  • Thank you for putting up this doco, very interesting. My brother contracted polio back in the fifties, and went to Chailey, a side of his life he never spoke about.

    I'm a fan of Ian Drury and the Blockheads.

  • always loved his music great for kids to listen to it's fun i was a kid so was my big brother when those first blockheads records came out thanks harold for that never saw him on tv unfortunately since i'm from the states

  • Greetings from NYC. That was fantastic. It might be one of the best rock documentaries I've ever seen. I only know Ian from his two big hits, and I knew he was on the legendary Stiff Records, but apart from that ,I knew nothing about him. What a story. And he's really talented!!!! Thanks, Harold.

    but i didn't like the fact that the view count dwindled towards the end.... What a shame..

    Ian Dury seemed like such a decent bloke, largely unknown to public i suppose.

  • Great documentary, thanksso much for this Harold. Ian had so many qualities aprt from songwriting. Remember seeing this on Tv in I suppose mid 80s.
