For the record Jami, I discovered your music after playing braid, and to say that I've become obsessed would be an understatement of monolithic proportions. You are a master of your craft.
Elephants are such marvellous animals. So big, so powerful, and yet so gentle. When I'm at the zoo, I always stand in respect and awe near the Elephants.
I've discovered you indirectly from playing the game braid, and I just wanted to say your music is soulful and beautiful. I love things that convey a feeling or idea in an unorthodox way like your music does to me.
Love the music and the cello; it has re-inspired me to make music to share with the world instead of just "hiding away." Peace and Love... Lord, coming from me! Inspiration at it's best.
Hi Jami, I love your song 'Tell It By The Heart' that was used in Braid, but the only version on YouTube was removed for copyright violation. Would you be able to post it yourself? Thanks, really do enjoy all of your work!
Hi- I can't post Tell it By Heart on You Tube but I can put it on my Myspace account. I will try and get it up there within the week. You can also purchase the song from my website if you are interested.
Jami...I once offered to be a human conductor of electricity for you...I now live in Oxford England. They would love you here...come...and I will be your human conductor of electricity...here it is 220 volts !
Someone is trying to bring me to England- maybe someday I will get there. Do you want to be added to my mailing list? I will let you know when I get there......
A human conductor of electricity- that is an interesting offer.
This is so beautiful! Very moving to see the trunk of an elephant reach towards the music, reach and caress another elephant. Thank you for showing us these amazing animals, a real connection. Our world can be so beautiful...
Absolutely beautiful....your music is very moving. I totally believe that that elephants were reacting to your music, Jami! Thank you for sharing...I am sure that you had a wonderful time with our ele friends in Thailand!
Wow! How can anyone ever be around these animals and not realize that they are so much like us? If they can react to music and show the love that they do, cry when in pain or distress...how are they different from us????
Absolutely, fishmarc! I would actually like to see and hear the actual video of Jami standing amongst the elephants to see what happened between takes! I love the Mama elephant caressing the baby! It HAD to be the Mama elephant! An elephant Mother's love for her baby is so obvious an undeniable. How can humans even THINK of separating them? Especially by something so unthinkable as culling. LOVE THE ELEPHANTS!!! :)
lavender: Amen to that. We must stop all use and abuse of elephants. Have you seen the crushing video of how they train babies in Thailand? It makes me screaming mad.

The really inspiring piece of yours is "Hidden Sky" from the same album. It's a pity that I can't listen to it too often. The most breathing one.
Though it could be quite strange, thank you for using Magnatune as the place for your music.
