  • as they said TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS and this has been A DAY IN THE LIFE hahahah Stuart Best (:

  • A few months before I saw this episode for the first time, my dad bought my very first CD of my own, an album of all The Beatles number one hits. I thought it was kind of lame at first, being the stupid kid I was then, and didn't listen to it much. Then I saw this, took out that album, and I've been in love with The Beatles ever since.

  • I just now get the Beatles references. Man, I was stupid when I was young.

  • I miss this show.

  • HIM's voice sounds just like the Blue Meanie!

  • ......is Him gay?

  • What about sedusa?

  • Also Where is Part 2?

  • I loved all the Beatle References.

  • HAHA i love how dumbfounded they are at the beginning & Mojo's gun kinda looks like a blow drier

  • Did it ever occur to mojo jojo that he was trying to kill a bunch of kindergartners?

  • Stuart best haha Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best

  • Would it have killed them to give Sgt. Pepper lines from the actual Sgt. Pepper album.

  • I watched PPG when I was a kid, and I've never noticed that Him was a Tranny and Mojo had an asian accent..

  • Someone needs to teach the Powerpuff Girls how to dodge.

  • @Zenardo Get Piccolo up in here NAO

  • If Mojo Jojo is Lennon, Fuzzy is George, and Him is Paul (freakish!), then that makes Princess...Ringo? ROFL gender equality :)

  • @AnnieTheModernMovie no mojo is john, him is paul, princess is george, and fuzzy is ringo. I know it says fuzzy was the "quiet one" (which is odd) but it also said he provided the "rock" as in the steady beat of a drum, and that princess "accompanied mojo on blasters" meaning they played the same thing. so she was george. and anyway when they're attacking the real Beatles they all attack their counterpart. I know, the quiet thing confused me too

  • Him is gonna give me nightmares....

  • Hey I don't get y mojo, princess, him, and fuzzy say those things when the hit ppg while the beat alls r robbing a bank... Can anyone explain?

  • @imjusttellinthetruth those are verses of diferent Beatles songs, even that "Cucucu-chu" that Him says, its part of I'm the Walrus... HUGE FAN! :)

  • I love how they depict Yoko Ono

  • I had no idea what the fuck they were talking about back then...

  • bahahaahahaaaahahaha so awesome, so so awesome

  • This is THE greatest episode of the Power Puff girls in the history of man.

  • OH MY SWEET JESUS. Stuart Best reporting A Day In The Life XD

  • Jesus, Him is frikin scary...

  • I must've seen this a million times as a kid and I can finally understand all the references. THIS IS AMAZING.

  • "Ooooh, THAT is a misconception!"

if you desire an agressive yet highly sophisticated verbal exchange of which the sole purpose is to express outrage and disdain, the mutated primate Mojo Jojo of the town of Townsville shall be your primary choice.

  • I can't help but notice that the layering of Him's voice is pretty much different in every episode. First one he was in? Repeaty-echoey. The rest of the time, mostly just echoey. This time, sharper. And later in the series, a higher pitch added on top of the regular voice :/

  • When I was younger and saw this I didn't get it I thought it was one of their weirdest shows

Now when they say a title I break out in song. This was THE show!

  • This is really funny.

  • I think that the best weapon is that ROCK IT'S EPIC!

  • Didn't Lauren Faust write this episode? So awesome!

  • I understood everything.

  • people in the cheap seats please leave , and rest of you hand over your jewelery :D

  • Help...we need somebody..HELP...not just anybody...HELP. Sigh...this episode is just pure EPIC!!! Someone musta been a huge Beatles fan!

  • @LeftEye2pac

I know! That's my favorite part of the episode...and this is coming from a HUGE Beatles fan!

  • Oh God, this episode suddently makes so much more sense! The danish translators didn't cary over any of the jokes, sadly for everyone else. Brilliant

  • Now I get this episode :)))) LOL

When I was a child I only heard about the band a couple of times :))

    But now I get it.....

  • BEST CHAPTER EVER!

  • Whoa Him is freakin terrifying when he gets angry

"sooo whyyy not run along and have a banana"

  • Oh my God I Love Princess!

    shes such a snob haha

  • 5:46 someone's asking for an ass wooping from the Beatles fans ;)

  • Hey look! A Transvestite!

  • Also, has any one else noticed that the big red dude looks a lot like Jeremy/sounds like the blue meanies from Yellow Submarine?

  • Oh My Fucking Lord. This is the best thing in the universe.

  • 5:58 UNFUCKING CALLED FOR!!!

  • All the song references. Omg. -3

  • Oh my god. I remember this episode-3333 I saw it when I was like 5. I LOVE the Beatles and I love this episode! :)

  • Oh, My God!!!! I just remembered seeing the yellow submarine Beatles in this episode when I was like 7, and thinking that they look really weird. WOAH!!!! I only got these references now...at that time I only knew there was a band called the Beatles and that they named it after them. I'm seriously impressed. O.O

  • omg! I remember seeing this episode when i was like 5 years old!So that's why all the Beatles things seemed so familiar:))

  • Most subtle joke award goes to the name of the reporter - Stuart Best.

