@WayneTatum I actually live in the region, and I also happen to be a Venezuelan citizen and have been there quite a few times. So I think I have a better idea of what really goes in the ground and how the average Venezuelan feels about him, not what his state television tries to put up. I think Venezuela is the 4th largest seller of oil to the US, Chavez forgets to mention that when he calls the US the 'devil'.
There are so many good common sense has been written here , but it is the silly governments of the west who think because Iran's regime is nasty , this gives right to idioits to invade or attack Iran. Listen to the word of reason! talke, make amends, compromise and work and DO NOT GIVE IN TO isreal's PROVOKATION! obama is another silly idioit just like, camron, sarcozy and the arch bitch, merkel! IRAN WOULD NOT KISS ASS!
Obama does not realize if Iran can’t sell their oil than they have nothing to lose. This is going to back lash at them soon, it is just a matter of time. U.S is not going to be winner in this.
Politics, economics, religion, military, film & TV, corporate, industrial..... They are the major power bases and they are ALL inextricably tied together.
Are they really think these sanctions will stop Iran from getting to nuclear power and nuclear fuel?! It's just putting more and more pressure on Iranians.I'm agree with Trita Parsi that says it wouldn't help to built democracy inside Iran. All of the opposition party the green movement is not happy with these sanctions too.
Quote Marc Gerecht: "that you have a regime, that quite has literally in his dna "terrorism, hostage taking, embassy sacking" thats [...] hardly democratic." And the CIA did what?
@youknowitsallover Marc Gerecht is SHIT HEAD! He dares condemning Iran when this own country RIGGED the election back in 2008 and now with Ron Paul in Iowa. Democracy my ass. The people in the U.S have less public voice than the 3rd world countries and the media is being controlled by big corporation and Neo-Con Zionists. Marc Gerecht should be a prison mate with Bill O'Reilly!
Don't worry, there are plenty other countries in this world who would trade with Iran. Not all of us are the US & Israel's bitches. Maybe we should buy oil from Iran and then sell it back to the EU countries for higher price. HAHAHA!
I think that the US needs to seriously re-consider the economic sanctions strategy and works towards building diplomatic relations with Iran. As the reporter mentioned, sanctions have more negative effects than positive if you just look at historical data. Isolating a nation can only increase hostilities. Iran has reasons to fear the US and Europe so it is a natural instinct to pursuit nuclear weapons if it can. We just invaded Iraq and they obviously don't want to suffer the same fate.
@TRYCLOPS1 Actually, this all happen because of Israel. If Iran has a nuclear weapon what are the chances they are able to launch it from their country to the US soils? It's too damn far away. On the other hand, Israel is nearby. Let's be honest here, the US is nothing to lose there but the problem is, most of the politicians and the congress in the US are either being bought or being influence by the Jews (NeoCon Zionists). That's why they're eager to attack Iran.
Sanction are not ideal but don't forget that when Obama first came to power he made a very public attempt to reach out to Iran to become friends and allow them to have a civilian nuclear program with the aid of allot of other countries. Its a shame no one mentioned that in this debate and that going through that again would buy Iran enough time to finish their bomb.
Unfortunately Iran has its self to blame for leaving the west with only two options sanctions or military.
@TRYCLOPS1 Diplomatic relations would be nice... How do you resolve putting the lives of innocent American diplomats at risk in light of recent attacks against the UK embassy and the hostage crisis perpetrated by Iran in 1979?
@AmericanPatriot53 I know man. It's a tough situation. But if we were able to not go into a nuclear war with Russia and managed to achieve peace that way, we can surely manage to make peace (Iran and US). Trust me man, everything has a solution. We don't need to start by putting a US embassy there. We can use another country's embassy to send a couple of diplomats, secretly and publicly (depending on the conditions). We can also meet at the UN or at neutral countries!
