  • Holy sith!

  • For Sith's sake what a great model! LOL

  • @LiteracyLabyrinth2 Thank you :)

  • anyone got any ideas whare the .gunports are eg.... cannons within the hull i think the ships windows on the bridge section could be them i know this is an odd place but who knows... its fits the film in size... so its a gess....... would think it would be placed on the inside well i would of thought that it would of bin thare anyway any idea.... write back

  • @skycaprob If your refering to the ones outside the ship along the left and right sides [ not the Cannons outside the Hanger at the top of the ship ] then those would be the Gun Ports if im sure i know what your talking about.

    Thanks for watching.

    Jason : )

  • @doctorwhoone they along the side of the ship... groups of four of them... in the model they are there.. :) plus in the movie u see them shooting from the locations so they have to be them...... they fire from bottom of the side section..... and the canons barral are out of the force fields so they have to be them.... but im not sure if they are lazor or point defence

  • the so secret dirty word of sith is shit

  • @YavinStudios Ha Ha, yes it is !, ive often wondered if Lucas chose the word Sith diliberately, knowing it spells Shit all along, well, atleast he does have a sense of humour unlike most people in this god forsaking world.

  • @doctorwhoone no, im pretty sure you mean, "FORCE forsaking world"

  • ive got it

  • Good for you , it's a great model .

  • @doctorwhoone yeah but i havent finshed it yet

  • Oh right , well , have fun finishing it off : )

  • @doctorwhoone i wish it would come with remote control ships and the hangar doors open.that would be awesome

  • That is quite liturally a BRILLIANT IDEA !!!! . . . .

Shame the actual Revell Models dont have any such lights and sounds feature with open and closing features .

Thanks for watching , and merry Christmas to you : )

  • @doctorwhoone AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU

  • Thx for the review mate I'm gonna order it on amazon.. Do u think amazon carries the full set or just the easy to build one?

  • Honestly ? not a clue , but i do recommend buying it anyhow , and wish you well in building and painting your very own Venator Star Destroyer : )

It's quite an eye pleaser when finished .

  • @doctorwhoone Alrite cool. Thanks for such a speedy response too, I really appreciate it... again, your video really helped me choose revell over the expensive lego versions

  • No problem , happy to be of help to others here on YouTube : )

  • ive got 50 of them hanging of my sealing and some times i play with them with the over ships ive got a hole army of them i spent 700 pounds on all the star wars stuff i got know....

  • 50 ? your kidding right ?? . . bloody hell . .

  • i ll have to show u my version of the republic star destroyer i did with my niece i had the model for over a year now but never got round to building it up, i have done modling before the warhammer 40K i manly used the paints from them cause they give better diffanetion to models.

  • If you've uploaded a Video of your Model , please send it to me via Personnal Message here on YouTube and i'll check it out as soon as possible .

  • Is this difficult to built it ??

I don't know how built it, you must glue all the parts and paint the ship ?

  • I wouldint say it's that differcult , the bigger parts of the Ship are the bottom and top halfs , which all you have to do is place these individual front and side pieced inbetween them , including the Engines offcourse which is also fairly simple , including the Bridge section at the top .

Dont panic thou , it comes will fully illustrated intructions like all Model Kits do , so you wont make an mistakes when building just as long as you follow the instructions carefully bit by bit .

  • Now that is a nice build-up! Did you think about use the decals available for free on Starship Modeler? You can get decal paper cheaply and they can be inkjet or laser printed. They look awesome when finished.

BTW: you mentioned liking Rex. Your accent sounds a lot like his. :)

  • Rex sounds kinda Butch now i think about it , i dont think i sound like him , not unless im doing a voice impression of him with my Action Figure of the Guy - " In my Book , experiance outranks EVERYTHING ! " .

Never heard of Starship Modeller , atleast im sure ive never heard of it .

    Thanks for watching .

  • thanks hey can you update me on new videos that you post

  • If your talking about Reviews , im afraid i no longer them , i got sick of doing Reviews for random Reasons , one of them was finding the time to do them .

Thanks for watching anyways ! .