  • a beatles tribute episode

  • I used to love this episode, Now I love it even more now that I am in the with The Beatles.

  • oh him did not just hurt my Paul.! it's on.! *taking off earrings*.! this is a beast episode I don't think I saw this as a kid. I would have been confused.! I love the Beatles but I wish the Powerpuff girls could have been the Beatles.

  • National Trust Bank could be a reference to Happiness is a Warm Gun

  • i guess the big bad green gang could be the rolling stones

  • mojo - john lennon

    him - paul mccartney

    fuzzy - george harrison

    princess - ringo starr

  • I missed so many of these references when I was a kid. I'm so glad I got to watch this again. xD (I counted 18 references in this segment, more if you count every reference the reporter makes.)

  • beat alls = eat balls C:

  • !!!! so THAT"S what the voice guy looks like!!!

  • hahahahaha I'm glad I'm a Beatles fan otherwise i wouldnt have understood any of this....i always watched Power Puff Girls when i was little but i NEVER saw this episode!!! This was funny!!! Except the part when they were hurting the actual Beatles lol also laughed at Stuart Best haha this made me laugh

  • lol!! I remember watching this as a kid and didn't understand wtf were they talking about! It all make sense now!! :D

  • You what they say: there is strength in numbers!!

  • Bubbles: "QUIET!!"

    Blossom: "We're trying to sleep!!"

Buttercup: "We'll kick your butts tomorrow!"

    LOL

  • When I first watched this at age six, I only got the "Help, we need somebody" reference, but now I get the rest xD

  • Wow that's a lot of Beatles references! At the end when the reporter. Gives his name that's also a reference because his name is Stuart Best referencing Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best, both members before 1962 because Stu left and Pete was replaced on the drums by Ringo.

  • This episode pissed me off I LOVE the Beatles and they are making fun of them but it's hard to be mad when I also love the power puff girls

  • @mlnys They're not making fun of the Beatles! I remember when this show was a new episode being aired, they called it "A tribute" to the Beatles. Obviously Craig McCracken LOVED them and wanted to show his appreciation! i think it's great (:

  • /watch?v=AgfGmEKVM8k&feature=related

this has the rest of the episode :)

  • lol i wuz addicted 2 this wen i wuz little

  • HAHAHA

I now know why my parents laughed at this episode every time it came on.

The creators of this show must've been HUGE Beatles fans to get all these references! :D

  • @nehnehmjfan22 it was actually the main creator who had the idea

  • Wheres part 2? I wanna see the rest.

  • man I saw this when i was 7, never understood it. Now its probably going to hurt from the referances

  • @1princess62: it's called the beatles not beetles. -.-)

  • whats the name of the lobster/devil red villan(iforgot) ? haha is he supposed to be gay or somthing? ah gawsh i miss this show.......... LOL!

  • @stephinityxox it's HIM

  • why did they have to beat up the beetles they didnt do anything poor beetles the beat-alls stink i wish i could jump into the tv and beat them up as my oc bella bc first they beat up the ppg the the beetles what has this world come to

  • "Who would make a stew?"

  • @5:54 No! Not The Bealtes! Now that I'm like obsessed with the Beatles all the refrences all make since now. I was watching this with my little cousin, and it all made since. :)

  • All refrences: Silver Beatles (one of the band's first names but the changed it), Beat-Alls=Beatles, With the beatles (the LP), the screaming girls, hard day's night, Abbey Road, The long and winding road, Bad 4=Fab 4, Money that's what I want, "The brutish invasion has begun"= The british invasion has begun, Please Please me (the LP cover at 5:39).....and many more :D (this is totally my favorite episode)

  • Ringo gotten a bit of a beating lol.

  • Awesome tribute to one of the GREATEST bands ever.

  • this is actually, the best thing ever

  • I'm sooo afraid of Him. Is He a crossdresser? What exactly is he

  • @Fabulous0216 i think hes supposed to be the devil, or a demon.

  • @Fabulous0216 Allegedly, Him is modeled after the Blue Meanies in the Yellow Submarine movie.

  • I actually understood all of this as a kid, because my mom was obsessed with the Beatles.

  • Ahh, they made a reference to John's famous "Will the people in the cheaper seats clap your hands? All the rest of you If you'll just rattle your jewelry" love this!

  • OMG THEY`RE BEATING UP THE CARTOON BEATLES AT 5:48

  • So many beatles references....

    mojo-run for your life

    him- i am the walrus

    princess- hello goodbye

    fuzzy- don't let me down

  • @simpsonsrock1818 there are even more

  • Oh it is Sergant Pepper, I thought it was Old Fred from the film.