@AmericanPatriot53 I can keep naming possible solutions. They all involve talking, negotiating, trading, meetings. However this cannot be done without the willingness of both leaderships. Its going to take some work and careful intelligence and analysis, but one thing is for sure; A direct military conflict will put more US citizens at risk, iranian civilians too and will be a lot more expensive! (How does 150 trilion sound to you?). Do the math man, I beg you.
@TRYCLOPS1 The US interacts with Iran through the Swiss embassy in Tehran. I support dialogue but with no preconditions as the Iranians have demanded in the past. Western embassies in Tehran are downsizing as a result of sacking the British Embassy there. I agree with Tehran that Syrian situation is a direct attack on Iran (a very effective attack I might add) I expect the fall of Assad in the next 6 months. Iran again threatens to close the straits of hormuz. This is all that is needed to
@AmericanPatriot53 Hey thaks for replying. Remember the british embassy was "attacked" because of the sanctions. It was dumb of them to do it but retaliation is in human nature I guess. I'm not justifying them though. I'm against military conflict even if its just air or if it escalates into war. Sanctions are going to affect not only Iran. S. Korea, Japan and many European nations NEED Iran's oil. Dictatorships commit more crimes when they're isolated. And Obama sucks anyway!
@TRYCLOPS1 justify an all out assault on Iranian Nuclear and military targets. If Iran is allowed to close the straits and Obama does nothing, the American people will throw him out of office as he will be seen to be what he is a weak and ineffective leader. Military confrontation will be limited to Air and Sea action unless Iran moves against US ground forces in Kuwait. When the cost is calculated it is not done so in dollars but in control of resources lost or gained. Iran is stuck either they
@AmericanPatriot53 And Iranians have been bombed by Israeli air forces. Name me one time when Iran attacked another nation prehemptively in the last 3 decades? This war propaganda man is just for interests of the rich. If Iran gets overthrown it will become even more fundamentalist as its already happening in Lybia, Syria and Iraq. I strongly believe that if we want them to change, we need to keep trading and let things flow. Humanity has a long history of progression.
@TRYCLOPS1 Military actions by Israel on Iranian forces at any time in history, however just as Iran has done, covert action seems to be constant with all parties concerned more with deniability than morality. Any thought that you can change the Iranian people is as misguided as thinking they can change us. The anti government anti mullah forces in Iran are quite large but they are Iranian first and will not side with external forces.
@TRYCLOPS1 fight and lose or they collapse politically at home thus bringing an end to the tyranny of the mullahs against the Iranian people. Either way the Mullahs days of control in Iran are numbered.
@AmericanPatriot53 Don't get me wrong man, I'm not in favor of Iran's regime or whatever but I'm in favor of peace, unless its necessary (like in a case of WW2?). A war with Iran not only will hurt us economically and hurt our defense, but it will hurt our relations with surrounding countries. It will increase tensions with Russia and China, Pakistan and even India. Obama needs to move out and let Ron Paul show them how its done. (and btw we still don't have proof of nukes)
@TRYCLOPS1 Like I said, any US military action will be the result of Iranian military action. (I accept that the Iranians may be provoked but not justified). China absolutely does not want a wider war and Chinese officials on a recent mid east tour went to Saudi and Qatar but ignored Iran on the trip. Given current tensions this was a clear political signal to Iran. Russia is the biggest backer of Iran, not beacause of oil but for regional influence and to foster a dwindling coalition of former
@TRYCLOPS1 Russian/Soviet clients... i.e. Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua. China has virtually no ability to project military power outside its' borders (they are working to change this) and the Russian ability has been severely limited. Consequently WW III is very unlikely regardless of what RT and Press TV say. No one says they have nukes only that they are developing the capability. (North Korea was a signatory to the NPT like Iran until they exploded their first device)
@TRYCLOPS1 Finally, while I love Ron Pauls fiscal policy his foreign policy needs a serious rethinking. Ron Paul is probably the most decent guy running for president, unfortunately a "decent" guy is not what we need. In order to be really effective in this political/economic climate we need a real S.O.B. and that man is Gingrich. Remember no one liked Nixon but in his time he ended US involvement in VIetnam and opened the door to China. A highly effective S.O.B. we need another one.
