You really nail the verses and I don't mean that as a lowly compliment. So many people just sing a verse so they can get through to the chorus and belt the high notes. You treat it with the respect it deserves to really set up the chorus.

I like that you don't over sing the choruses either with runs, but I think if you produced it so that the music surrounds your voice better it'd help.
