old lol! And thanks!

  • You look like you are ready to play college football now lol .. good work

  • @DirtyHunGoneWild Lol thanks!

  • I would like to know what brand of weights that you are using! They look like adjustable dumbbells but the only ones I know of are the Bowflex ones and they are SO expensive!

  • @kkrueger1 They are Lifesmart adjustable dumbbells! I got mine at Academy and they are about $175. They work great!

  • @kkrueger1 fuck spending that sort of money on weights!!! you dont need to. buy cheap ass weights and save your money for good food, protein shakes and creatine.

  • @isk2221 Thanks! I used a backpack with free weights in it for my push ups. The mass gainer I used was Prolab N-Large 2!

  • Hey man! These are some of the best results i have seen keep it up! I just wanted to know what supplements did you use to achieve those results??

  • @PercussiveSpeech I appreciate it! I used whey protein, creatine monohydrate, pre workout (Jack3d), a mass gainer shake, and a multi vitamin!

  • @austinbnryahoo I am going to try kre alkalyn next! Most people like 1M.R. better than Jack3d but 1 M.R. made me sick sometimes. And thanks!

  • @austinbnryahoo I have tried several! The creatine free ones i have used are Body Rush, Napalm, and White Flood. I like Napalm the best out of these. Ones with creatine that I used were Jack3d, NO Xplode, and 1 M.R. I like Jack3d the best out of all of them. Its pretty good! I highly recommend nitric oxide because it helps me maximize my workouts. Its hard for me to workout without using one. Hope that helps!

  • amazing, team ripped kicks serious ass

  • @itsame32 Yes we do!

  • Good job! I have done three rounds of P90X. Lost 65 lbs. Now that I am at a healthy weight I have been following the Primal Blueprint diet. It's great. Thinking about doing a bulk up phase like you next. Bring it!

  • @plfish77 Thanks! Keep it up!

  • What supplements did you use? Did you follow the nutrition guide calorie-wise?

  • @xilllllix I used whey protein, creatine, nitric oxide, and a mass gainer. I did not use creatine the first month though. As far as calories, I followed the phase 3 section since my goal was to add mass and it included the most calories.

  • You are my ispiration!!! Keep it up man!!

  • @dyliscious2 Thanks bro!

  • Looking Good ;)

  • @93laken Thanks!