@AmericanPatriot53 Wow, I was actually taking you seriously until you mentioned Gingrich. That guy is a total hypocrite and political scum. He's no patriot of the US. At least RP knows something about war because he served in the Air Force. I'm no political expert, but I can identify scum pretty quick and that guy is garbage. He was forced to resign as speaker... In my opinion RP is the only competent candidate and his fp is the best. Cut foreign aid until we balance budgets!
@TRYCLOPS1 I agree on foreign aid and I'm not kidding about Gingrich. If you watched todays debate even RP said that he approved of Gingrichs Fisscal policy, it is the Foreign Policy where they differ. Gingrich is a self serving politico, he does not have RPs moral compass. At issue is my contention that morality has no place on the geopolitical stage. A moral man like RP will be unsucessful in the same manner that Jimmy Carter was. Moprality can be taken too far on the geopolitical stage.
@TRYCLOPS1 Example, the Palestinian problem. The moral answer is to give the Palestinians back the land they previously occupied prior to 1948. Clearly this is an unworkable proposal although it is a moral one. An even bigger example would be to give back all the land in the Americas, Austrailia, and New Zealand to the indiginous peoples, this would be moral but completely idiotic. My point is especially in time of conflict that morality takes a back seat to political viability.
@AmericanPatriot53 The palestinian problem is more complex than that. But its not going to be solved by imprisoning them in a small piece of land or by denying their existance. We deffinately leave Israel to deal with their own problems so we don't get dragged into the same conflict. Israel already moderates our media so we should deal with that too. Almost nobody here knows about the 2008 massacre in Gaza with more than 1300 ppl killed by Israeli bombings and chemical weapons
@TRYCLOPS1 I spent my career in the service. RPs foreign policy starts with the closure of all foreign bases. It does not take into account the economic and political importance that control of major trade routes have on political alliances and economic activity. Foreign military deployment guarantees the free flow of trade and vital resources. WIthdrawl is to cede control to other regional powers and hegemons thus encouraging our own economic demise and their (China) ascension.
@AmericanPatriot53 In war there is no moral. You sure are right on that one. That's why it needs to be a last resort. First of all, RP does not plan to close all the bases. Even if he tried I don't think he would be able to. I understand about the trade routes. China is already ascending. They don't have an army as strong, but at the time it will be impossible for us to invade them and win in case of war. You want a leader that is not hesitant. That's in your nature and mine.
@AmericanPatriot53 In fact, that's in most animals' nature. Wolves decide leadership at a young age. The one that takes it is the one that just doesn't hesitate to show agression and be confident about it. Size doesn't matter but the attitude. We are animals too. But human civilizations are a little more complex than that. And a simple action without a good analythical thought can be devastating. Iraq is an example. If we go to war with Iran, China won't ascend, but we descend
@AmericanPatriot53 But anyway I think you are wrong in believing Gingrich would actually be beneficial for the country (and I bet money on it). However you seem a little informed on at least part of it. Our economic crisis is going to be our demise if we don't act now. RP is the only one who has an actual plan. RP is the only one who even discuss monetary policy! The rest are just garbage. They can't even bring substance to a debate. This country deserves better.
@TRYCLOPS1 While the US is fully capable of defeating China in a regional conflict, invasion is a completely different matter. Thats why we will not invade Iran, with it's huge Basij force and proud people it would be a nightmare. Naval and Air only in the case of Iran closing the straiits. China is building it's first foreign military base in the Seychelles. This will help protect its interests in central Africa. US interests really center around the Med and North Africa.
@AmericanPatriot53 I know but what are we gonna do just keep expanding? Is it just not possible to cut some bases and see how it goes and whenever we solve the economic issues we go back if China expands too much? We need to cut foreign spending and start from 0. We need to either re-evaluate all foreign aid or just cut it all or seriously decrease it until we balance the budget cutting taxes and restructure a better economic environment for lucrative and social balance.
