The machine is an EOS laser sintering machine. The parts are ready to use right off the machine. The chamber at 5:20 is an oven but only to stress relieve the parts. As produced the parts are fully dense. We use cryogenic processing to remove the stress. For the M250 there are two powders Direct metal and direct steel.Direct metal is a bronze/nickle matrix powder.Direct Steel is a tool steel powder.Its a neat machine for certain items,we use ours primarily for plastic injection mold tooling.

I'm guessing that's a high temperature oven. Sintered parts still need to be fully fused together.
DMLM (Direct Metal Laser Melting) would not require this additional step, afaik.

It's a high pressure oven which hardens the otherwise powdery, weak and easily breakable material.