    Jason : )

  • damn i want one BUT I DONT LIVE IN THE UK DAMN IT!

  • Well as i said on the Box that pops up during the start of the Review , you could look on EBay .

  • dude this is sick , i know theres one smaller than this but where do u buy the massive one u built ,is it custom?

  • You havint been listening to me talk properly during the Review . I said it was a Birthday Gift from my Dad in a Shop called Model Zone here in the UK .

You wont be able to buy this version of the Model from them now thou , as Revell dont produce it anymore , but an Easy Kit version for £19.99 is avalible in Model Zone , theres loads in the UK so if you live in the UK i suggest looking them up on Google .

  • ok then

  • awsome and good panting but do the doors open

  • You mean the long Hanger Bay Doors ? no , they dont . A shame really , that would have been a good feature now you mention it , but what you see here on my Video is what you end up with if you got this Model or the Easy Kit version which unlike this one that i own does not require Paints or Glue .

  • Ok I bought this model and I ruined it trying to paint the damn thing...

  • Oh you never ???? . . . . well you can now buy an Easy Kit version which doesint require any Paint or Glue so ide recommend it if you want a real nice Venator without all the fuss involved .

  • i saw a model like this on a model site.

  • Where can I find this modell??

  • If you live in the UK , look up your nearest Model Zone [ model zone dot co dot uk ] .

You wont be able to buy this version of the Kit thou , as Revell no longer produce it , but an Easy Kit version which does not require Paint or Glue can be brought in Model Zone for £19.99 .

  • Mmmm, I'm no expert, but I think the way you painted it with some flaws gave it a bit of a weathered look...... which is not bad at all.

  • Thank you . For a moment i thought i was being criticised over my Paint Skills , even if there not 100% perfect when it comes to Model Making , but thank you for your positive feedback , very honest of you , cheers ! .

    Jason .

  • I have been looking for a easy kit from a us distributor but its proved difficult so im going with the version you have, do u have any advice for me about this model?

  • Just one bit of Advice - if you happen to get hold of this great Kit , make sure you do a decent , and much better , bloody Paint Job then i did , cos as i said on the previous Comment , im still not quite happy with the Red Lines at the back on the top and bottom of my Model .

  • nice model but the painting wasnt the best.

  • True , it's not the best i could have done , but i think i did rather well with the Red Paint strip at the top front half of the Star Destroyer , but the Red Lines at the back from the top and bottom im still not quite happy with .

I much prefer Models like the Star Wars Easy Kits cos they dont require painting ot glueing , they save time in creating them without all the fuss .

  • wow where is that available

  • If you live in the Uk , check out your nearest Model Zone , mines Romford . Unfortunatly , you'll only be able to buy this as an Easy Kit version , cos the Paint and Glue version i have is no longer avalible . The Easy Kit version requires no Paint or Glue , just piece toghter . It costs £19.99 .

  • Is this better than the easykit or do you prefer this?

  • Well i dont have the Easy Kit version of this Model , but if i did have the Easy Kit , i doubt ide have found it more fun to build then this one . I actually do want another Paint and Glue version of this Kit so i can do an Imperial type like YouTuber 00 Fire 501 has done , but Model Zone dont seem to sell this version anymore so an Imperial version done by me seems very unlikely .

  • does it look like that out of the box? no paint?

  • As i said , you have to Paint it .

  • where did u get it

  • If you where paying attention , i said it was a Birthday present from my Dad . He brought it in a Shop called Model Zone which can be found all over the UK .

  • can you get it in canada

  • I dont live there mate so i havint a clue .

You can buy it on Ebay as far as i know , but i dont know any Shops in Canada selling the Model as ive never been there in my life .

  • I was born in the U.K. so can you tell me in pounds

  • £19.99 in Model Zone Stores up and down the UK .

  • thanks dude

    keep up the reviews

  • Your welcome .

Sadly , i dont do Reviewing anymore , it was getting tiresome and my Web-Cam wasint allways giving me the best Picture Quality so i gave up .