@AmericanPatriot53 We need to focus a lot on domestic affairs. Clean up Bush and Obama's mess. There are a lot of policies that make this country less efficient and money shouldn't be wasted like that. And sure, you and me can say that they would never be that stupid as to send a ground attack on Iran but you and me know that this government is capable of doing that shit man. I know RP most likely wouldn't do that, but a person like Newt would take the risk! I rather be safe.
@TRYCLOPS1 Some bases can/have been cut but new bases open up. Philippines has asked for US warships to base again in the Philippines to counter Chinese intrusion into Spratleys. 2500 Marines to Austrailia simply to send a message. Newt would listen to competent military advice. Obamas speech today stole the Republican arguement of US Energy (Hes just figuring this out now?). But it's US energy first and production second. Wipe out foreign Aid and Deped thats a trillion in savings over 10 yrs.
@AmericanPatriot53 So you think selecting a hypocritical idiot coward as a president is a good thing for national security... Gingrich is only going to follow whatever they pay him to follow. If they pay him for war he will make war. Don't think he's going to care how many americans will die. And Ron Paul will take military advice but he will make up his own decision unlike Bush, that will take any advice and act without hesitation or analysis. Send me an inbox to continue.
@TRYCLOPS1 iran doesnt like you though?.. they dont give a fuck what you have to say, honestly you retard americans havent figured out that the whole world hates you and wants your country to be invaded.. your all like: "we have to be nice to iran and then they wont try to fuck us up and the whole world will like us better when we simply elect ron paul, and everyone in the world will forget about all the war crimes our people commited" they dont want an alliance, they want to see you destroyed.
@AfrikaaBombeetza Hi. You're saying Iran doesn't like me. However they don't know me, but I'm sure if they did they will like me. As a matter of fact I have a few Iranian friends here in Texas. People of all nations come here and most are friends here, jews, arabs etc. I am puertorrican so my island is a colony of the US but we get citizenship. I am aware of the wrong doings of this gov but it will change, have some hope! It's up to you and me to spread the message for peace!
@AfrikaaBombeetza And trust me I know people inside the US that want to destroy this imperialistic government too. I'm from a colony of the US originally so I have seen both sides. There are two ways of defeating imperialism. War or through peace. War is the last resort in my view. But, if a peaceful resolution can't be achieved... I assure you, peope here will fight the government, even though the US army is scary as shit. Right now, ignorance is our worst enemy. Lets educate!
this white bastard has no empathy for brown or black people. everyone was against the sanctions, except this white bastard. he don't care about the browns suffering. i think he's a racist.
@salamut2202 That's not the point, friend. They want to create excuses to attack Iran just like WMD claimed in Iraq. And they know that most people have no time to do the research like you do to find the truth.
@salamut2202 I never said EVERYONE but most of them. They just don't care. To them, all Muslims are terrorist and it doesn't matter whether it's Sunni or Shiite.
@salamut2202 Iran is definetetly NOT supporting al-qaeda. They have their own "terrorist organisation" (hamas). Al-Qaeda is mostly sponsered by rich-single-persons from Saudi-Arabia or from other parts of the world.
@youknowitsallover Yeah, I knew that, but the claim between AQ and Iran was the thing I was getting at, Although Hamas has had less funding from Iran. The Saudi groups are oil funded though, North America and Europe have no idea what they fund when they exploit another's resources.

Does anybody know If I can get a work visa to Iran....Sounds 1 hundred times better than America.
gamesgoodfirebad 1 month ago

HAHAHA!
Jimipedia 1 month ago
I think that the US needs to seriously re-consider the economic sanctions strategy and works towards building diplomatic relations with Iran. As the reporter mentioned, sanctions have more negative effects than positive if you just look at historical data. Isolating a nation can only increase hostilities. Iran has reasons to fear the US and Europe so it is a natural instinct to pursuit nuclear weapons if it can. We just invaded Iraq and they obviously don't want to suffer the same fate.
