When I was five I got a Game Boy Color for my birthday. My first game was "Game and Watch Gallery 2". It was a huge staple of my childhood. Now I'm 19 and I still play the Game Boy to this day. Its one of my favorite systems of all time.

When I was a kid I didn't even see any other handheld than a Gameboy

Maybe the Lynx and the Sega Whatever didn't sell well and even today Nintendo owns the Handheld market

The only competition is Sony's PSP, its future handheld and iPod/iPhone which I actually don't consider as handhelds

I remember playing the original Game Boy. The first two GB games I played was Paperboy and Zelda. Both were great games. I still have my original gray Gameboy. I still have the original box inserts that came with it.The old G4 channel was way better than what is around today. These really lame video game reviewers host the shows. The stupid one or two liners these writers come up with just suck.

Gameboy is definately one of the greatest consoles of all time. Even though black and white with a small screen, it still was extremely fun. Gameboy is also the most durable, one was in a nuclear explosion and STILL WORKED!!!!!

I still have my original Gameboy and it STILL works. That's a long lasting product right there. I also have a Gameboy Color and a Gameboy Advanced. I recently bought a DS but for some reason I always keep coming back to my old grey brick Gameboy. Gotta love it.

Ah... the Gameboy... it was my very first video game console, portable or at home... I still have it- solid black finish (instead of the original white)... I still have all the games for it I had:

Tiny Toons Adventures: Bab's Big Break

Mega Man II: Dr. Wily's Revenge

Star Wars

Pac-Man

Hercules

Tiny Toons I beat meany years later... Hercules never got past Stage 1... Pac-Man I got about 10 stages in... Star Wars to rescuing Leia... second set of bosses on Mega Man.