  • Lol this was a fairly simple kit. You my friend have not entered my world of building tamiyas 1/350 yamato with 1/350 lionroar yamato photo etching set

  • Thanks . No idea what a Tamiyas , Yamato or Lionroar Yamato is , i take is there Navy Ships , but if i are , i dont do them sort of Models , Models based on modern real life Ships have no interest to me .

  • Yeah Navy Ships. Or try building armour models or a plane model. This isn't too bad. I would have to say the fine molds X-wing and Millenium Falcon looks much more harder than this build.

  • i really like this model i will think about getting this

  • You might only be able to get the Easy Kit version , cos i was in Model Zone recently where my Dad brought this , cos i wanted to do an Imperial Version like 00fire501 , and it seems this version of the Model may no longer be avalible .

  • is it heavy

  • It as heavy as holding a VHS Video with another one on top of it , something like that .

  • doctorwhone did u use spray paint for plastic models for the base colur or brush ?

  • Just ordinary Paint with an ordinary Brush .

Anymore Questions about this Model , just send me a Personnal Message , and do call me Jason instead of my YouTube name .

  • sorry to annoy u again doctor did the model come with the paint ?

  • No . You have to buy the Paint for this . It does come with some Decals thou like those two Circles you see on the top between the long Red Line .

Im hopeing to buy a new one of therese today actually so i can do an Imperial Version just like YouTuber 00FIRE501 has done . Check out his Channel and take a look at his Model on his latest Video .

  • Great review, the ship looks awesome.

  • Thanks . Your Ship looks awesome too , i think i'll pay Model Zone in Romford a visit tomorrow and buy another one so i can do one similar to yours , only costs £19.99 there .

  • Look forward to it.

  • Im not actually doing to do a Review on it , i gave up doing those due to some Computer Problems , but if i do make the Model like yours should i do buy one , i think i'll take some Photo's of it and do a Video , and show it with the one i have .

  • did ur dad paint it all with brush or air brush if u dont know could u ask

  • Like i said on the Review , i painted it .

  • Thanks doctorwhoone i bought one of ebay thanks good man 10/10 im going to subscribe and ill do a video when i get it cheers again

  • @ doctorwhoone im from Australia i want one ! none in shops or ebay u know any shops or sites willing to pay heaps

  • Sorry , but im afraid i do not know . If you where in the UK i would recommend Model Zone to you , but as you live outside the UK im afraid im of no help . I would suggest looking up Google to Model Sites in Australia and see what turns up . If no luck , then i dont know what else to suggest . Sorry .

  • I saw a pic of a super high-detail model with LED lights inside. Looked sweet.

This model is on sale on Amazon right now = Jan 15 10

  • Ive seen a couple of Videos of this Model where People have included LED's . they look fantastic .

Just wondering , why have you written yesterdays date at the end of your Comment ? just seems abit like an odd thing to do .

  • @doctorwhoone Just sayin its on sale at that time and may be for a week or so.

  • It's 43$ on Amazon. Seems to be nice kit. Thinking about buying it.

  • It's worth buying , maybe buying a couple is a good idea , so you can make the one featured on the Box , and another version showing the Venator's without there markings as seen in the last moments of Episode III .

  • did u have to paint it

  • Yeah i did . I would have liked it if it was pre-painted like the Star Wars - Easy Kits , but i enjoyed the " challange " if you like of painting the Model . I used the Box itself and afew pictures off Google as for reference purposes during Painting .

  • you did pretty well at the episode IV star destroyer flyby by the way :)

  • You can get an easy kit one now!!!

  • I'll have to see if Model Zone in Romford do them the next time i pay them a visit . Thanks for telling me .

  • where did u get it.

  • If you where paying attention , i said it was a Birthday Present from my Dad .

You can buy it in Model Zone if you happen to live in the UK , theres one in Romford which is the one i go to .

  • i got the same model for chirstmas, and it looks pretty good

  • great model, thanks for the review!

  • Thank you very much , your welcome .

  • do you have to paint it

  • If you where paying attention , i did say Painting is required on this Model .

  • that thing looks way too new , you should wheater it more!