  • Mojo... John Lennon

    Him.... Paul McCartney

    Princess.... Ringo

    Fuzzy.... George Harrison.

  • @ukhistorian

I think that princess is George Harrison

Because If you see Fuzzy is like the last.... ((sorry if I have a terrible enlgish))

  • @Romaxuk2 Fuzzy is George Harrison: "the quiet one that provides the rock".

  • i remember watching this like a year ago and didnt get anything, but now im like obsessed with the beatles and DANG it is awesome how many references there are XD

  • I remember watching this when I was five. When I didn't even know who the Beatles' were, and now I'm obsessed with them! XD They were showing this episode on Boomerang last night and if I didn't see the Abbey Road reference I would have changed the channel. lol

  • This is my all-time favorite PPG episode! : ] When I was a kid I never would have caught all the references.

  • Lol,Him is soo cute ^_^ , "Did we did what I just think we did?"=D

  • Very clever indeed.

  • ALL THE REFERENCES....MAKES ME SO HAPPY

  • Well, she was just seventeen, you know what I mean. . .

I remember watching this when I was six and thinking "Who are the beatles?"

  • They beating up the Beatles?? LMAO

  • "Screaming girls everywhere ran screaming."

    lmfaooooooooooooo

  • 5:55-6:01 A Hard Day's Night, Sgt. Pepper, "Help, we need somebody. Help, we need not just anybody", Tomorrow Never Knows, Stuart Best= Stuart Sutcliffe + Pete Best, A Day in the Life...

OMG I never would have understood this when I was little, but now I'm a huge fan of the Beatles and noticed/understood every single reference haha

  • @erinmitbaren Too many references to name them all here :D

  • @erinmitbaren oh my gosh, I know right?

  • @erinmitbaren when I watched this, my dad (being a HUGE beatles fan) cracked up.

  • @erinmitbaren same here. when i first watched this i was like "oh, what a nice idea. i like this episode. it's so original". but now, when i have discovered the beatles and i'm a huge beatles fan i see all these references xD

  • @ElectricalBug

Same here. XD I think that everybody who has seen this episode in their early childhood has grown up to be huge Beatles fans. I literally listen to them every day now! :D

  • @Bluenuhvok765 haha. i guess so xD

  • @Bluenuhvok765 haha. i guess you're right xD

  • not to mention princess,"you say stop but I say go go go."

mo jo "i need money. that's what I want"

    him "co co ca goatcha"

    the street the beatles crossed.

the beat-alls beating up the beatles xD

  • @erinmitbaren OMFG ME FREAKING TOO . i never understoof a THING when i was little , now it`s like DAMN! i know it all!

  • OMG the amount of Beatles references is amazing. Silver Beatles the background music 4:29 is like the cover of With the Beatles 4:38 Abbey Road Long and Winding Road Bad Four (Fab Four) "Give me money, that's what I want" They 'should've known better' "Better run for your lives if you can, little girls!" Goo Goo GOTCHU "you say stop, but I say go, go go" "the shy one"- George? "I'm gonna let you down and leave you flat" Brutish Invasion 5:42 cover of Please Please Me Ticket to ride....
  • There are so many allusions, not just in the dialogue, but even in the background music. Right before Sgt. Pepper speaks, you can hear the build up from A Day In The Life, and then music sort of like Sgt. Pepper. And Stuart Best - Hahaha.

  • Ever.

  • This episode is the greatest 11 minutes of children's television.

  • The first time I saw this (I was about 10 or 11) I knew most of the references already! XD Then again, I did watch Yellow Submarine at an early age.

  • UH UH...DON'T LIKE THE DOGGONE REPERTOIRE THESE JOKERS ARE CARRYIN' OUT....I REMEMBER THSI EPISODE...I DIDN'T LIKE ANY OF 'EM...

  • Where's part 2?

  • I read somewhere that the creators of the power puff girls had a beatles figurine on his desk

  • wheres part 2

  • pay attention at 4:56 and there is a sound like a hard day's night guitar solo

  • heh...

Mojo jojo was a monkey who thought he was a genious, but he knew it wouldn't last.

He tried to kill the powerpuff girls but they had always kicked his ass. Get back, get back, get back to where you once belong" xD

  • I LOVE this episode!

  • I didnt know how many references there were until i got into the beatles XD

  • OMFG I LOVE THIS!!!!!!

  • the people who thought of this episode are obviously fans of the fab four LOL

love it! even as a kid ;)

  • Sorry if this sounds like I'm bragging, but I totally got these references as a child haha. Not all of them of course, but some. Guess that's what happens when you watch "The Yellow Submarine" at age 7 XD

  • I wonder how the Beat-Alls would go against the AGT judges buzzers, lol

  • 3:40, (imitating Ganon) DIE!
