  • OMFG

JEAN CLAUDE VAN DAMME DANCES IN THIS MOVIE ZOMFG !!! AHAHHAHAHAH unreal

  • omg.....thanks

  • THAS ICE T RAPPIN! HA HA!

  • Kelly was so damn hot.

  • man way back

  • This is my favourite dancing movie of all time. I was born in 1994, but the way they dance in this is the closest thing to my dancing. Does anyone know if people can still learn this style?

  • ofcoursee they can but u never saw beat street? i dunno if this is better or not i havent seen this one but i am going to buy it on DVD

  • i liked this better than Beatstreet, in beatstreet there's less dancing and breakin'/breakin'2 have a very 80's colourfull style ^^

  • there are a few dance schools that still teach the oldschool styles such as locking popping and breakdance ;)

  • I remember a friend of my older brother dragged him and me out of our house to watch this and Beatstreet at his place when they came out on VHS and all I thought to myself while I was watching those were "man, these movies suck!!"

  • i love the 80's lol great movie

  • i love old dance movies

  • Breakin' was pretty good for a B MOVIE. Yeah, it was CHEESY and all but it was fun in a so-bad-its-good way. Don't get me started on the music though, talk about sooo 80s!! The acting was just plain BAD tho. You wanna see good acting? Three words: Heath Ledger, Dark Knight.

  • That's four words

  • 2 things:

    Dark knight is 2008

    Breakin' is 1984

    BIG TIME DIFFERENCE

back in the 80s "The Dark Knight" wasn't even possible of filming. they didn'# had all the techonology and materials

  • I even had a nickname. they called me "electro-magic"

    hahah!

    now where's my parachute pants?

  • you 'had' ? you a dancer?

  • ha! yeah I could break dance when I was like 12 years old. I took lessons at the YMCA. I topped out at about 4 different moves I could do. So lame. Not worthy of giving myself a street name. I can still do the wave though at age 34...so watch out! ha!

  • Dude, when it comes to dancing, you're air to me, you should've kept on training and practicing, I have a Japanese friend, he is a dancer, and he's 34! but he still rocks everyone.

P.S. This little comment should've given you the courage to go dancing again, but if it didn't work, I'm sorry then, but very cool that you were a dancer. Once a dancer, Always a dancer. =D

  • Loved this movie then, still love it now! And I don't care that it looks 'cheesy' to the rest of the world. Go TKO!!!

  • yeah this was a great time for movies. Just a fun and care free time. Staying up late night watching movies on top loading VCR's and watching MTV's same videos over and over. I took break dancing lessons back then. I can still do some moves. don't make me bust them out. "the wave" "the centipede" "moonwalk" oh yeahhh!

  • Please, go ahead and bust them out...for old times sake!

  • I even had a nickname. They called me "Electro-magic" I was a big hit at the Jr. High dances. Ok now where did I put my parachute pants and neon yellow belt?

  • Princess that's what made these movies so great. They were so purely bad. So cheesy they were enjoyable. It's also a great nostalgic trip for us in our 30's when we were taking break dancing lessons at the YMCA when we were kids.

  • How the hell can you call this movie "bad" or "cheesy"?? On a purely objective level, this is one of the greatest movies ever made. FACT.

  • Apart from it's terrible sequel Electric Boogaloo, This is without a doubt the most badly acted film i have ever seen. The music is cheesy too. The only thing going for it is the dancing choreography. Although the dancing is dated it is still impressive today and without it, this film would be absolutely nothing.

  • How come the MGM Lion at the start of this trailer has the Tanner lion roar heard in the early 60's MGM logo instead of the 1982 roar? Was it a mistake or did it happen a lot on MGM movie trailers of the 80's up to 1989?

  • "Beat Street" light. But classic 80s none the less.

  • They sell it on ebay, megastors like Virgin and HMV might have it, not sure about the rest of the world.

  • listen to ice t rap, lol

  • do you know where I can see this movie?

  • you can order the DVD at amazon. looks to be about $10. read my review of the film at the link in the top right of this page.

  • These were the good ole days yall!!!!!!!!!!!
