  • Cool God bless you, Arun

  • sorry...imho he has spoiled it. It is a song about toddler Ram that is learning to walk - the poet describes it beautifully, even if you are not religious you can ejoy it. There is not much room for the verbal gymnastics and acrobatics he is engaging in. Please listen to Pt. DV Paluskars version and you know the difference..

  • I think the ragam is jinjhūti.

  • it is simply an elevating music

    arun sir

    u r great

    lakshmanan

  • do you have the lyrics for this song?

  • Suban Allah! wah kya kaha,Apne Shri Ram Chander hain hi aise, bolat Mukh Madur Madur---Raag ki bandish kaafi achhi hai.Wah! bahut madur

  • oh, its beautiful, pl its meaning. ineed, can u send??????????, i imagine rama childhoodd..

  • awsome...!!!

  • Subhanallah. Beautiful Bhajan.

  • when i have a child and she/e performs their aragetram im definatley calling OS arun to sing for it !

  • Excellent!!

I think thumak chalat is set in "chenchurutti" or "jhenjhootti".

  • This piece is not in Dwijavanthi Raaga..... please check.... It sounds like Peelu or Mishra Peelu

  • This song is in a Hindustani raga called Jaijaivanti. In Carnatic, it is called Dwijavanti (Jaijaivanti = 2 jaivanti = Dwi-javanti).

Arguably, Peelu, Mishra Peelu, Kapi, etc. sound similar to this.

  • This piece doesn't have Dwijavanthi in it at all.... Actually it sounds like Dwijavanthi but IS NOT ..... please check again.... :)

  • Initial part sounds like Pilu to my ears. But then when he starts with the bhajan, some part sounds like Dwijavanthi (close resemblance to the way Lataji sings it)

  • my Guruma taught me this bhajan and said its misra. Not based on one raga.

  • LOVELY VOICE,has anyone got any fusion.

  • He is a phenomenal singer. I was there to see the most extraordinary programme on the 31st of dec 2007.

  • thanksss yar i am great ful to u

  • Carnaticopia ji,