TRYCLOPS1 1 month ago 24
@TRYCLOPS1 Actually, this all happen because of Israel. If Iran has a nuclear weapon what are the chances they are able to launch it from their country to the US soils? It's too damn far away. On the other hand, Israel is nearby. Let's be honest here, the US is nothing to lose there but the problem is, most of the politicians and the congress in the US are either being bought or being influence by the Jews (NeoCon Zionists). That's why they're eager to attack Iran.
Jimipedia 1 month ago
@TRYCLOPS1
Floweringlotus 1 month ago
@TRYCLOPS1 Diplomatic relations would be nice... How do you resolve putting the lives of innocent American diplomats at risk in light of recent attacks against the UK embassy and the hostage crisis perpetrated by Iran in 1979?
AmericanPatriot53 1 month ago
@AmericanPatriot53 I know man. It's a tough situation. But if we were able to not go into a nuclear war with Russia and managed to achieve peace that way, we can surely manage to make peace (Iran and US). Trust me man, everything has a solution. We don't need to start by putting a US embassy there. We can use another country's embassy to send a couple of diplomats, secretly and publicly (depending on the conditions). We can also meet at the UN or at neutral countries!
TRYCLOPS1 1 month ago
@AmericanPatriot53 I can keep naming possible solutions. They all involve talking, negotiating, trading, meetings. However this cannot be done without the willingness of both leaderships. Its going to take some work and careful intelligence and analysis, but one thing is for sure; A direct military conflict will put more US citizens at risk, iranian civilians too and will be a lot more expensive! (How does 150 trilion sound to you?). Do the math man, I beg you.
TRYCLOPS1 1 month ago
@TRYCLOPS1 The US interacts with Iran through the Swiss embassy in Tehran. I support dialogue but with no preconditions as the Iranians have demanded in the past. Western embassies in Tehran are downsizing as a result of sacking the British Embassy there. I agree with Tehran that Syrian situation is a direct attack on Iran (a very effective attack I might add) I expect the fall of Assad in the next 6 months. Iran again threatens to close the straits of hormuz. This is all that is needed to
AmericanPatriot53 1 month ago
@AmericanPatriot53 Hey thaks for replying. Remember the british embassy was "attacked" because of the sanctions. It was dumb of them to do it but retaliation is in human nature I guess. I'm not justifying them though. I'm against military conflict even if its just air or if it escalates into war. Sanctions are going to affect not only Iran. S. Korea, Japan and many European nations NEED Iran's oil. Dictatorships commit more crimes when they're isolated. And Obama sucks anyway!
TRYCLOPS1 1 month ago
@TRYCLOPS1 justify an all out assault on Iranian Nuclear and military targets. If Iran is allowed to close the straits and Obama does nothing, the American people will throw him out of office as he will be seen to be what he is a weak and ineffective leader. Military confrontation will be limited to Air and Sea action unless Iran moves against US ground forces in Kuwait. When the cost is calculated it is not done so in dollars but in control of resources lost or gained. Iran is stuck either they
AmericanPatriot53 1 month ago
@AmericanPatriot53 And Iranians have been bombed by Israeli air forces. Name me one time when Iran attacked another nation prehemptively in the last 3 decades? This war propaganda man is just for interests of the rich. If Iran gets overthrown it will become even more fundamentalist as its already happening in Lybia, Syria and Iraq. I strongly believe that if we want them to change, we need to keep trading and let things flow. Humanity has a long history of progression.
TRYCLOPS1 1 month ago
@TRYCLOPS1 Military actions by Israel on Iranian forces at any time in history, however just as Iran has done, covert action seems to be constant with all parties concerned more with deniability than morality. Any thought that you can change the Iranian people is as misguided as thinking they can change us. The anti government anti mullah forces in Iran are quite large but they are Iranian first and will not side with external forces.
