I dont include Brazil 1982 because it was heavily defeated by Italy, yes the final result was 3 -2 but

PAOLOROSSSSI incedibly was wrong with 2 goals (see again the match and you will see) and Socrates goal was due to a very big mistake of Zoff

If they had access to the equipment, physical prepare and tecnology of these days they would pretty much destroy everybody else the same way they did in 1970. Sure, they would have to play it faster and they would probably have to dribble more, but they would still win.Jairzinho and Rivelino played in their clubs always marked by at least one other player, they knew how to handle rough games. And the defense wasn't that bad, Felix was able to stop the english team and the italians.

Italy had a good team back in 1970. Its stars were Gigi Riva and Gianni Rivera. But the Brazilian team was just unbeatable. It didn´t have a good defence, except for its right half, team captain Carlos Alberto, who was an excellent player. But Brazil's most distinctive feature was its unforgettable line of forwards: Jairzinho, Gerson, Tostao, Pele and Rivelino. The best I've ever seen!

Italy were an excellent side in 1970 with many great players - Facchetti, Riva, Mazzola, Boninsegna. They gave Brazil a hard game until Gerson's goal in the 65th minute. They tired towads the end after playng 120mins against West Germany but Brazil were the best side in the tournament and probably the best side we've ever seen, certainly in attack. But that Italian side deserves respect.
