Thank you for putting up this doco, very interesting. My brother contracted polio back in the fifties, and went to Chailey, a side of his life he never spoke about.
thanks for taking the time to upload this great documentary. Ian was a giant, a one off a true original. A great wordsmith, singer, actor and performer. An inspiration and an English Gentleman...A

good insight into a fascinating person.cheers mr.haroldturkeypants for putting this up.any chance to upload the posthumous documentary that the bbc broadcasted after ian had passed on?it contained late nineties interviews .
Yes, like to echo the other comments here. Thanks for putting this up and for all the others too. Great to hear Ian and helps to keep his memory alive. A truly inspiring person.
Greetings from NYC. That was fantastic. It might be one of the best rock documentaries I've ever seen. I only know Ian from his two big hits, and I knew he was on the legendary Stiff Records, but apart from that ,I knew nothing about him. What a story. And he's really talented!!!! Thanks, Harold.

I've got tears in my eyes, and it's not from being too soft. Just the power of seeing something authentic, I suppose.

Yup, this was absoloutely marvelous ;]
You must have some of the best videos mate,
but i didn't like the fact that the view count dwindled towards the end.... What a shame..
Ian Dury seemed like such a decent bloke, largely unknown to public i suppose.
Top geeza, Top uploader... Thanks.