AmericanPatriot53 1 month ago
@TRYCLOPS1 Kind of messed up my reply, please see the unaddressed comment by me as part of my full reply.
AmericanPatriot53 1 month ago
@TRYCLOPS1 fight and lose or they collapse politically at home thus bringing an end to the tyranny of the mullahs against the Iranian people. Either way the Mullahs days of control in Iran are numbered.
AmericanPatriot53 1 month ago
@AmericanPatriot53 Don't get me wrong man, I'm not in favor of Iran's regime or whatever but I'm in favor of peace, unless its necessary (like in a case of WW2?). A war with Iran not only will hurt us economically and hurt our defense, but it will hurt our relations with surrounding countries. It will increase tensions with Russia and China, Pakistan and even India. Obama needs to move out and let Ron Paul show them how its done. (and btw we still don't have proof of nukes)
TRYCLOPS1 1 month ago
@TRYCLOPS1 Like I said, any US military action will be the result of Iranian military action. (I accept that the Iranians may be provoked but not justified). China absolutely does not want a wider war and Chinese officials on a recent mid east tour went to Saudi and Qatar but ignored Iran on the trip. Given current tensions this was a clear political signal to Iran. Russia is the biggest backer of Iran, not beacause of oil but for regional influence and to foster a dwindling coalition of former
AmericanPatriot53 1 month ago
@TRYCLOPS1 Russian/Soviet clients... i.e. Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua. China has virtually no ability to project military power outside its' borders (they are working to change this) and the Russian ability has been severely limited. Consequently WW III is very unlikely regardless of what RT and Press TV say. No one says they have nukes only that they are developing the capability. (North Korea was a signatory to the NPT like Iran until they exploded their first device)
AmericanPatriot53 1 month ago
@TRYCLOPS1 Finally, while I love Ron Pauls fiscal policy his foreign policy needs a serious rethinking. Ron Paul is probably the most decent guy running for president, unfortunately a "decent" guy is not what we need. In order to be really effective in this political/economic climate we need a real S.O.B. and that man is Gingrich. Remember no one liked Nixon but in his time he ended US involvement in VIetnam and opened the door to China. A highly effective S.O.B. we need another one.
AmericanPatriot53 1 month ago
@AmericanPatriot53 Wow, I was actually taking you seriously until you mentioned Gingrich. That guy is a total hypocrite and political scum. He's no patriot of the US. At least RP knows something about war because he served in the Air Force. I'm no political expert, but I can identify scum pretty quick and that guy is garbage. He was forced to resign as speaker... In my opinion RP is the only competent candidate and his fp is the best. Cut foreign aid until we balance budgets!
TRYCLOPS1 1 month ago
@TRYCLOPS1 I agree on foreign aid and I'm not kidding about Gingrich. If you watched todays debate even RP said that he approved of Gingrichs Fisscal policy, it is the Foreign Policy where they differ. Gingrich is a self serving politico, he does not have RPs moral compass. At issue is my contention that morality has no place on the geopolitical stage. A moral man like RP will be unsucessful in the same manner that Jimmy Carter was. Moprality can be taken too far on the geopolitical stage.
AmericanPatriot53 1 month ago
@TRYCLOPS1 Example, the Palestinian problem. The moral answer is to give the Palestinians back the land they previously occupied prior to 1948. Clearly this is an unworkable proposal although it is a moral one. An even bigger example would be to give back all the land in the Americas, Austrailia, and New Zealand to the indiginous peoples, this would be moral but completely idiotic. My point is especially in time of conflict that morality takes a back seat to political viability.
AmericanPatriot53 1 month ago
@AmericanPatriot53 The palestinian problem is more complex than that. But its not going to be solved by imprisoning them in a small piece of land or by denying their existance. We deffinately leave Israel to deal with their own problems so we don't get dragged into the same conflict. Israel already moderates our media so we should deal with that too. Almost nobody here knows about the 2008 massacre in Gaza with more than 1300 ppl killed by Israeli bombings and chemical weapons
TRYCLOPS1 1 month ago
@TRYCLOPS1 I spent my career in the service. RPs foreign policy starts with the closure of all foreign bases. It does not take into account the economic and political importance that control of major trade routes have on political alliances and economic activity. Foreign military deployment guarantees the free flow of trade and vital resources. WIthdrawl is to cede control to other regional powers and hegemons thus encouraging our own economic demise and their (China) ascension.
