Now, according to Vampire LORE, the stories that have been passed down from generation to generation for centuries, these are the elements and weapons required to fight off a Vampire attack. Now, if you're talking about the sparkly "vampires" that Hollywood made up to sell movie tickets to teenagers, that's a whole other story and set of LORE.
