There's a lot of editorializing in this segment and it only serves to derail serious investigative efforts in this case. Colleen Cason and some cop indicate that the ONS probably followed Charlene Smith home from downtown Ventura. This is preposterous. There isn't a doubt in my mind that the guy picked a neighborhood filled with soft targets, not random women on the street.