  • Im happy with it as it is really , but thanks for the suggesstion .

  • it is a venator

  • Yes it is .

  • um its not a star destoyer its an attack cruiser

  • It's called a Star Destroyer on the packaging and a whole load of other things , so it is a Star Destroyer , as it is a Wedge Shaped Space Craft .

  • how much glue and annoyance went into that?

  • No annoyance really . Not much glue was used , just as long as your patient to put it toghter .

  • Does this have any guys?

  • If you mean Guys as in Action Figures , no , it's a Model Kit , not a Toy .

  • revell made?

  • If you read the Video's Title , it does say Revell ! .

  • I like revell products and overcoat tamiya, because I have several models of planes of the second world war. She is one of the best

  • Is it painted already when we Buy the model??

  • If you where listening carefully , i did say during the Review that i painted it .

  • ok some ppl dont get THIS ITS A MODEL! lol not an action figure ship YOU BUY IT FROM A HOBBIE SHOP.

You can also buy at rts with drivers! (they cant move tough u put them the made into siting position

  • Well CP Penguin im real glad you have very good Eye Sight cos alot of People probably still think my Model is Lego .

Thank fully since i did a kinda of Video Responce about that annoying problem , they seem to have stopped , thank the Force for that ! .

  • Why can't I ever find these?

  • Well from what i can see on your Channel , your from the US , so im sure there are Model Shops in the US that do this Model , or one similar to it .

Probably best to have a good browse around on the Internet .

  • I wonder how this compares to the Easy Kit version of the Venator...

  • There isint an Easy Kit version as far as i know . And this Model is from Revell who make the Easy Kits , yet it isisnt an Easy Kit and is the Venator Class , even thou it's called Republic Star Destroyer .

  • is that custom i couldnt hear you

  • It's not custom , it's a real Model , you can tell it was brought cos of the Packaging appearing in my Review .

Best to turn your Volume up cos i allways speak very clearly when i do Reviews .

  • lol if people ask if its lego then there very very stupid it doesnt even look like lego it looks better idiots... XD 5/5

  • Yeah m they are Idiot's . Since i did a kind of Video Responce to hopefully stop People asking me if it's Lego , People have stopped asking me that Question . Im glad really cos it was giving me a right royal Headache at times .

    Thanks for watching .

  • thanks for putting this video your wicked thank you!

  • Thank you very much for watching then , very glad you enjoyed this Review of mine ! .

  • where did you get this? I must find one.... (drools)

  • If you listened carefully , i said it was a Birthday Present from my Dad . You can buy it in a Shop called Model Zone if you happen to live in the UK , the one i go to is in Romford , but there are others all over the Country .

  • how many engine does it have?

  • There are eight in total , two Small , two Medium , and two Larger and slightly longer then the Medium ones .

  • nice review man

  • Thanks for watching ! .

  • it is the venator star cruiser

  • Inknow , but i just named the Video what it said on the packing it came in as seen on the Video .

  • its actualy the venator class crusier, not the republic star destroyer :P

  • Well it is revered to on the Box as Republic , as it was part of the old Republic in Star Wars Saga , so it doesint really matter what it's called .

    Jason .

  • uhhh... whos Jason?

  • Thats me .

  • In my personal opinion it's the best Star Destroyer class out there. Wish I had the model

  • That is ssssssssssooooooooooo awesome!

  • how did u get that im sooooo jealous

  • As i said on the Review , it was a Birthday Present from my Dad .

    Jason .

  • sooooooooooooooooooooooo cooooooooooool man

that must have cost you 50£/$

  • Thanks for watching . Im from Britain so it's Pounds , not Dollars . Im not sure how much it cost as it was a Present as far as i can remember when i did this Review last year .

  • oh cus i thought u were american strangly cus u didnt sound it (im stupid lol)

  • u had to draw or paint it?? it wasnt already made?

  • No it's Painted , thou as you saw on the Video , it does come with Decals , and you have to Build it with Glue .

  • where did you get wal-mart toysrus????

  • Nither of those , it was a Christmas Present from my Father , he brought it in a shop called Model Zone .