AmericanPatriot53 1 month ago
@AmericanPatriot53 In war there is no moral. You sure are right on that one. That's why it needs to be a last resort. First of all, RP does not plan to close all the bases. Even if he tried I don't think he would be able to. I understand about the trade routes. China is already ascending. They don't have an army as strong, but at the time it will be impossible for us to invade them and win in case of war. You want a leader that is not hesitant. That's in your nature and mine.
TRYCLOPS1 1 month ago
@AmericanPatriot53 In fact, that's in most animals' nature. Wolves decide leadership at a young age. The one that takes it is the one that just doesn't hesitate to show agression and be confident about it. Size doesn't matter but the attitude. We are animals too. But human civilizations are a little more complex than that. And a simple action without a good analythical thought can be devastating. Iraq is an example. If we go to war with Iran, China won't ascend, but we descend
TRYCLOPS1 1 month ago
@AmericanPatriot53 But anyway I think you are wrong in believing Gingrich would actually be beneficial for the country (and I bet money on it). However you seem a little informed on at least part of it. Our economic crisis is going to be our demise if we don't act now. RP is the only one who has an actual plan. RP is the only one who even discuss monetary policy! The rest are just garbage. They can't even bring substance to a debate. This country deserves better.
TRYCLOPS1 1 month ago
@TRYCLOPS1 While the US is fully capable of defeating China in a regional conflict, invasion is a completely different matter. Thats why we will not invade Iran, with it's huge Basij force and proud people it would be a nightmare. Naval and Air only in the case of Iran closing the straiits. China is building it's first foreign military base in the Seychelles. This will help protect its interests in central Africa. US interests really center around the Med and North Africa.
AmericanPatriot53 1 month ago
@AmericanPatriot53 I know but what are we gonna do just keep expanding? Is it just not possible to cut some bases and see how it goes and whenever we solve the economic issues we go back if China expands too much? We need to cut foreign spending and start from 0. We need to either re-evaluate all foreign aid or just cut it all or seriously decrease it until we balance the budget cutting taxes and restructure a better economic environment for lucrative and social balance.
TRYCLOPS1 1 month ago
@AmericanPatriot53 We need to focus a lot on domestic affairs. Clean up Bush and Obama's mess. There are a lot of policies that make this country less efficient and money shouldn't be wasted like that. And sure, you and me can say that they would never be that stupid as to send a ground attack on Iran but you and me know that this government is capable of doing that shit man. I know RP most likely wouldn't do that, but a person like Newt would take the risk! I rather be safe.
TRYCLOPS1 1 month ago
@TRYCLOPS1 Some bases can/have been cut but new bases open up. Philippines has asked for US warships to base again in the Philippines to counter Chinese intrusion into Spratleys. 2500 Marines to Austrailia simply to send a message. Newt would listen to competent military advice. Obamas speech today stole the Republican arguement of US Energy (Hes just figuring this out now?). But it's US energy first and production second. Wipe out foreign Aid and Deped thats a trillion in savings over 10 yrs.
AmericanPatriot53 1 month ago
@AmericanPatriot53 So you think selecting a hypocritical idiot coward as a president is a good thing for national security... Gingrich is only going to follow whatever they pay him to follow. If they pay him for war he will make war. Don't think he's going to care how many americans will die. And Ron Paul will take military advice but he will make up his own decision unlike Bush, that will take any advice and act without hesitation or analysis. Send me an inbox to continue.

@AfrikaaBombeetza And trust me I know people inside the US that want to destroy this imperialistic government too. I'm from a colony of the US originally so I have seen both sides.
