A wonderful restoration achievment. However, in WW2 most Lizzie's had their spats removed to stop them getting choked up with soil when landing on muddy fields. Shame about the paint job!

An astounding feat of reverse engineering. Congratulations to the Lysander restoration team. This aeroplane is a study in contrasts, isn't it? It looks both ungainly and graceful, ugly and beautiful. It could fly me out of occupied France anytime!