    Thanks for watching .

Cheers , Jason [ Doctor Who One ]

  • I`ve only got the Titanium series version.Quite a shame really that I couldn`t get it.But if there was a black one then there would be no questions about it.

  • is there a model of the episode II star destroyers?????????????

  • Revell havint produced any Easy Kit's based on the Attack of the Clones Star Destroyer , the've only done Revenge of the Sith Vehicles and original Trilogy Vehicles as well , thou i am sure other Model Companys no doubt have , best to have a snoop around on the Internet .

Cheers , Jason [ Doctor Who One ]

  • I want this. I have been wondering where to buy it but I can't find it.

  • If you live in or around Romford , theres a shop called Model Zone that sell this Model , it's also avalible in Woolworths , prices vary .

Cheers , Jason [ Doctor Who One ]

  • you might be able to find one in a hobby shop if not you could ask them to order you one

  • ive got this and so has my bro im making a star wars the clone wars in lego but ill use this as the main starship

  • wow its bigger than i thought! im so gonna get it!!

  • is it playable , or atleast hard so i can play with it lightly ?

  • Yes it is playable , just as long as you dont drop it as the two bridges on the top and engines can break off as ive experianced while playing with my one abit to much .

Cheers , Jason [ Doctor Who One ]

  • can i git this kit in the us and how much and were shoud i check

  • Sadly Buffy 056 , i dont live in the USA , i live in Great Britain , so i dont know how much the model costs in America , assuming it is sold in American Model Shops and the like , sorry .

Cheers , Jason [ Doctor Who One ]

  • i've just started building mine. just to fill in some gaps you left. it normally costs 20 pounds from woolworths but i got mine 4 1o because it was on offer. it does come with a plaque but you have to cut it out from the back of the box. :)

  • I dont concider the Info on the back of the Box that you have to cut out as a Plague , but thanks for watching anyway .

Cheers , Jason [ Doctor Who One ]

  • Nice piece of kit. I might actually get this one day. Check out my recently uploaded vids of some other Star Wars model kits. TTFN.

  • apart from the red and yellow did you paint anything else?

  • Yes , the Engines where also painted , Blue on the inside and abit of Black to show dirt and smudges , you have to be patient for me to reply cos im busy sometimes and you comented twice , all my comments require my approval , it says " Comment Pending Approval " once you've posted your comment so you have to be patient .

Cheers , Jason [ Doctor Who One ]

  • very nice model! i love anything clone trooper related

  • Ya know, I like the Republic Star Destroyer better than the Imperial version of it...

Most likely because it has more color than grey XD

  • Plus it has a cooler shape. And more engines. And is more streamlined. Hell, I could go on for days...

  • I'm glad they released that.

  • You didn't say how long it took to make it, it looked hard to build, was it? *****stars;)

  • Oh yeah , i forgot about that , dame brain of mine , it took about 30 minutes from taking each piece off there frames and putting each section toghter .

Cheers , Jason [ Doctor Who One ]

  • Wow, brilliant review, might buy that myself! 10/10 and cant wait for your next review! And as it was so good, its been favourited! :D

  • Another great review

Oh and by the way, sorry if I don't leave very long comments on your 6 star wars reviews. Its nothing to do with the review, its just because I'm not a fan of star wars ;)

  • Ah thats ok , i wouldint be annoyed of you if you didint comment .

Cheers , Jason [ Doctor Who One ]

  • cool 10/10

  • Hi Steve , thanks for watching pal , by the way , when am i gonna get mentioned on one of your videos cos you said you was ? .

Cheers , Jason [ Doctor Who One ]

  • Ooh crikey, I completely forgot about that hehe. oops =S lol. I will be reviewing Commander Fox today so I'll give ya a shoutout then!

  • Ah thought as much , i thought you forgot to mention me , still looking forward to Commander Fox later today !!!!.

Cheers , Jason [ Doctor Who One ]

  • Commander Fox is a Target exclusive here but I`m surprised that it`s only $12.99 because the fancy case and the 1 per customer rule makes it more valuable.
