This guy is weak as piss. Was straining on second rep! Legs too far back putting stress on lumbar spine- it's a hip pivot movement - no lumbar movement at all. I'm not a fan of hands under your arse either. It gives your hips anterior rotation which again puts load on the lumbar area. Sorry bro, points for effort, but if you're going to put exercises on youtube, get them right and perform them with perfect technique, otherwise stay in your garage.
@mattyhammer75 LOL. where are your videos anyway?Don't just mock, show us the proper way. Or the more anatomical or kinesiologically appropriate manner of doing leg raises
@greenpokerchip - Bro, there are enough videos on here with people performing excellent technique without me adding my two cents worth. Unfortunately plenty of people who think they know something about exercise instruction feel the need to add to the conglomeration of pathetic attempts at instruction as well. Leave it to the pros....please!!!
Are you aware that this actually primarily works the abs along with the rest of the anterior pelvic chain, and has very little emphasis on the lower back? I think perhaps you zoned out when you made your description.
WOrking the pelvic chain to develop natural back support from the core is different than working the lower back. This does the former, not the latter.
Are you supposed to raise your hips off the ground and use the lower abs as the pivot point? Is this the correct way to make the exercise focus on training the lower abs as opposed to the hips?

Not trying to mock your video or anything, because it is a good video...
but when you do your leg raise you pull your legs back too far.. it takes the strain from your abs.
