  • One of the best air rifle reviews on YouTube. Thanks a lot.

  • Nice vid man

  • where might i get this beauty?

  • @sweettooth80 our local Walmart and Cabelas stock these models

  • @sweettooth80 Amazon.com

  • really liked your video, it really shows the ability of a pellet gun.

  • the cabella would have done more damage inside meat!

  • Great video. fully detailed, and ive never seen a better penetration test in other videos. ONE QUESTION! :) Do you guys recommend a bipod on the crosman phantom? if so which one!

  • @MrSpecdelta if I was going to shoot from a bench mainly, I might consider a bipod, but we generally shoot in amny conditions, and it is just more weight and gear management

  • @usframe Hmm good point. Thank you for the advice and remarkable video! May i suggest a :"How to Zero in a Scope" Video :D NOT MANY well explained videos on youtube

  • you can tell by that way more distinct and sharper "Crack" sound when you switch from the standard lead pellet to the PBA golds that there is an increased velocity. The lead was a more softer and lighter "Crack" sound.

  • Just so you know, the rail for the scope is called a "weaver rail", the "Dove tail" is a common style of the rear open sight. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I'm just being nit picky, Otherwise great video, keep em up!

  • I have this rifle...and let me tell ya'll, it's the best rifle you can get under 100 dollars and worth the money!!

  • That was a pretty cool cross section, I'm surprised at those alloy pellets. I think the lead would be better for hunting, they should have better foot pounds of energy and the tumble and break up should do more damage internally.

  • @mrwiggles2 also would use lead to hunt

  • Are your sights bright on night?cause i have this gun and my sights are not visible on night.

    Sorry for my bad english.

  • @AlexaBC97 they do not glow

  • @AlexaBC97 try a 9-4x32 scope with illumination i use that except for mine is not illuminated, i love this gun i killed a coyote at 25 yards with lead ammo great gun.

  • @hotrodwesman i have 2-6x32 scope with green and red light. that's ok for me,but do you know any good bipod for this gun cause it shakes alot when i shoot from hand,i must to put gun on some table or something like that so i can get steady aim.

  • @AlexaBC97 no i do not but i'm sure that ure local gunstore has somesort of bipod that clamps on the barrel if not idk but if u use a bipod then u have to prop the bipod on a table or something anyways, so to save u the trouble of finding a bipod try getting a trigger stick used for deer hunting if u dont know wat im talking about try googleing it then u will knoww. hopefully i helped you.

  • @hotrodwesman tnx.

  • Yes I was looking at your other videos. and would like to know if you can please tell me what rifle you like the most the 2100 or the phantom? and what are you dislike and likes? Thanks you very much.

  • @MrEricdgreat well, 2100 uses both bb and pellet, that's good, but needs pumping to arm. Phantom is pellet only but repeat shots are faster in loading. 2100 is also much lighter in weight. The Phantom seems to be more accurate, usually that is user dependent.

  • I love how grown men can cock one of those 1000fps rifles like a red ryder! Man I can't wait to be that strong! Well, what better that a 1000fps air rifle to exersise with!

  • @MrBagginsEsq well, you being a hobbit and all....

  • @usframe haha! Literally that was real good!

  • is the body plastic?

  • @SuperChrismccall composite, its got weight to it and doesn't feel cheap at all

  • @jakethemistake19 that is it exactly, thanks!

  • @hockeyface20000 At the ranges we shoot, under 25 yds mostly, they all do well. No favorite as yet.

  • awesome video, you guys are very good and entertaining. Its very interesting

  • @evile1174 thanks for visiting!

  • @mandude84 you know, having all sorts, I don't really mind breaking it to load a pellet. But the 2100 will require pumping.

  • excelente sigue subiendo videos de este tipo

  • Please come check out my channel I hav not posted videos yet but will if u have any question or would like 2 watch videos about pellet guns pleas check me out my name pelletgundude123 this is my other channel just about pellet guns

  • @888pineapple888 it has an 11 mm dovetail

  • although this also does worry me, cuz if(when) i miss with this gun, its going right through my fence and into my neightbors car.

  • @thebowlzack yeah, a backstop might matter in that instance!

  • why does nobody else have penetration tests on these guns??? im so glad i found this!!!

  • i thought it was a .22? cause in w mart it is a 22 cal

  • @exolt1357 think that is the 500 model, you are right, .22

  • @usframe does it shoot .177 cal pellets?

  • @exolt1357 our model is in .177

  • where did you get that gun?

  • @exolt1357 w-mart

  • i bought this gun...best desicion ever lol...i customized it with a silver trimm and it looks sick

  • nice i got the same gun but w/ scope

  • @dll1958 we appreciate the comment

  • i have one of thes but i have a 4x26 millatary scope

  • If they were inside would they hear it

  • @hellowhatsuphaha probably not

  • Um I am probably going to get this but will it let my neighbors know I am shooting if they are outside like maybe 50 feet away

  • @hellowhatsuphaha yes, but it's not like a "gunshot" unless using supersonic.

  • fun times had by all.. very interesting guys!

  • @hinckleypoland thanks for stopping by!

  • Interesting to see the penetration. Those are fun little guns to shoot.

  • @Cr0cket20 the spring adds a little kick on release, nice for simulation

  • Hey guys I couldn't find the Cabelas hunting points on their website. Looked like they expanded well and would prove more lethal than the others on small rodents. Do you have a catalog number for those?

  • @unknownperpetrator yes, the lead pellets reacted well. We bought them in store. I see them online, search "cabelas hunting pellet," then choose the Outfitter Series link

  • Those crazy Germans and their pellets!

  • Hey I want my turn with the bb gun, I mean pellet rifle

  • @CampfireTalk Hah! you can be right after me... or before me because I think you will get as much trigger time either way. And talking bb, except for all the pumping, I still like shooting bbs with the Crosman 2100. Although the rodents do not seem to enjoy it.

  • Wow, strong pellet ; ) cool with the cut! Have a great Day, my friends, Sepp

  • @Waldhandwerk thanks for stopping by Sepp. Do you fellas ever hunt/trap your game for campfire meals?

  • @usframe ...sadly it's strictly forbidden to set up traps and snares or hunt here..., so we have to buy death animals in the store ; ) Happy Day, Sepp

  • Great video . Nice small game dispacher

  • @krazy45cat and no shortage of that here, it will have its day for yard and shop "maintenance" I am sure

  • Wow! Pulled the Chrony out for the pellet gun! You fellas are truly DaBombDotCom! -- BTW...That velocity is right up there with Gamo's rifles! I'm impressed!

  • @AppalachianFreedom fun to find out what numbers can be realized vs the story on the box

  • Great video. I'm with thawkins426...Looks like you've got the solution to your hungry hungry caterpillar situation.

  • @HawkLMT next time brother, next time.

  • Nice job guys love the comparison with cross sectioning keep up the good work.

  • @rchopp I find investigating and experimenting as much fun as shooting.

  • Crystal / American Airgunner has got you two BEAT! sorry guys, lol

  • Nice test and video!

  • great analysis

  • You ought to try it out on those big worms in you garden, probably like an organic ballistics gel

  • @thawkins426 thought of that after it was mashed on the street

  • my pellet gun throws .243 pellets at 3200 fps. But it makes a little more noise then yours.....
